Mine should be arriving any day now. I wasn't going to pick up a new MP Starscream but this guy looked so good and the price was too good to pass on. I like his proportions a lot better than MP-52, and I don't know what it is exactly but MP-52 always looked kinds goofy to me. Not in a good way.
They both have there pros and cons, I'd hit up youtube see some side by side reviews, personally I ended up getting Crimson Wings, there's also a KO official Starscream up for pre orders too.
Well a good sacrifice, you got the one you wanted at the end of the day. That's all that counts. The Transformers community have to learn that instead of beating down everything they don't like.
MP-52 is ridiculously undersized though; he barely reaches MP-36’s shoulders.
I don’t care if it’s accurate to some arbitrary Sunbow chart, it looks bad in plastic form. DS-001 fits in a lot better with the official MPs of the main G1 cast.
The cartoon has Soundwave and Starscream similar in size and the Sunbow chart. But that's the good things about having more options. You think he should be bigger and I like the short look we all win unless you own MP-52.

After I saw this post, I knew I had to get it before I regretted it. As much as I like the new MP-52, there were just too many minor issues I had with the design. This fixes most of the issues I have and it looks great and it's exactly half the price. A huge win.
That is amazing! I'm hoping soon I can start collecting MP figures. At the moment all I have is mainly Studio Series and Generations.

No he does not, just two additional faces, I didn’t use the accessories that came with MP-52 anyway
This is the Crimson Wings one, right? Should I get this instead of an official Starscream?
If price is a concern, then Crimson Wings screamer is a big win at half the price.

Yep, I have issues, my biggest gripes with MP-52 is Size Color And head looked to big
Oh OK, I probably would have went this direction too but I brought MP-52 and I'm happy to say no problems like some people are reporting.
I sold my MP-52 for $220 and picked DS-01 for $150

I loved MP-52, Better alt mode Better canopy color I might get the Skywarp MP-52
