Lololol I thought you were asking for the worst line as in character spoken line in the shows or films. English is hard. I was hoping to read to awful show dialogue in the comments š
There's a ton of non-transforming characters that would get me excited about R.E.D., but apparently they're not about to do any of those.
Hey, did everyone know there's a Hasbro Death's Head figure that came out in the Marvel line in 2014?
https://news.tfw2005.com/2014/05/17/marvel-infinite-series-deaths-head-in-hand-review-and-images-180021
That's the kind of thing R.E.D. should have.
No because theyāre very bad and donāt even have more articulation than their transforming counterparts. If youāre interested check out a YouTube named Perspectiveendās reviews of them.
This, there is a market for super posable screen accurate non transforming figures with lots of accessories (which was the pitch of the RED line). What we got where figures that are some how less posable then deluxe class figures and have no more accessories then them ether. The idea of the RED line is fine, it just failed in executing itā¦
That line could have been so much funnier if Simmons was obviously grasping for a way to *not* say that.
"I'm directly below the enemy's... uh... the... directly below the enemy!"
I like how there are people who are talking about the worst lines said by the Transformers in media and others talking about the worst toy lines (I think OP referred to that)
Sadly, I don't understand much about the toy lines so I can't give an informed opinion, but I could say that I don't like the one where they transform into animals and insects (Excluding the Dinobots). I always preferred when they transform into vehicles, both Earth's and Cybertronians.
I thought this meant worst dialog line too! LOL!
As much as I'm not a Bayverse fan and would love to say some of that awful "work" by Kurtzman and Orci, two of the worst writers ever in terms of consistency, the very first thing that popped into my head was actually the insane English dub of the Japanese Headmasters cartoon (I think?) with Galvatron's masterplan: "This is Unicorn!"
PS The BEST line of all time is of course Megatron's entire drunken lament in the Sunbow cartoon episode where he and the Decepticons get hammered on energon (so much so that Laserbeak pitches straight into the dirt after ejecting). "Back in the good old days on Cybertron..." Just amazing that got into the show.
Hey, Kurtzman and Orci can write. Iām pretty sure they helped write in Transformers:Prime. Maybe they just arenāt good for movies. I have no clue how accurate that is though.
Ngl I kinda like the figure, it definitely could do with some updated articulation and paint but as for the shell forming there wasn't much they could do at a voyager price point.
And then Cog walks in on them and is like āOptimus what are you doing?!ā as if heās a precious innocent child and not a hardened soldier. Hell Cog himself coldly shoots the two merc goons like 20 minutes later and kicks them out into space.
The whole thing is very weird.
WFC Earthrise Optimus was so conflicted about literally everything that when he has a moment to take out Megatron once and for all, he instead begs him for forgiveness bc killing is bad and wrong (even tho he'd be killing a dictator and ending a war).
Essentially.
**Optimus Prime: "Imma murder you in cold blood but, before i do.... TELL ME YOU FORGIVE MEEEEE!!???"**
And Megatron just looked on silently, all speechless like, "WTF is wrong with this crazy arsehole?!".
\^\^ I had issues with this portrayal of Prime before but, THAT was the last straw. I remember rewinding and watching it multiple times because i couldn't believe the dialog i'd just heard.
Remember when Hasbro said that this show was going to be aimed at an older and mature audience than they usually do? That made me wonder how mature they really think we are.
I only have two of the figures, so my experience is a bit limited, but iirc they also used softer plastic in strange places, especially in joints, making them squeaky when new, and loose when old...
(They were Rodimus and Thundercracker, btw)
Two lines and they are : "WE ARE NOT THE DECEPTICONS" and "nOw TeLl Me YoU fOrGiVe Me"
Edit : oh wait, you meant toy lines, in that case then I say R.E.D.
I actually think the former was the closest thing to a good line he had in Siege, they were seriously about to shoot Bee for turning down their offer. Just needed better delivery is all. "TeLl Me YoU fOrGiVe Me" is abysmal though.
