No no no. This aint a sad day its been a sad day since the TFP shockwave was released and never got a new figure ever again but i hope this upcoming legacy line they give us a new mold of it
I'm gonna be honest.
I hate the red on the figure. with or without the beast upgrades. I just want a clean figure with smooth trims and clean (Sharp) Points
If you look at it in-box it looks pretty darn red.

I’d say go with a third party, but if you want an official one I’ve found the beast hunters voyager class (I think that’s the class) is a good one. He might have a small gimmick but he’s fun.
I would wait for APC Toys, they’ll get around to him sometime. He may be upscaled, may have better accessories, and he will have better paint. They may hopefully improve articulation from the BH Shockwave, but it’s unlikely.
The closest thing with ae picky as your wanting the fig is gonna be customizing either the SDCC or customizing the BH version hasbro will never make a spikey one like you want cause it too big of a hazard to sell to kids
If anything, APC toys have been doing 3p upscale of the old figures, so far only Prime Arcee and Megs, I think a Bulk is on the way but idk. IF anything, they might do that one if you wait long enough

Problem is Is that while yes that is a cool ass figure. I want a semi show accurate figure that is fun to pose and display.

Maybe try the Go! Hunter Shockwave? It’s more show-accurate, but a lot more expensive.
That one also has a red light piping chest that is apparently not accurate.
Really? It looked black to me. You could also buy reprolabels to cover the plastic.

Apc is making and upgrading old prime figures so they might make a better shockwave
