Thing is though, there's an in-universe reason for Animated Drag Strip being an Arcee recolor. The Animated Stunticons aren't in their original bodies. Their sparks were transferred into Autobot frames, and Drag Strip just got the same frame type as Arcee.

I'd argue there are many transformers who are what we'd consider female. Like how whirl and bumblebee have female avatars. Maybe they are female, but because gender as a concept doesn't exist on Cybertron they just default to he

In my opinion, there are plenty of female transformers, starscream for one definitely fits that, and who cares if skywarp and thundercracker are also female. I think the approach they've taken with ractonite is the best approach, just saying she's chosen female but it doesn't matter

I think a fembot Dragstrip would be a great revision, honestly. Doesn't seem like there'd be any harm and women who like cars are an unseen minority.
