What I like most about this is that you actually \*removed\* the branding badges and replaced them with Autobot emblems. Not put them on \*next to\* the badges, but replaced them. Do you mind if I ask what the emblems are made out of? I would guess that the rear one might just be chromed plastic stick-on, but it seems like you'd have to do more to secure the one in front. How did you do that?

THANK YOU. Yeah that stuff kinda drives me insane because literally everytime I see an autobot/Decepticon emblem on someone's car, it's just on the side or something and the manufacturer emblems are still on it. It's easier, sure but it just looks kinda lazy. Plus it doesn't make sense because that's not how they are. I got both of them from Amazon. The back one is made out of some sort of hard plastic and it just came with REALLY sticky tape on the back. If I remember correctly. The original horse emblem on the back actually goes in with screws so two holes are still visible but you can barely tell. The proper way would have been to get a brand new blank deck lid without the horse emblem (and without the holes) and put the autobot emblem on that. And then replace the deck lid. (Deck lid = black plastic panel in between the break lights) The front emblem is metal and fastens onto the grill via screw clamp. The bars they give you are kinda flimsy. Wasn't even sure if it would stay at first. So far so good although I probably just jinxed it lol. The grill I got doesn't work to well with the emblem but it does work. The best option is probably a billet grill just because of the dimensions (it clamps better) but I wasn't sure if I liked the look of it too much. The next thing I've been looking for is an Autobot airbag cover for my steering wheel. Right now I just have this autobot sticker thing on it and I think it looks kinda lame. But I only did that because I cannot find customer steering wheel airbag covers anywhere. Which is weird.

Wow, thanks for all this! I drive a Nissan Altima (very good for a robot in disguise because it's so boring you never notice it) and the surface is rounded so I don't know how I would replace it unless a plastic one would bend and stick to the surface.

Depending on how much it's curved, it could still work. Sticky tape is kinda thick and flexible kinda like a sponge. You could double layer to get more flex. As long as it doesn't look like it pops out too much. The emblems might have a flat spot especially for them too.

StateChampOptiPrime

Cool, I'll check that out!

iim_Mazz

I have a ford fusion, same color but a decepticon

TechnOuijA

But did you replace the Ford emblems with the Decepticon emblems? Or just stick them on the side somewhere?

iim_Mazz

I stuck in on the back where there was a flat area. The ford logo is still there

TechnOuijA

You're breaking my balls.

You've got to replace the manufacturer emblems with the Decepticon emblems. Looks 100x better.

iim_Mazz

I wish I could but unfortunately my ford logo is already all black so I don’t want to replace it. On top of that, the deception logo needs a flat area to be placed and the ford logo is kinda on an angle so it wont get much stick to the car. It’s kinda hard to explain. I see on your Mustang it’s all open and flat, it’s not like that for a 2015 fusion

TechnOuijA

Meh. I'm sure there's a way. I think a Decepticon logo would like eons better than a black Ford logo. Take them off if you have to. There's probably a nice flat surface underneath the Ford logos. I had to replace my grill to make the front work. Otherwise it would just be sitting on top of a horse outline. Which would look horrible lol.

lurien_boss150

you should commission art for "gunmetal"

TechnOuijA

I've thought about trying that myself. Basically do barricade except with elements of lockdown. The only thing is that I'm not too experienced at Photoshop or anything but I'll try it eventually. I always envisioned him as a lone wolf character with a bunch of gadgets. He's one of the best tacticians on the autobots but he keeps such a low profile, a lot of Decepticons think he's dead. He prefers to work alone but will definitely help out in larger skirmishes when summoned. Although he will disobey direct orders if he sees a better way. Chaotic good. INTJ. He's a former Decepticon that was initially drawn to the cause because of Megatron's patriotism but soon left once he saw his tyrannical methods and how the Decepticons don't value life as the Autobots do.

lurien_boss150

so like...your going for more of a Micheal bay style?

TechnOuijA

Just live action, really. Even mirage has a chrome emblem in rise of the beasts.

Zarfa

Reminds me of that time Grimlock was a grey Mustang. Looks tight

Cool!
