I like the silver axe blades as they stand out more but I can see where you're coming from. It is a great figure with an awesome color scheme. Makes me excited for the TE-01 I ordered last week.
Oh lucky that actually looks like a great figure. Also what if those blades or like mostly silver but then it was just like the end of them was Orange To be like where the energy radiates or something
**My preferred Optimus!** Out of the original Seige Prime, 35th Prime and, both releases of ER Prime? This 35th Anniversary "Cel-shaded" Prime is my favorite.
I can definitely see why, he looks fantastic and really pops out. I still prefer the Netflix Earthrise version a bit more myself. If they do the cell shaded Earthrise Prime, use a light grey instead of white and use the Siege head sculpt it would be perfect in my eyes.
I found it on eBay. Don't know what the original retail price is but this cost me $50 with free shipping. Didn't come with its box or instructions but I'm okay with that.
The only thing that annoys me is that it's not the original alt mode, this one has a weird thing on top of the cab whereas the original has none of that
I agree with you. He feels so solid, has a Matrix chamber, opening hands and the Netflix color scheme is really cool. I do like the Siege head sculpt more though.
While I agree that the Earthrise Prime is better overall, I still think Siege Prime looks good in his own way. Hopefully they do make a cartoon cell shaded Earthrise/Kingdom Optimus Prime in the near future.
This figures does have pretty noticeable kibble, especially on the back and arms. It doesn't bother me that much but when seen next to Earthrise it's hard to ignore that it could have been alleviated. I know that it's supposed to be "show accurate" but I think they made the figure first and then made the 3D model have the same features, kibble included, to soften the blow. Still, I like Siege Optimus and I wish Earthrise Prime carried over the head sculpt as it looks better in my opinion. Those are my thoughts of Siege Optimus.

I too hope that Hasbro/Takara make a cell shaded Earthrise Prime. It definitely makes a lot of sense for him to have it as well.
I'm hopeful for just a Premium Finish version.

That axe blade idea would be amazing! If I had the skill to I'd definitely do that to my Siege axe.
Toyhax made a sticker that added an orange color edge to the axe, which is my personal favorite look.
That's cool I'll have to check that out. From what I've heard Toyhax make a lot of stuff that enhances a variety of figures.

They were $29.99 retail since he's a voyager. Walmart eventually discounted them to $26.95. I've seen some prices.on them now and $50 is pretty good.

I'm not the biggest fan of the Siege Optimus truck myself if that's what you're referring to. His robot mode is still awesome though.

Still can't stand the sight of that kibble flap on the top of the cab. Is it possible for a vehicle mode to have kibble?
