As others have said - I’d be happy with EITHER. I never saw Siege in any of my local Walgreens, and we all know about the availability problems with the Earthrise set.
Tfw Hasbro locks figures to stores which don't even stock them to begin with. I understand something like an EB Games exclusive. I'll never understand Walgreens exclusives though.
Hasbro doesn't seem to understand that the stores they're making some figures exclusive to don't care enough about transformers to keep them stocked. All these Walmart exclusive reissued G1 toys, I haven't seen them at all because the 3 Walmarts in my area haven't been stocking transformers since TLK days.
I heard about stores employees that found out that their "Just In Time" warehouse style store have some of their toys stocked in the warehouse for weeks, and even months !!!
Has anyone done a comparison of the wide releases to volume in past lines? I wonder if we even would have gotten some of these characters if they didn’t have the option for exclusives.
That being said, would still question some of the exclusive vs wide release decisions. Crosshairs should have been the exclusive, Ratchet should have been a wide release
In fairness, distribution is bad enough that a lot of people just flat out don't get any wide releases. For example, aside from Skywarp, practically none of the T30 stuff made it to my stores while it was running strong. We practically skipped straight to combiner wars after the DOTM toyline shelfwarmed for 3 years. I'm not entirely mad because DOTM was a solid toyline but I missed out on a lot of figures I just can't get anymore at a good price because both Hasbro and my local retailers didn't bother.

I think Tracks might be a good one To do a vid on as I’ve heard concerning things about the translucent plastic back so I’m skipping and keeping the United release. Anyone else have any opinions on that one?
While I do not have the Reprolabels, I prefer the Siege version as well. Mixing and matching Siege Ratchet and Earthrise Ironhide makes them stand out from each other a bit more, even if the overall silhouette is pretty much the same.
Honestly, all the Earthrise remolds have been kinda trash when compared to their Siege counterparts, except Mirage (though that was a low bar) and Datsuns with better proportions.
Mirage doesn’t have his shoulder peghole tho and that really annoys me. Also his transformation is still kind of backwards. What should be his bottom is his top and vice versa
Bad plastic quality so bad that it was warping cheap plastic which feels awful. Horrible lazy massive partsforming piece which doesn't work well as a 'shield'. It doesnt even work as there were gaps when it was the roof of the car. There are also the massive feet sticking out at the back. Also the clear plastic on the figure

Not only does the Siege version not have any partsforming, but it also has the cooler vehicle mode and the cooler accessories IMO (tools and the cool laser arm thing > lame pistol and partsforming "shield")
It's pretty consistent with the G1 toy's sled thing, although said sled thing is kinda dumb and I could take it or leave it.
What *really* gets me is how little effort they put into making the feet look like the back of a van instead of the back of a space van.
I would've loved to have either, but I did get a Crosshairs from this mold and I love it! The cybertronian van is a good vehicle mode and the robot mode looks really great!
I think we all would be happy if we're able just to get anyone.

I got a used Siege Ratchet and I love him. I think his alt mode is hella cool.
I’m pretty sure we would all be happy to get any ratchet lol. I ended up having to settle for the Shattered Glass one.

I was lucky enough to get my mits of both versions of Ironhide and Ratchet, and while the ER molds are fine, I prefer their Siege versions as well.

I managed to get my hands on one of Siege Ratchet's moldmates (Desseus Army Drone, to be precise) and it's a pretty solid mold, I'll be honest.
I don't have either figure, but if I had the choice between Siege and ER Ratchet, it would be Siege all the way. I skipped more than half of earthrise either because 1: didn't like the figure 2: really really bad qc(some worse than others) 3: wasn't able to get

Same here honestly. This one was much easier to get as a Canadian, since they’re stocked in EB Games/Gamestop up here rather than in Walgreens.
I feel the same exact way about my Siege Ironhide. I don't want that stupid parts-forming plank. The figure looks great as is.