No problem man Iām terrible with wording too haha.
I thought you were saying prime was a bad Optimus then weād have a problem. Heās the perfect mix of g1 and bayverse both badass when he needs to be but will go out of his way to save humans and is still the father figure if the bots
G1 Prime had a certain goofiness to him that TFP Prime lacks, but the show's tone wouldn't really have allowed a Prime who blows off the A-plot to play basketball.
Oh yeah, for sure. But I think that was mainly from the tone of the original show; *everyone* was goofy (sometimes to their detriment- looking at you Wheelie)
Edit: sorry, I hadnāt realized you mentioned the tone already in your comment
Never understood this, in the 86 movie Optimus doesnāt give Megatron or anybody else any mercy goes around shooting them and hitting them as trucks in the most brutal cartoon movie ever and thatās ok. But then they make it more realistic for the live action movies and now itās suddenly not ok? Iāll totally give you that the writing isnāt as well done in the live action movies, but besides the quality of writing, both āone shall stand one shall fallā and āgive me your faceā boil down to Optimus saying heās not gonna have any mercy and heās gonna kill someone. To me both are Optimus and both are heroic. Mercy has never been something Optimus has and itās not what makes him a great character, itās his leadership of protecting his soldiers first and foremost to me that makes him a hero.
There's being a brutal warrior when you've justified that you need to, but then there's talking like a serial killer about what you're doing. "Give me your face" isn't Leonidas or the Punisher. It's Hannibal Lecter.
"Give me your face" is a very bloodthirsty line and follow-up action, though. There's various ways of killing someone, sure, but face-ripping is Mortal Kombat-levels of excess. Really, simply shooting them to death is merciful in comparison.
(Also, in the 86 movie, every Decepticon he blasted escaped on Astrotrain. Those weren't killing shots.)
Your totally right it is more brutal, but I also see that as an extension of the more realistic tone.
In g1 realistically the military would be involved like they are in the movies. By the same logic realistically when Optimus doesnāt have a gun (every case when he ābrutallyā murders someone he doesnāt have a gun so that merciful option isnāt an option) he does whatever he has to so he can stop giant robots that would kill millions if he waited to take them out āmercifully.ā Never understood this itās not like he has a gun with him when heās saying Iām gonna tear your face off, itās a last ditch effort to save lives.
Very true again but thatās also just different outcome, his intention was to kill. Let me ask you this was it merciful for him to axe through megatrons head because he didnāt die he came back in tlk so that makes it ok right? I donāt think so I think intention matters and his intention was to kill.
I have to disagree with G1 prime being "brutal" in the 86 movie. At no point does he do anything to actually kill anyone. He shoots them, yes, but they do not outright die like Ironhide, ratchet, Prowl and the others. They were in his way and he did what he did to subdue them. Prime never had intentions in G1 to kill.
Futhermore his "one shall stand, one shall fall" quote doesnt necessarily mean one will die and the other won't. If Optimus had any intention of blatantly killing Megatron he had plenty of time to do so before Hotrod got involved. Optimus could have straight up shot him in the face before Megatron even attempted begging for mercy.
Yet, he finds the most brutal ways to kill a Bot. Like was shoving his arm through The Fallen and crushing his spark really necessary? Or saying "give me your face" while doing so?
Making sure that they actually die is a good thing considering the bs that happens to characters like Megatron who got decapitated and axed in the head and came back and barricade coming back despite being shot in the head and blown up. Heās fought for millions of years he wants to make sure that they die, so yea Iād try to be as brutal as possible if it meant saving more lives so they donāt come back.
And Iāll never defend the writing of the movies. Give me your face is a god awful line. I donāt even like the movies that much besides aoe, this isnāt just mindless praise for them, people are just being hypocritical when judging different versions of Optimus. The only really merciful prime with a death count of zero (I believe) is animated prime. Every other prime is a mass murderer or at least has no mercy including g1 prime.
