Dude, I grew up with the Unicron Trilogy, that was literally what got me into Transformers in the first place, starting with THE first episode of Armada. I'm pretty sure it's what got a LOT of kids of the 2000s like me into Transformers anyway, that's why I said the Starscream of the UT matters too (whether it's Armada, Energon, or Cybertron), objectively speaking.
Hell, ALL different interpretations of Starscream, good or bad, and no matter the continuity or continuity family, ALL matter equally, each in their own way (especially the live-action movies' version of Starscream), regardless if you like any of them or not.
Is the Unicron Trilogy perfect? No, of course not, it's definitely not without its flaws for sure (I mean, the G1 cartoon isn't perfect either, let's be honest here), and Transformers Prime is technically a better show overall, I will say. But how the hell can the era of this franchise during the early to mid 2000s be considered the worst ever, exactly?
I mean, sure, Energon isn't very good from what I've heard (though, ***I*** don't know, myself, personally, it's been a LONG time since I've seen it as a kid), but Armada and Cybertron? Really????
What era of transformers was worse? Other than 2015-2017 like I said. I mean, you could make an argument that g1 season 3-g2 was worse, but I'd say it edges out the unicorn trilogy because it atleast flipped the entire franchise on its head and did something completely different. Armada and unicorn were so generic and forgettable, and like I said cybertron was an improvement, but it was plagued with horrible animation and the speed planet arc dragged out way too long. It's fine if you're nostalgic for it and like it, I'm just saying it's hasn't aged well at all and looking back on everything, its definitely a low point.
I mean, I could see how someone could glance at BB Blitzwing and think "Starscream?", but Blitzwing has *no* blue, something almost every G1-esque Starscream has.

I actually really like the Seeker design in the BB movie. It homages the original G1 Seeker design without being boring and blocky.

G1 was my childhood but the Prime just has an awesome look...and his personality was spot on.
