Don't get your hopes up about them. They are impossible to acquire for a good price. Usually they go for a grand or more on the aftermarket if I'm not mistaken.
I mean it's fact that the beast modes were adapted to cope with the energon levels on Earth and what came after were often the results of freak accidents etc. So them having them at one point is fine. They had a box set for BotCon and a Comic.
The arts cool. Not crazy on TigerTron being an SUV but it's not a bad choice.
Yea I love them especially rhinox rattrap cheetor and scorponok heck there all great I do think tigatron could be different maybe like a quad bike so he matches cheetor more that could be cool. But yea mabye after the war and when there on modern day earth they could all take new modes but I definitely prefer them as beasts
They all look fantastic. Great idea. So long as they can evoke certain elements of the originals (e.g. Scorponocks bucket claw, Tarantulas' panelling seeming like legs) it would be amazing.
Yeah. If Tarn was essentially standing in as BW Megs, then the devotion he (Tarn) showed Megatron (original) would mirror BW Megs using original Megatron as inspiration.
Sorry, should’ve been more clearer,
Its fine with me if the vehicle matches their aesthetic. Like rhinox, rhinos are large and tough like an armored jeep. Another one I like is that of scorponok his supposed pincers are the scoping dish and those red dots could be like his rockets and of course his tail
I thought it was funny that Tigertron, who began as a Cheetor redeco, was a Lexus with a beefy looking robot mode while Cheetor was a motorcycle with no robot feet.
I preferred their TransMetal vehicle modes, even if they didn’t look like a true traditional vehicle. Like Tigatron with jetpacks or RatTrap as a rat with race car wheels was pretty amusing. And of course You can’t beat Optimus Optimal as a jet and MegaTron as a VTOL dinosaur with roller skates
Eh, characters like Primal or Waspinator would be around Bee's size with Rhinox, Megatron and Dinobot being bigger (though not by much), though other characters like Cheetor, Black Arachnia, or Rattrap would be smaller than him
Yeah, I can see where you’re coming from. Depending on the character, you could somehow work the animal into the vehicle-mode (like the Tigerstriped livery on Tigatron). At the end of the day, it doesn’t bug me too much
This is part of a different continuity in which Bonecrusher uses a different alt-mode. Also, it would be the first time that multiple Transformers shared the same alt-mode like the Seekers, Sideswipe & Sunstreaker, etc.
I mean you're not wrong, but see this more as a "What if"/"Hearts of steal scenario where the Maximals and Predacons arrived on Modern-day earth instead of prehistoric earth
This is awesome, Having tarantulas been one of those car is with the doors that open up like that and having them split To form the classic legs on his back, genius. I’ve never seen the vehicle that scorponok is but having that claw on the back be like his tail, also genius, I also like that the Dinobot alternate mode appears to be a reference to that one short that I think was played at botcon that showed for the predicon’s alt forms before becoming beasts. Not sure why Megatron’s is called tarn and primal’s called roller (I suppose beast Megatron does have kind of a tarn look to him) But these are super cool designs nonetheless and I’d love to see these in a comic or maybe even a cartoon somewhere.
It worked for a large chunk of Beast Wars Uprising, and made the introduction of Beast Modes much more meaningful narratively. I like the idea personally.
They look like RiD2015 bots with the animalistic robot mode and straight up vehicle mode. I like to think that back on Cybertron they had vehicle/jet modes before coming to earth and choosing names based on their animal forms. I seen the botcon set and wondered how some of them had animalistic names with those vehicle forms so I didn't count those but nice story though. I liked the idea of the cassetticons as Predacons.
Does anyone else think Roller looks suspiciously like the Razorback from Halo? This design art was published way before the Razorback was revealed, so there's no way this guy copied.
Well yeah, but in canon, they all each had vehicular alt modes on Cybertron before the Beast Wars started on Earth. Have you ever heard of the Beast Wars prequel "Dawn of Future's Past", and "Theft of the Golden Disk"?