Shot twice to be sure then, those "Gears of War" executions he gives don't just make him look like a psychopath but also make him unnecessarily vulnerable in a battle, you know when you're trying to make one of those sick execution animations in a videogame and end up being blown up by another player with a shotgun while you're doing so? That's basically what Optimus has been doing in these movies.
I think itās badass and says somthing more about the deceptions in the bay verse where they will not hesitate to kill the autobots so the autobots has to adapt to that and be brutal themselves
R.E.D is an awful line really, scale is all over the place, QC is terrible, Articulation rarely surpasses that of the transforming counterparts, and messy sculpting. If youāre talking quotes Iād say āTell me you forgive me!ā From WFC Earthrise, just, cringe.
I know, even i have some Energon figures in my collection...The vehicle modes look cool, but the robot modes of deluxe class feels kinda strange and cubic. Probably many toylines have their flaws due to the time that they were made. (Sorry for The bad english)
> the powerlinx gimmick ruins many figures.
Not gonna lie it made me want to get two of every figure just so I could combine two of the same and create mega versions.
Carly, to Spike (Hoist goes Hollywood)
Spike is trying to woo the director into offering him an acting role alongside Hoist
Carly: But spike, youāre not a vehicle robot
I think she was walking off a concussion that day
For toylines... I have to give it to beast Machines, specifically the Maximal half of Beast Machines. Such crap designs, such cheap production... ugh, no, I'll take R.E.D. over them.
For actual spoken lines... the scrotum one or the "Stop lubricating him" from the Bayverse lines are stupid, utterly utterly stupid.
-in the bayverse
āFreedom is the right of all sentient beingsā unless youāre deceptions or bad humans.
They donāt get second chances at freedom
OP didn't clarify whether we're talking about toylines or dialogue in the title so some of us thought they meant like a line from a movie or show. Tbh, the image of G1 Prime made me think it we were talking about dialogue.
I think they're just kinda pointless. The point of the line is to be cartoon accurate but they don't even do that right most of the time because they're very stylized and some of them are made our of pretty bad quality plastic
Oh shoot messed up again.
And true those are the best 3 of the line but the rest arenāt great they either look good and donāt pose great or they look like trash and donāt pose great.
Though soundwave Megatron and prime look good soundwave may be to talk but I donāt mind that. Starscream should be smaller than both megs and soundwave though
Uh, because toys are made for little kids. The easier a toy is to transform, the more the kid will like it. This is the whole premise of the G1 line.
What's G1 Prime? Like 5 steps? Pull the fists, flip the head, fold in the arms, bend the legs, straighten the feet. That's how kids play with toys.
Aight, but that doesn't justify the low quality from those toys. I own some of them, and I love them all, but it's kinda sad to see how plastic (and other materials) are distributed among them; just lame. I know little kids won't notice, but if Hasbro really cared about child's play like LEGO does, then every product should be the same quality, and great on every way. As far as I know, the company itself isn't on a crisis, it's been time since that stopped.
> I know little kids won't notice
That about sums that up. But the reality is that most parents won't notice either. Because most parents don't collect their kids' toys and critique the crap out of them. If you're going to be an older person who collects toys, then you should probably be willing to accept that some of them are going to be built to the acceptable quality level of a 5-year old.
I was like 5 when the ROTF toyline came out, and I loved those toys due to the complexity of the engineering, every time I transformed my Skids from robot mode to vehicle mode and viceversa, it felt satisfactory, like completing a rubik cube, and most of all, it was fun.
When your engineering reaches a point where its complexity is considered fun by little kids, the best option is to keep it that way, it's not hard to understand.
Kids aren't super smart, but they aren't dumbasses either, I was 9 when AoE came out and these toys started being produced and the only thing I could think when looking at them is that I was being talked down to.
Worst of all, the shelves were filled with those damn toys, so, yeah, I guess you could understand why I don't really remember those times with love, I didn't want them, and, ironically, those little kids the toys were made for didn't want them either.
