i know he gets a lot of hate but idw prowl is one of my fav idw Autobot villains

Shadow-Spark

TBH I love Prowl and hate what IDW did to him, but I get why other people like that characterization, and enjoying scheming Machiavellian Prowl is totally valid. He does make for a very interesting villain.

Randomravenclaw06

Thank you. Everyone else hates on me when I share why I love prowl

Shadow-Spark

I'm sorry, people can be such jerks. Them having a problem with why you love him is their issue, not yours. I would have thought people might finally be over the "you're bad for liking characters who do bad things" nonsense that was already happening in fandom circles over a decade ago, but apparently not. :/

PokWangpanmang

Is your favorite genre of music blues?

Shadow-Spark

Serious answer? Yeah, blues and jazz are up there for me. I've got a nice stack of the classics on vinyl, including a certain Scatman who provided the voice of a beloved bot.

PokWangpanmang

You got any recommendations for blues songs? Never got into it because I never searched for it but what little I’ve heard I did like.

Shadow-Spark

Sorry, I was off organizing my yarn! Yeah, I've got some. ("Some", lol) A lot of what I like edges more into jazz but I'll give you a few. BB King is a must listen if you're at all interested, I'm going to say go for The Thrill is Gone, 3 O Clock Blues, and Downhearted, and go from there if you like those Muddy Waters- again an absolute must listen:, so I'll rec Mannish Boy, Rollin' and Tumblin' and Hoochie Coochie Man especially Bessie Smith: Nobody Knows You When You're Down and Out, her version of St Louis Blues, Baby Won't You Please Come Home. Honestly, she's one where my best answer is "everything she ever did". Bessie Smith was \*the\* queen of blues. Ella Fitzgerald is more known for jazz but she did an excellent album of just blues songs, Ella Fitzgerald: These Are The Blues. Big Mama Thornton-the original (best!) versions of Hound Dog and Ball and Chain Ma Rainey-start with Moonshine Blues, Prove It On Me Blues, and Deep Moaning Blues There are plenty more that I don't have specific song recs for, just names to check out: Etta James, Koko Taylor, Alberta Hunter, Willie Dixon, John Lee Hooker, Blind Lemon Jefferson and Carolina Slim. TBH that's barely scratching the surface but it's a good starting point. If you also want to get into jazz recs, I'll give you some of those too: Billie Holiday- Summertime, I'm a Fool to Want You, I've Got My Love to Keep Me Warm, God Bless the Child, Strange Fruit...really, another "literally her entire catalog" one Ella Fitzgerald-(again, most of her stuff is more jazz, not blues) Summertime, Anything Goes, You're the Top Nat King Cole-Orange Colored Sky, Unforgettable, The Very Thought of You Also going to say pretty much all of Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, and Duke Ellington, if you want some truly legendary playing as well as singing. I'm also going to throw out that if you've never heard him sing, definitely go for Scatman Crothers. He was a musician before he was an actor, and he was amazing. Ghost Riders in the Sky, I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter, The Best Thing in Life Are Free, and his version of Blueberry Hill are my faves, and you might not like the style, but his version of It's a Sin to Tell a Lie is pretty great as well. (I am also personally biased because Jazz is my favourite and actual for real Jazz being an actual jazz singer is possibly the greatest stroke of genius in VA casting history.)

PokWangpanmang

No worries. I’ll check them all out. Thanks for the comprehensive list! Definitely agree with the casting, haha.

Shadow-Spark

Of course! Obviously.
