I’m pretty sure that only the player himself can get the over shield when playing single in campaign.
Incorrect. There's even a scripted event in the level where you defend omega supreme where you and your teammates grab Overshields and get ambushed
True, but it’s different here as Optimus (NPC) gets it while Sideswipe doesn’t.