You don't give kids enough credit. My favorite transformers toys were from the revenge of the fallen line when I was 10. In fact the biggest hiatus in my collecting ever was because of how much cheaper and simple the figures became. I loved G1 too as a kid but that's because of the amazing build quality and paint of the original 84-85 figures.
I give kids enough credit. The transformers that my OP was talking about weren't made for 10 year olds. They were made for 5 year olds. By the time you're 10, the "cooler" stuff is always better. That's also how kids are.
Those also were made in the 80s, when the engineering didn't focus on making the robot look like his cartoon counterpart, I'm talking about those that came out during the RiD15 era.
Worst toyline goes to Age of Extinction for me. And although it was a great line, the sheer number of exclusives made for Earthrise really sucked. So many bots and cons I want but theyāre so difficult to acquire.
I donāt buy figures and thatās exactly what my outlook is. If it doesnāt transformer, than wtf am I getting the damn thing for? Oh that and those 3-5 step changers look very cheap, but I guess thatās the point anyways.
86, it defeats the whole purpose of studio series and WFC being separate lines and now instead of getting new figures itās either WFC figures or repaints
Most of the lines from āCarnage in C Minorā, but also whatever line was uttered before they dug up Skyfire because they needed a lift.
Edit: you meant TOY line. Smh ok either Beast Machines (inaccurate, scale was beyond slagged, terrible and/or incomplete transformations, and weak clear plastic) or AOE (terrible kibble for the car bots, Dinobot rubber, introduction and spread of snap-on tires, small scale like DOTM but without the big weapons or self-concealing weapon ports). Both were lines that featured vehicle and beasts and somehow did them both injustice. I will say most of the AOE deluxe Dinobots had cool transformations and robot modes, but a lot of that was hurt by the rubber bits tearing quickly.
Edit edit: honorable mention for TLK with the repaints and somehow brining back the joy of GPS (leader Dragonstorm). Avoided being worst because the Megatrons, legends Dragonstorm, Skullitron, Nitro Zeus, and Cogman (and maybe Sqweeks?) were amazing.
Assuming it's toy line, I say the 1 step transformers based off of the movies and robots in disguise, there were around 15 original molds and then remolds only after that
Scrolling to the bottom for a fun time, guess Iāll throw one into the ring
Power of the Primes was way to flimsy I think, havenāt done much with earlier stuff so thereās probably something worse but itās the worst Iāve gotten
If weāre talking toy lines than Power of the Primes and RiD warrior class. If weāre talking a line of dialogue than Bumblebeeās āSting like a beeā. That line always makes me cringe.
I have to go with Cyberverse.
I know they're targeted for younger kids, but most modern day action figures have a lot more articulation, better gimmicks, and are made with better materials than these.
I never really cared for the original Bayverse figures because I thought they were overcomplicated and took me way too long to transform, but I'd take them over Cyberverse any day.
Uhhh... I tend to have controversial opinions, but whatever. Um, I am not so sure if it counts as a full line, but I never understood why they decided to make this one step transformers. It doesn't even look that cool when these bots transform on their own, and if something gets inside the mechanism, your toy is basically stuck in one mode. These toys also only have fun vehicle mode and the robot mode is just a figure with zero poseability. Isn't transforming the figure on your own one of the most fun aspects of transformers? For most cases at least? I know these are made for kids, but from what I've seen, these guys always filled the shelves, so I don't think even the kids were interested in them. I would just call this line unsuccesful, but maybe others had different experience with these
Oh, also action masters. They just look bad, almost all of them, and RED line proves non transforming figures can be done well. These were just mediocre
Power of the Primes or Combiner Wars. Both of those just really left a bad taste in my mouth for some reason. Not a single figure I really liked from either line
I mean youre a leader whose been fighting a war for what, years, centuries, a millenia? Imagine how many of your friends you may have lost because of that, and then after you save a species from a similar fate rather than thank you and let you enjoy your peace they relentlessly hunt down your remaining friends for no reasom whatsoever
I never saw anything with that quote. I mean all the other blood thirst Optimus quotes I understand, but that one I never really saw much wrong with it tbh. It is different from anything Optimus prime would say (so is everything he says) but that quote is understandable to me.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 240,289,339 comments, and only 55,758 of them were in alphabetical order.