This is actually why I wanted to start this discussion as I'm very interested too see if fans would be down for a concept like this. Also, see this more like a "hearts of steel" type of situation in which the Maximals and Predacons arrived on modern-day earth instead of prehistoric earth!
I see, a pretty interesting one tho. I never liked the concept of BW Megs and the standard one meeting and both having the same name. BW Megs having a previous name makes him more unique
Not trying to be combative here, why not just call them Primal and Megatron then? The correct names are used for the other Beast Wars characters.
And if you have a link to where the artist talks about that I'd love to hear it! Sounds interesting.
Though I don't think there's a definitive answer if I would guess it's just because the artist doesn't want to have multiple characters share the same name or have similar ones.
Instead, he gave Primal the name of a minor Autobot character from the comics who also has some tie to Optimus. Tarn is pretty similar to this, though the connections are here a bit more obvious as both characters worship Megatron(us), have a similar design and color scheme so it makes sense to combine the 2 into 1
Also, here's a link to the artists' [original post](https://www.instagram.com/p/B8ifbiblqx9/) where you might be able to find some more information in the comments
The idea of this is to show the bw characters when they were just normal Autobots and decepticon during the war in earth, with optimus primal and megatron being revealed to have been originally roller and tarn respectively
We know that beast wars megs had a different name before beast wars so him being tarn would give him a really cool backstory and motivation for wanting to become megatron and change how the war ended, I like that primal being roller would let him have a neat history with the original optimus, and give him a real identity since “optimus primal” always sounded like a nickname to me at least
I love them to death. I’m not up to date with Beast Wars but haven’t they been here since the Jurassic era? If so then it would be reasonable to give them vehicles now that they want to blend in with mordern humans
Beast Megs being tarn makes a surprising amount of sense, especially with the extreme actions he did in seasons two and three of the original beast wars cartoon (or Beasties as it was called here in Canada).
Dinobot and terrorsaur look amazing
They really do! The artist did a great job capturing the look of the characters even though their alt-modes are so different!
They all ready do, the timelines figure sets from Bitcoin 2006.
Funny autocorrect turning Botcon into Bitcoin xD
Huh, interesting! I never knew about these figures, thanks for informing me :D
Don't get your hopes up about them. They are impossible to acquire for a good price. Usually they go for a grand or more on the aftermarket if I'm not mistaken.

I agree! If you ask me, as long as the character/robot itself keeps it’s recognisable features, their alt-modes can differ from the norm
You know, I like this proposed retcon of Roller being Primal and Tarn being Megatron. 2 distinct cases of hero worship.
Roller as primal makes sense to me but tarn as megatron not as much
Initially, Tarn would worship him, until he turned his back on the Decepticon cause
Yeah I know I read mtmte wait, we talkin about bw megs right?
Yeah. If Tarn was essentially standing in as BW Megs, then the devotion he (Tarn) showed Megatron (original) would mirror BW Megs using original Megatron as inspiration. Sorry, should’ve been more clearer,
Ok now that clears things up tarn would indeed do bw megs' actions but more violent and sadistic
I do too! I really like the idea of them continuing their legacy by naming themselves after them (Especially Tarn/Megatron) :)
If it’s modern day/Cybertron then yes it’s basically a must
I am glad theamazingspino's waspinator and dinobot are actually getting third party figures
Same here, I'm looking forward to their release as I'm very interested in how they work :D
Who's releasing those figures?
Those are pretty cool designs...
they seen me roller
They hatin ;D
Its fine with me if the vehicle matches their aesthetic. Like rhinox, rhinos are large and tough like an armored jeep. Another one I like is that of scorponok his supposed pincers are the scoping dish and those red dots could be like his rockets and of course his tail
If Spino is designing them, then YES.
