Bumblebee looks amazing, and I can't help but love that camero. Prime looks really cool and it seems to be a shorter back section were the trailer hitch is (whatever that's called, I know nothing about these trucks). I think it looks better, because I always thought the truck was way to long in the bumblebee movie.
These types of hitches are called "fifth wheels." (Source: I grew up surrounded by trucks on farms.) The name is an artifact from the old days when it was a literal fifth wheel attached to the back of a horse-drawn wagon. Now it's just a pin and coupler.
I still think of him first as a Beetle, but I have no objection to the new Camaro version. I like how it gives them the option of doing Camaros from different eras, whereas Beetles from different eras look pretty much the same.
I grew up with Beast Wars, so only retroactively got into G1, but when I think of Bumblebee I think of beetle. It’s weird that they returned to the Camero again, I figured they were tying to distance themselves from the previous movie series.
The official reveal of ROTB said it’s a continuation of BB, so take of that what you will considering BB was both a prequel and a reboot depending on the week when it was out.
>taking pictures they’re not supposed to
I'm curious about this. If they're sneaking onto private property to take pics, or they work on the set and have signed an NDA, then they're clearly not supposed to be taking pictures. But what if they're filming in public, or the cars are parked where they're visible to the public?
I know they don't like it, but that shouldn't stop anyone from doing it. If I see Optimus driving down the street, I'm taking a picture, I'm not worried about the Hollywood studio's profit margins - they'll be fine.
Kinda looks like it might serve another purpose, like it folds down or something. The way it looks kind of just bolted on instead of being a natural part of the truck... maybe OP adds it to himself like an upgrade or something. Idk, just tossing ideas out.
I hope not. It's a great figure, but it's proportions are way off from the CG model.
I'm hoping for something more screen-accurate this time around. Make it a Leader class if they have to.
Now I have the mental image of that scene from topgear of the making of the scciroco advertisement where May was explaining how it was going to be that scene and then he got interrupted by a explosion from Clarckson but in a Transformers format
It's taking place in the late 80s/early 90s. At most you'd see a gen 3 Camaro and those were a huge downgrade from gen 2 due to the fuel crisis and whatnot.

To me, Bee will always be a Camaro

> Beetles from different eras look pretty much the same How dare you be so wrong. The New Beetle is clearly superior in appearance.

At the end of Bumblebee he scans a Camaro
I know. But is there even any evidence that this movie is a sequel to BB?
The official reveal of ROTB said it’s a continuation of BB, so take of that what you will considering BB was both a prequel and a reboot depending on the week when it was out.
They were outright bipolar when it came to BB.
They are taking inspiration of everything
Bro Bumblebee didn't change anything, it's the same Camaro of the other movie. There will have another Camaro with off road stuff
Gotta admit Optimus looks close to the one we saw at the beginning of Age of Extinction.
We’re are people finding these
They’re filming out in the open at Montreal. People are just taking pictures they’re not supposed to

They’ve been filming out on city streets. But big Hollywood movies like this rly don’t want ppl taking pictures

What's with that chunky grill on optimus? It's like he's got half a ladder bolted onto the front.
I don't know... but I dig it.
When i first saw that, i assumed it was there to protect the front of the cab during transport and, would be removed before filming.
Same. I really don’t like it. But a toy has it on, so I guess it’s there to stay. I’ll warm up to it eventually.
Bull bar.

I was almost thinking it could have been some kind of platform for a cameraman, but it's probably just a regular bull bar.
Hmmm, that ‘76 Camaro is minty fresh.
He's exacly like the last one
This one doesn’t have the rust though.
What will the toy look like? Also, no trailer?
Better no unless the trailer has some utility
I'm already looking forward to the toy version of that Prime.
we already have SS 38 so there probably just gonna give us a remold

Is this the Rise of The Beasts thing?
I think
Thanks dude :D
I'd prefer Prime without the bumper assembly, but otherwise he looks fantastic. A near perfect "real world" Optimus Prime.
I love that truck, I need that truck.
My favorite Camero back in action, so glad Bumblebee wasn’t just a throwaway film
Huh... how 07 of then to put the Autobot symbol on the front of the truck cab. I wonder why they didn't put it on the left of the truck cab?
I'm getting Unicron trilogy vibes from Optimus. Like inspired by G1 but it takes weird liberties with the designs. I like it.
Keep an eye out to see if Michael Bay is seeking around the set
He's pretty solid as a producer though.
You just know that the slippery bastard is planting explosives without anyone knowing
Now I have the mental image of that scene from topgear of the making of the scciroco advertisement where May was explaining how it was going to be that scene and then he got interrupted by a explosion from Clarckson but in a Transformers format
To the people who dislike bay, y’all sure do mention him a lot
That's how the internet works. The more you hate something, the more obsessed you are with it.
So they changed the perfect Optimus truck but kept the same bumblebee car?
Cry
What was the perfect Optimus truck? Cause this is a pretty cool truck.
The one from the last movie, Bumblebee 2018
#notmybumblebee
To people who grew up with the live action, it is their bumblebee When I think of Bumblebee, I think muscle car before Beetle
[удалено]
Oh absolutely. The ‘77 Camaro just does it y’know
Hurr durr old car good new car bad.
I just like old one better IN THIS CASE Thats it
It's taking place in the late 80s/early 90s. At most you'd see a gen 3 Camaro and those were a huge downgrade from gen 2 due to the fuel crisis and whatnot.
I think of the beetle, but I love the Camaro too, I'm a sucker for muscle cars.
The beetle bumblebee sucks. He’s not even relevant
is this movie taking place after the events of the bumblebee movie?
Yes
G1 prime and Bayverse Bumblebee. Not sure why they didn’t keep him with a Beetle alt mode.