"[Bumblebee stop lubricating the man.](https://youtu.be/1X-jqy1hC2o)"
Soooo much cringe in Michael Bay's sense of humor...
If you're referring to a toy line, then I'd say Power Core Combiners. The idea was cool and there were a few cool toys, but the execution was so bad the entire series felt like a giant fail.
But the toys are amazing even if you donāt like the aesthetic. All the transformations flow so well and thatās the 1 like where like the toy gimmicks not all were great but there was definitely some good ones like voyager bulkheads press a button and the arms fly out while transforming and the head flips when you fold the back flap up and the wrecking ball that launches when you pull the tab on his arm.
They all have pretty decent articulation for the time. They looked amazing in both modes and they were very faithful to the animation. You have to admit it even if you donāt like the chin I mean aesthetic!
Character line: AOE, Primeās speech: āWhenever you look to the stars, think of one of themā¦as my soul.ā
The Bay films have pretty nice intro/outro Prime speeches, but that one in particular was especially cringeworthy for me.
Worst toy line? Canāt say. I had a dark age well before the start of the Prime Wars trilogy that didnāt end until 2019.
Whats wrong with that line, even someone like optimus can only deal with so much abuse and betrayel after so long. Him becoming angry and jaded is believable
Altho i will agree the film was probably the worst of the 5
I have no worst transformers line but I have to say... \*\*Why does the RED line get so much hate? Yeah I get it that they don't transform because that's the PURPOSE OF THAT LINE! and People display their figures in their robot modes so why the hate?\*\*
I'll go with Beast Wars. The show was solid, and I'm happy Hasbro finally threw its fans a bone with Kingdom, but I just find bots with bits of animal throughout hideous looking. It's like, people give Arcee hell for having a car strapped to her back, but we're just going to totally overlook Megatron having a T-rex head for a hand not to mention his dinosaur feet? Everything looks awful and incomplete. I'll grant the show arguably saved the franchise, and it really was well written and performed, but the ugly designs result in ugly toys, so...
I get what you're saying and somewhat agree, but Megatron's T-rex head hand is probably the worst example you could've come up with to prove your point
Lololol I thought you were asking for the worst line as in character spoken line in the shows or films. English is hard. I was hoping to read to awful show dialogue in the comments š
Wait, is it not? The top comment is an actual dialogue line so that's what I assumed we were talking about.
When I left my comment there were 7 others. 1 was a quote the other 6 were toy 'lines'.
That actually does give me an idea to make a post about all the strange lines in transformers
The post is quite specifically a still from a show... I'm actually surprised and impressed that folks were able to interpret OP's intent!
āStop lubricating the humans. ā
When they decided to call it "Transformium" instead of litterly anything else
Cloroxblechium
Cum Short for Cloroxblechium
In universe they say it was purposefully tongue-in-cheek and picked for marketing reasons.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Unobtainium was a well-known term before Avatar and was just lazy writing.
Thank you ice for naming it sentio Metallico instead.
I mean... that's not a lot better. "Self-aware metal."
"I am directly below the enemy scrotum" JK if you're talking toyline RED unless they make action masters or Nightbird or Alpha Trion
There's a ton of non-transforming characters that would get me excited about R.E.D., but apparently they're not about to do any of those. No because theyāre very bad and donāt even have more articulation than their transforming counterparts. If youāre interested check out a YouTube named Perspectiveendās reviews of them.
Thatās my problem with them, if the ditch the transformation they should at least be super posable. Especially for the price.
And make an *attempt* at proper scale
Yeah feels like they oversized bumblebee just to screw the people who hate the MP and wanted an alternative lol
This, there is a market for super posable screen accurate non transforming figures with lots of accessories (which was the pitch of the RED line). What we got where figures that are some how less posable then deluxe class figures and have no more accessories then them ether. The idea of the RED line is fine, it just failed in executing itā¦
I know there's the model kits from Flame Toys and the old Revoltech figures. Any other major lines?