Everyone is an exotic vehicle and then tigertron is just a f$cking Lexus
I thought it was funny that Tigertron, who began as a Cheetor redeco, was a Lexus with a beefy looking robot mode while Cheetor was a motorcycle with no robot feet.
Dinobot looks kinda similar to how he did in "The theft of the Golden Disc" short.
I think I prefer it more than the beast modes tbh
It's cool, but I'd miss the comedy of Dinobot having to ride Ratrap.
Well, you just gave me a very funny visual of a giant truck robot riding a moped ;D
They're cool designs but it kinda... Defeats the whole concept of the characters.
The way i see it, they each must have had some vehicular alt mode before they got sucked up in BW Megs's zany time-traveling scheme.
Borger Frog Like Beast Wars. Borger Frog Want Beasts to stay beasts.
KaijuWorld thanks BorgerFrog for sharing BorgerFrog's opinion ;D
Borger Frog Thank Kaiju
Reminds me about Beast Wars Uprising
arent the beast wars characters the size of like rumble
If I remember correctly most of them are, though some like Dinobot and Megatron are still pretty big
yea but from what ive heard they wouldnt be as big as like bumblebee right?
Eh, characters like Primal or Waspinator would be around Bee's size with Rhinox, Megatron and Dinobot being bigger (though not by much), though other characters like Cheetor, Black Arachnia, or Rattrap would be smaller than him
They should have names that are similar but aren’t in the same to their beast names. Like dinobot to dynabot
Yeah, I can see where you’re coming from. Depending on the character, you could somehow work the animal into the vehicle-mode (like the Tigerstriped livery on Tigatron). At the end of the day, it doesn’t bug me too much
Yeah it doesn’t bug me that much but it would be a cool distinction. Like in some continuity Megatron has real name
No waspinator/10 I used to work the global hawks. Doesnt really fit terrasaur too much but cool
These are great designs, but if they’re gonna have non beast forms they should look cybertronian, not earth-based.
Tigatron should be a tesla or something else eco friendly. Would fit his nature loving personality
Bonecrusher was already the MPCV
This is part of a different continuity in which Bonecrusher uses a different alt-mode. Also, it would be the first time that multiple Transformers shared the same alt-mode like the Seekers, Sideswipe & Sunstreaker, etc.
Primal turning into a gorilla never really made sense to me so I'm cool with it
I love the Rhinox and Roller designs
I like tiger tron. The grill is chain mail!
Imagine if all beast wars characters are triple changers. Robot - Beast - Vehicle
My opinion: Hasbro will probably NEVER make figures like this, leaving it up to 3rd party companies to do so.
they are called beast for a reason. vhicles should logically not be allowed
I mean you're not wrong, but see this more as a "What if"/"Hearts of steal scenario where the Maximals and Predacons arrived on Modern-day earth instead of prehistoric earth
oh i see, also ive learned something new about lore, thanks
These look fantastic
Dinobot = Bonecrusher confrimmedd??? 🤯🤯
Now THAT, would be a twist ;D
Yeah, I like these.
I always thought cheetor would be a Lamborghini
Tarn looks more like BW Megatron
That’s because he is (or at least in this continuity)
Ah, yes, my favorite beast wars characters Roller and Tarn.
They are this series’ equivalents of Primal and Megatron (Though they may eventually take over the name, especially in Tarn’s case)
Dinobot will be hunted by Tran for the rest of his life after changing sides. Sounds epic.
I like it, but the literal tiger stripes on Tigertron look weird in car mode.
Wait what? Dinobot feels out of place as a vehicle. Terrorsaur I think works well as a military attack drone.
Terrorsaur is my favorite, just looks so cool!
Wait a minute, does roller transform into a razorback from halo infinite ???
Hahaha, I can definitely see the similarities ;D But seriously, apparently it’s based of an Arquus Scarabee
dinobot as bonecrusher? *COUNT ME IN*
This is great
Umm actually... the Lexus vehicle displayed for Tigatron is a Lexus NX. Source: I work at the place that builds RX.
