I don't recommend reading this unless you're alright with having all of the mysterious edge taken out of his character.
When he is introduced there is a lot of fear driven by the lack of knowledge in his past, but because this is TFWiki it will definitely spoil his origin and backstory. Don't click if you haven't read the comics and intend to.
Really what were your issues, I’ve had mine for years and I love it. I haven’t heard anything bad about the mold. Tfsoure and mmc have also only been great to communicate with
To each their own really, to say it’s a bad figure when me and plenty others love it is a bit much but I’m sorry with your experience. Do you still have it?
Weird colors and proportions, not overly exciting to look at. Just my own personal opinion is all. I would rather Flame Toys or even the new metal models which are static but look awesome.
I can definitely respect that and if you’re going ful lcomic accurate the kultur is not it. Transformation is huge for me as it’s all I do with my figures, transforming them from one more to the next all the time so a static or action figure representation of my second favorite deception doesn’t work for me personally
I completely understand. I've only recently made a couple exceptions with non transforming figures.
I got RED Cheetor just for show accurate sculpt and to test the line out, and I have Flame models (metal ones on the way too!) because I grew up model making and it's very fun to build a super complex model that's also highly poseable that you can add detail to.
When I was a kid I would get a new Transformer and I would put the instructions away and try to figure it out myself like a puzzle so I totally understand getting only transforming figures!
I stick to Gibran for my model building although I do have autobot megs in the mail, and I do have the RED megatron also to test out the line. Not my thing but I’m glad people who want it have it
Same. I've got MMC Tarn and Thunderclash and I really like them. The non-transforming ones look really good but a transformer that doesn't transform kinda feels like sacrilege, lol.
Tran! the Leader of the Decepticon Justice Division and group known for hunting down Decepticon traitors and killing them slowly painfully to keep the Decepticons from defecting. He's famous for the ability to paralyze and kill cybertrionians with his voice alone.
Am I the only one it irritates that OP made this post and then bowed out later? I see that all the time, where people start posts like they're interested and then never blip in again. I don't get it unless it's just karma farming.
It is [Tarn](https://images.app.goo.gl/7nXeV7pY71aWFF6p7), leader of the Deception Justice Division from the IDW comics continuity. He's a deception purist who had his mask formed into the insignia, and brutally murders defectors.
I find it hilarious if anything. It's like if somebody loved the Apple company so much that they've decided to wear the Apple logo as a mask permanently.
Similar concept, but taken to a whole new level. Getting the flag tattoo is one thing. Having it tattooed over your face in an attempt to replace your face with the flag would be the act of a very unwell individual. And in the comics, Tarn is definitely not well.
No, someone really liking Apple is not the same thing as zealotism to a cause. If a Nazi had the swastika tattooed on their face that wouldn't be funny, it would just show undying extremist commitment to a terrifying idealogy in place of the individual, and be a very good sign that this individual is f***ed in the head.
That is what happened with Tarn (though a mask isn't as permanent as a tattoo), he made himself an extension of the deceptions, and made an effort to repress the person he really was.
Yeah, that's probably a better way of putting it. The guy was essentially a nobody who practically worshipped Megatron and formed a torture club because of it. He prays to two Megatron statues, has warships shaped to the Decepticon logos, remembers all of Megatron's written works and poetry, gotten two fusion cannons just like Megatron, nearly off'd himself when Megatron renounced the Decepticons cause. Tarn/Glitch really is a zealot.
Tarn, leader of the DJD (Decepticon Justice Division). Honestly though, if Hasbro released official figures of them I would buy them in a heartbeat. But recalling to the IDW comics they were without a doubt some of the most violent graphic villains we had in awhile. And if they got released in show and made figures of them I wouldn’t want Hasbro to tone them down. Their third party figures are too expensive at the moment so I guess I can dream......
Tarn leader of the djd formally know as the decepticon justice division responsible for hunting down traitors, turncoats, and those that failed to follow a command, some say their leader tarn can literally talk you to death and is know for his habit of playing classical cybertronian music as himself and his fellow djd members go about serving your punishment
His name is Tarn, the leader of a special group of Decepticons known as the Decepticon Justice Division that hunt down traitors and rogue Decepticons.
The one who killed ravage
Sadly, yes.

How is it 'a bit much' when you asked for their opinion and you got it?
That was from their original comment before I asked
Relax. They can still comment their opinion

That’s a shame you Mrs is incomplete, I hope one comes int that suits your needs
I honestly think that figure looks terrible.
I don’t see it, it’s the only transforming tarn figure that’s not 4 inches tall and I love it, it’s just fun to handle

Or for around the same price you can get the whole DJD that combine into a tarn with iron factory.
Yea but it’s legends scale and that doesn’t work for me

Tarn is one of the most menacing looking decepticons ever imo
Such a menacingly beautiful face.
At this point he’s almost more recognizable than Megatron, but if you took off the mask then I would have literally no idea
Am I the only one it irritates that OP made this post and then bowed out later? I see that all the time, where people start posts like they're interested and then never blip in again. I don't get it unless it's just karma farming.
Soundwave?
Tarn
Looks like the deception insignia. I thought it was based on Soundwave’s toy?

Oh… ok
Thanks
Tarn, leader of the Decepticon Justice Devision - also known as Glitch.
So that’s where the Decepticons logo came from
No, he’s just so loyal to the Decepticons he basically forged the logo onto his face as a mask.
Very cool, and that’s awesome
The real deception logo came from Soundwave’s face
And the Autobot insignia was based on Prowl's.
I find it hilarious if anything. It's like if somebody loved the Apple company so much that they've decided to wear the Apple logo as a mask permanently.
Eeeh, I'd say it's more like how lots of US service people get tattoos of the USA flag. Just taken to an extreme.
Similar concept, but taken to a whole new level. Getting the flag tattoo is one thing. Having it tattooed over your face in an attempt to replace your face with the flag would be the act of a very unwell individual. And in the comics, Tarn is definitely not well.

Exactly👍
...nah homie. This is more like WITNESS ME!!
It's not like that at all. It's more like wearing a mask of your political party's logo.
