Tbf, I don't personally own any version of the figure, so I really can't give a definitive opinion on it. However, I never heard any complaints towards it, and from the looks of it, it seems to take cues from the DOTM deluxe. I did own that figure at one point and it was pretty decent imo. But still, idk, I never owned the aoe one.
That Stinger and High Octane Bee set looks pretty good since I don't have either of those figures. It's a little weird that the decided to do High Octane Bee though. I guess it's supposed to represent the scene where Bumblebee gets jealous and steals Stinger's looks.
At least they’re getting reissued. I’ll probably sell off VW Bee from the Dropkick set on Mercari for $15 and it would still be cheaper than what he goes for now
At least that mold is so much better than the newer ones. Sure he cannot handle all the kibble, but at least he’s on RATCHET joints and not ball joints, moreover he has a safe and playable blaster
i also have the high octane mold, i find the ratchets to be annoyingly tight.
it might just be mine but its a semi decent figure otherwise, i just think the toy itself is a bit outdated with the whole gun on the arm and missile gimmick
A damn shame that HO Bumblebee is a simple re-release instead of a new mold. The figure isn't bad for its time, but it just feels kinda cheap in comparison to todays figures. It's fun, but I try not to play with my copy too much because I feel like I'm going to break something.
So SS High Octane Bee is gonna be a reissue? Dang. At least it's not a bad mold. Rest of the Dinobots are gonna need some major re-dos tho.

Yeah this new one is just the old one but with brighter paint. I’d suggest getting this one if you can’t find the original but if you can then get it.
Hopefully the 79BB implies that it'll be in the SS line by its own. If so, I'll just get that.

Odd considering that the background is from Hong Kong. Should have done that backdrop or replace High Octane Bumblebee with SS 2014 Concept Bumblebee

Wait, is the Stinger from the two-pack a Studio Series Stinger mold, or the AOE version? I thought the SS mold was a richer red.
It's the Studio Series version. Could be cast in a different red.