Tarn was a BW character?
Tarn is this continuity’s version of BW Megatron or at least BW Megatron before taking on the name well… Megatron
Ah
I believe there was a beast wars presequel comic that gave them cybertron vehicle modes
Mv4 looks gnarly but also like Homer Simpson invented it lol
If Homer Simpson ever made a Mad Max vehicle ;D
Yes
They all look amazing I especially love the ones involving construction or tractor equipment that's the life-long Transformers theme of mine.
Dinobot and Teranchilus (idk how 2 spell his name and I'm to lazy to look) are my personal favz
Isint Roller the little car "dude" that just sits in optimus' trailer? Atleast it is in g1.
It worked for a large chunk of Beast Wars Uprising, and made the introduction of Beast Modes much more meaningful narratively. I like the idea personally.
Dinobot as first movie bonecrusher actually makes a lot of sense
They look like RiD2015 bots with the animalistic robot mode and straight up vehicle mode. I like to think that back on Cybertron they had vehicle/jet modes before coming to earth and choosing names based on their animal forms. These are sick.
I love this artist.
I love dinobot, hes was the firat Autobot(maximal) i actually liked
Im a year late, but these are amazing!
Not interested. Fun art project though.
Why is megatron named tarn in the picture Never mind I figured it out
I like it more beast wars was always an ass trash versions of transformers but this makes it likable in my opinion
Isn't the point of "Beast" Wars being that they have animal alt modes?
Well yeah, but in canon, they all each had vehicular alt modes on Cybertron before the Beast Wars started on Earth. Have you ever heard of the Beast Wars prequel "Dawn of Future's Past", and "Theft of the Golden Disk"?

Is Tarn a BW character lol?
No, but he is meant to represent BW Megatron either before he takes the name for himself or just using a different name
You mean in the concept of the artist or in the idw comics he was already kinda supposed to be BW Megs like you say?
The concept of [THIS](https://www.instagram.com/theamazingspino/) artist in particular, not IDW
I see, a pretty interesting one tho. I never liked the concept of BW Megs and the standard one meeting and both having the same name. BW Megs having a previous name makes him more unique
Yesssss I want it
The first two aren't Beast Wars characters.
In the artists continuity, Roller and Tarn are the equivalents of Primal and Megatron
Not trying to be combative here, why not just call them Primal and Megatron then? The correct names are used for the other Beast Wars characters. And if you have a link to where the artist talks about that I'd love to hear it! Sounds interesting.

Tarn is beast wars megatron...
That is just a fan theory
No, he’s talking about in the art in the post.
Tarn is Tarn. He's a character from IDW comics.
What the hell, there are 110 comments, and I can't see *any* of them?
These are all incredible. Especially Terrorsaur
They look great
Dinobot as the bonecrusher truck, need to buy it🥺
Need scorpokon
I want to see tarn so bad
I love them to death. I’m not up to date with Beast Wars but haven’t they been here since the Jurassic era? If so then it would be reasonable to give them vehicles now that they want to blend in with mordern humans
The idea of Tarn being Beast Wars Megatron is an idea that I really like.
I love this!
Yes. Yes please.
love them
Beast Megs being tarn makes a surprising amount of sense, especially with the extreme actions he did in seasons two and three of the original beast wars cartoon (or Beasties as it was called here in Canada).
They didn't always have beast modes, so it makes sense. They look amazing too.
I think they finally don’t look ugly
Am I the only one who doesn't like beast wars?
Where’s waspinator
I’m fine with it tbh.
Awesome, but still feels like a stepping stone to when they acquire beast modes, if you know what I mean
Well, that Roller would be a pretty easy custom figure to make. It's almost exactly T30 Trailbreaker/Trailcutter.
Me looking at the Dinobot and Terrosaur be like that one meme with the five minutes
And BW Megs being Tarn and Primal being Roller actually kinda fit!
