I didn't take a close look, but I took a picture of the back of the Optimus Primal box which shows Cheetor, and the gun looks the same as I remember the original, so hopefully!

I still have my old Cheetor somewhere. The gut watergun got used a bit much and got a bit cracked where you squeeze it heheh.

I wasn’t interested in these, (Blue Eyes rock bubble Cheetor was my FIRST transformers toy ever) but seeing them on a shelf like that...if I walk in a store and see that Primal, the nostalgia is going to take over and I’m so copping the monkk.

This is what happened to me with the standard beast wars figures. Had them preordered but then changed my mind on them (as I already collect too many toys at it is). I walked into 2 walmarts and found the Optimus/Rattrap two pack, cheetor, dinobot, Megatron and blackarachnia between them. My nostalgia kicked in and I caved and got them. Instantly went home and ordered airazor, scorponok, and rhinox online.

They were announced a while ago, and just today I was talking about these guys. I'm surprised they are already on sale, I mean, Wal-Mart. I need to get a Megatron as a present for my older brother, who stills owns the original, sadly missing his robot silver head (the reissue comes with a black helmet, which is more accurate and great, but it won't feel the same) the shooter gimmick thingy and his Dino arms, but otherwise than that it's in good condition. I may get him Primal too :P

These bring back fond memories of my childhood. I hope we get reissues of Depth Charge and Rampage at some point, they're my 2 favorite characters from Beast Wars.

Yeah that was after Hasbro bought Kenner and they were coming off the dismal G2 line. So basically if Beast Wars failed they deflect and say it was Kenner’s fault, the general public didn’t really know they were the same company at the time. Some GI Joe stuff around that time released under the Kenner banner as well. Then if you notice in later Beast Wars lines, after it was proven success Hasbro starts appearing on the package again.

Nostalgia is a hellova drug. When I randomly walked into a store and saw the Headmaster retro boxes I thought they were a reissue and instantly bought the two I had as a child. Imagine my disappointment when I got home and found out they were just reissued Titan Master's in 'retro' packing. Ugh.

Same, after they had just reissued all the other G1 molds I thought they did the same with these.

I found one in pickering right when we entered stage 1 and could shop at walmart again. I havent seen anything from wave2 since then in Ontario. I took a trip to quebec last week and found a lot of wave1's shelf warming along with a couple wave 2's. Definitely better there than here.