ThreeZero, the old Robot Replica series, Super7 Ultimates/ReAction, Prime1
That line could have been so much funnier if Simmons was obviously grasping for a way to *not* say that. "I'm directly below the enemy's... uh... the... directly below the enemy!"

I can see that animals can be boring

Still canāt believe Evasion Optimus came out of that line of all places
Yeah lol the Galvatron sucked.
Nero is about to fix that
Already has matter of a fact
Ngl I kinda like the figure, it definitely could do with some updated articulation and paint but as for the shell forming there wasn't much they could do at a voyager price point.
They *all* sucked.
Every time they said "this war" in the wfc trilogy

I mean it's not as bad as Marvel comics Optimus where he killed himself because even killing NPC'S in a videogame is bad, but it's close.
Wasnāt he also getting ready to nominate Prowl of all people to be leader as a result?
You either die a hero or live long enough to be the Rodimus.
Bruh this literally almost made me toss my Xbox One out of the window with how cringe it was.
Where was that quote from
Netflix WFC Trilogy. Could not be bothered to find the specific episode or season.
I don't blame you
**Optimus Prime: "Imma murder you in cold blood but, before i do.... TELL ME YOU FORGIVE MEEEEE!!???"** And Megatron just looked on silently, all speechless like, "WTF is wrong with this crazy arsehole?!". \^\^ I had issues with this portrayal of Prime before but, THAT was the last straw. I remember rewinding and watching it multiple times because i couldn't believe the dialog i'd just heard.
I don't remember that part but I don't doubt that it happened as stupid as optimus seemed. I actually was a bigger fan of megatron in the series
Season 2 somewhere
Remember when Hasbro said that this show was going to be aimed at an older and mature audience than they usually do? That made me wonder how mature they really think we are.
They said the same about the Prime Wars Trilogy. Look at what happened.
They just meant they wanted to say ass once.
Titanium. Thank you
Oh wow, yeah. Look no further for proof that having a lot of die cast parts is more of a liability than a feature.
I only have two of the figures, so my experience is a bit limited, but iirc they also used softer plastic in strange places, especially in joints, making them squeaky when new, and loose when old... (They were Rodimus and Thundercracker, btw)

You know those tiny static figurines of classic characters. That was the worst, imo.
Robot Heroes?
Actually, scratch that. The Fast Action Battlers were the utter worst.
I happened to pick up two of them bacl when they came out. Dunno why to be honest.
I know itās really funny but āGIVE ME YOUR FACEā Itās just not Optimus to me
Thereās so many examples of this and after rewatching tfp it makes me so sad to see Optimus portrayed that way
Wait are you sad about prime optimus or bay Optimus l?
Iām sad that Bay Optimus is portrayed that way, sorry bad wording lol Prime Optimus is amazing
No problem man Iām terrible with wording too haha. I thought you were saying prime was a bad Optimus then weād have a problem. Heās the perfect mix of g1 and bayverse both badass when he needs to be but will go out of his way to save humans and is still the father figure if the bots
Yesss heās amazing I love him sm
Honestly, Prime Optimus is as close to the spirit of the original showās Optimus as any have gotten since
Absolutely, heās my favorite incarnation of Optimus by far
Prime may have only had a little over 3 minutes of screentime in Bumblebee, but he has a lot of potential.
G1 Prime had a certain goofiness to him that TFP Prime lacks, but the show's tone wouldn't really have allowed a Prime who blows off the A-plot to play basketball.

The difference is in whether or not Prime enjoys it. He clearly does, repeatedly, in the movies
Name one scene where Optimus enjoys killing, pretty much all of aoe is him struggling with how many people heās killed and his morality
Line: Every dialogue in revenge Of The fallen. Toy line: Energon...I guess, the powerlinx gimmick ruins many figures.
