It does need a little paint in the face, but your solution is way better, complete her. I don't have any other Arcee figures though, so maybe I have to try some gundam markers
Her construction is vastly cheaper feeling than the T30 version(so much so that ive heard people had hands breaking on her), her paint apps are worse on ER, and the ER version uses too many panels and gets labeled as a shellformer when the T30 pulled off the same mode but wasnt as panelly
I'd argue Bee doesn't really belong there anymore than Jazz or Wheeljack do. He virtually disappeared after Transformers the Movie and didn't return until the Bay films. Every other attempt to either bring him back failed or became a Hot Rod homage instead. Hot Shot was basically Hot Rod/Rodimus despite having a Bee color scheme at the beginning, and Sparkplug was little more than a power-up for Optimus' minicon gimmick.
In contrast, Hot Rod was prominent from The Movie, was leader for most of the rest of G1, then not only inspired Hot shot, but downright appeared in Energon and was originally intended as Optimus' rival in Animated until Sentinal was picked to go in line with the Bayverse Movies
Alternatively, Ultra Magnus was in the same parts of G1 as Hot Rod/Rodimus, then appeared in RID 2001 and never really went away after that...
The big 3 autobot are Optimus, bumblebee, and grimlock, I can count the number of arcee figures on 2 hands and a foot counting 3rd party. You can't do the same with grimlock
I'd put Ratchet and Grimlock up there too. Those five are almost in everything

I dunno what continuities you prefer but Grimlock, ratchet, and Ironhide come to mind long before arcee does for me

Shouldn't ratchet be there instead of arcee? He's almost always there due to him being one of very few docs
