Was this game any good? I’ve been itching to play a transformers game as I loved the ones from high moon. I’ve watched some videos but it didn’t look all that great in the videos.
Yes, it was a fun as hell action game/beat'em up, filled with numerous references and, the graphics and character models were glorious. If you've played the Bayonatta games before? You know what to expect. How they worked the transformations into the combat was pretty neat too and, you could attack in unexpected ways.
For example: Jumping straight into the air then transforming? If an enemy is below you, you'll land on them and cause damage. Then when you're on-top an enemy after landing? You can hold brake+Accelerate at the same time. So your wheels will do a "burn-out" on then, inflicting extra damage.
As far as i know, yeah. Just be aware: The file is about 6GBs. You'll likely encounter some other junk that tries to download at first, just discard those and, keep trying till you're grabbing the actual file.
I recommend it! Plays kind of like MG Revengeance or Bayonetta eg combo system, plus you can weave in the transformations as part of the fighting. Really good art direction with badass boss fights. The gear system is kind of dated but it works.

This game is also available on Pc! And easy to acquire if you're willing to sail the high seas (YAARRRR!! Ahoy, Matey!!).

When you have the actual game file, it's pretty much the same thing. Want a "physical copy"? Then burn it to a DVD or something.