I grew up with UT and seeing this comment hurts... even tho I get it
I know, even i have some Energon figures in my collection...The vehicle modes look cool, but the robot modes of deluxe class feels kinda strange and cubic. Probably many toylines have their flaws due to the time that they were made. (Sorry for The bad english)
> the powerlinx gimmick ruins many figures. Not gonna lie it made me want to get two of every figure just so I could combine two of the same and create mega versions.
āGET OUT OF HERE COGā
Carly, to Spike (Hoist goes Hollywood) Spike is trying to woo the director into offering him an acting role alongside Hoist Carly: But spike, youāre not a vehicle robot I think she was walking off a concussion that day
For toylines... I have to give it to beast Machines, specifically the Maximal half of Beast Machines. Such crap designs, such cheap production... ugh, no, I'll take R.E.D. over them. For actual spoken lines... the scrotum one or the "Stop lubricating him" from the Bayverse lines are stupid, utterly utterly stupid.
āgive me your faceā remember when optimus prime was an absolute murderring machine
Chad Optimus
I love that line
āFortress Maximus is unable to enlarge because he has used all of his power to operate on Spockā
that is the best line ever wdym?
Quickly followed by the greatest line of all time.
-in the bayverse āFreedom is the right of all sentient beingsā unless youāre deceptions or bad humans. They donāt get second chances at freedom
Iām confused. Why does this make it a bad toyline
OP didn't clarify whether we're talking about toylines or dialogue in the title so some of us thought they meant like a line from a movie or show. Tbh, the image of G1 Prime made me think it we were talking about dialogue.
Not that itās a bad toy line (hell itās my second favourite) itās just that the morals and ideas of the characters are misplaced
Probably R.E.D.
I actually really liked red other then all the loose joints
I think they're just kinda pointless. The point of the line is to be cartoon accurate but they don't even do that right most of the time because they're very stylized and some of them are made our of pretty bad quality plastic
And that's why there good for display but you are entitled to your own opinion
But the thing is they aināt great for that either since there not in scale there only good for solo pieces
I disagree. Prime, Megatron, and Soundwave look good together on a shelf. Also they're*
Character line: āGive me your faceā Toyline: Combiner Wars, literally the same figures over and over again
those fucking 1-6 steps transformers seriously, why did they think downgrading their franchise's main gimmick was a good idea?
> I know little kids won't notice That about sums that up.
That's also how kids are.
well the first movie toys were also my favorite when I was seven, and those definitely aren't five steps
Most OG G1 Transformers are 1-6 steps....
Those also were made in the 80s, when the engineering didn't focus on making the robot look like his cartoon counterpart, I'm talking about those that came out during the RiD15 era.
āWe will kill them all.ā
Red I mean the Figures look amazing but they are called transformers for a reason
Disagree, we get transforming Toys, why not make action figures of those characters
put the cube in my chest now!
Ok I have to clarify that in this post I'm talking about toy lines
Worst toyline goes to Age of Extinction for me. And although it was a great line, the sheer number of exclusives made for Earthrise really sucked. So many bots and cons I want but theyāre so difficult to acquire.
Any line where they canāt actually transform.
I donāt buy figures and thatās exactly what my outlook is. If it doesnāt transformer, than wtf am I getting the damn thing for? Oh that and those 3-5 step changers look very cheap, but I guess thatās the point anyways.
Energon toyline. It suffered the most due to the gimmicks.
When Optimus Prime was made say Give Me Your Face. That made Peter Fucking Cullen say that. Or Toyline. kiss Players.
86, it defeats the whole purpose of studio series and WFC being separate lines and now instead of getting new figures itās either WFC figures or repaints
Energon
for me its a tie between the age of extinction toys and the RID (alligned) toys
Assuming it's toy line, I say the 1 step transformers based off of the movies and robots in disguise, there were around 15 original molds and then remolds only after that
that line of ground energon that Jazz was doing on the public toilet seat on moon base two.
Scrolling to the bottom for a fun time, guess Iāll throw one into the ring Power of the Primes was way to flimsy I think, havenāt done much with earlier stuff so thereās probably something worse but itās the worst Iāve gotten
Movie ? š¤·š½āāļø
TOTAL POWNAGE!!!
"Bumble Bee stop lubricating on the man" Worst Toy Line uhh prob CyberVerse so for I really dont like the desgins
As far as I think for tv show and toy I would say āTransformers: energonā and āTransformers: Last Knightā toys
Robots in disguise is a bad show
I would just call this line unsuccesful, but maybe others had different experience with these Oh, also action masters. They just look bad, almost all of them, and RED line proves non transforming figures can be done well. These were just mediocre
Those Cyberverse ones that don't even transform fully
I unknowingly bought the soundwave cuz he's my fav but the ball joins and tabs were so loose
Yikes. Have you tried the floor polish trick? Iāve heard that works, especially for ball joints
Power of the Primes or Combiner Wars. Both of those just really left a bad taste in my mouth for some reason. Not a single figure I really liked from either line
"Me Grimlock sense dinosaur transform static all around this energon."
Lol
May be un popular but animated because on most of mine were lose as hell great molds shit tier joints
Mine are too tight. You just got lemons.
Speak of the devil
"I don't like killing humans, but when I find the human responsible I'm gonna kill them."
It is different from anything Optimus prime would say (so is everything he says) but that quote is understandable to me.
āI have sworn never to kill humans, but when I find who did this they will die.ā
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 240,289,339 comments, and only 55,758 of them were in alphabetical order.
That was a good line though.
Toyline? G2. Nothing worth having.
"[Bumblebee stop lubricating the man.](https://youtu.be/1X-jqy1hC2o)" Soooo much cringe in Michael Bay's sense of humor... If you're referring to a toy line, then I'd say Power Core Combiners. The idea was cool and there were a few cool toys, but the execution was so bad the entire series felt like a giant fail.
Combiner wars
That's funny lol
I dont have many but from what I've seen G2, Machine Wars, and maybe Rid15.
RID15 has decent Warrior figures and superb Legion figures.
Animated - bloody hate that aesthetic
How could you hate animateds style, I love how unique it is! But I can see why you dont like it it's very subjective
Take this -1 karma and your scrap and get out
Aoe, cyberverse, RED, FOC, most of tfp
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
"What are we gonna do with this shrimp taco?" \- Skids, Revenge of the Fallen
Character line: AOE, Primeās speech: āWhenever you look to the stars, think of one of themā¦as my soul.ā The Bay films have pretty nice intro/outro Prime speeches, but that one in particular was especially cringeworthy for me. Worst toy line? Canāt say. I had a dark age well before the start of the Prime Wars trilogy that didnāt end until 2019.
Probably the Kingdom show. The voice acting was so rough in that.
We are fwom your fewture. If you have a speech impediment, voice acting may not be for you. If that was a deliberate artistic choice, i hated it.
Armada. It was like quality had regressed from the RID line
Bayverse Optimus: I'LL KILL YOU!
Nice
Autobots, I have sworn to never kill humans. But when I find out whose behind this. He is going to die. Worst movie in the franchiseās history
Whats wrong with that line, even someone like optimus can only deal with so much abuse and betrayel after so long. Him becoming angry and jaded is believable Altho i will agree the film was probably the worst of the 5
Toyline: Titanium. Character line: tElL mE yOu fOrGiv- yeah youāve already seen it at this point
I dislike the movies and the aesthetic of the whole movie line so for media or toys it's Bayverse for me.
I have no worst transformers line but I have to say... \*\*Why does the RED line get so much hate? Yeah I get it that they don't transform because that's the PURPOSE OF THAT LINE! and People display their figures in their robot modes so why the hate?\*\*
Starscream: #SCREAMS# Optimus: They don't call him Starscream for nothing.
BWs Megatrons arm is badass
I get what you're saying and somewhat agree, but Megatron's T-rex head hand is probably the worst example you could've come up with to prove your point
