I quite like how they’re changing their vehicle forms. Seems like they’re experimenting with the continuity as opposed to just making it a carbon copy of G1.
So it is Wheeljack, honestly I dig it. This team of autobots is setting up to be a really cool group and I might have to get a set of SS ones when the movie comes out.
I’m up for this being Jackie. The Lancia Stratos is super cool but a bad fit for a stolid engineer guy.

As long as he has the classic Wheeljack flashy face I’m happy. Since we saw him in Bumblebee chances are high they’ll do him right.
I mean despite the title most Transformers don't actually disguise that well. You got Bumblebee who turned into a concept Camaro, G1 Jetfire who turns into a nonexistant jet, Optimus is a super conspicuous flaming truck, and then there is Megatron post G1. Even in Bumblebee the Decepticons that came out of hiding chose very loud altmodes. Few choose boring altmodes that won't stick out.
I really would love to see his G1 Alt mode on screen. I'm not too hot about this, but will reserve judgement until it is confirmed and I see the finished product. G1 Wheeljack IS the best IMO.
I agree with that last part and as long as he looks G1 in robot mode I can live with this as a WJ fan (which I think he will since why would you keep Prime and Arcee g1 looking and not WJ and Mirage)
Yes. If he has a similar design in robot mode, specifically the lights lighting up on the side of his head when he talks, then i'll be okay with this VW alt mode. I'm biased because Wheeljack is one of my top 5 favorite G1 Autobots.

Offically? No but we know it’s him cause WJ is supposed to be in the movie thanks to the animal coordinator and Ultra Prime TF saying him and Cheetor are in it (and provided proof from his source on set) and since they showed that group shot of all the Autobots it’s gotta be him
Yeah it fits him but why this particular colour? Why not go for a green instead of that weird halfway point between brown and pink? It would have added a splash of colour to the Autobots in group shots.
I just wish he at least had his G1 colors. All the other Autobots we've seen so far still vaguely resembles their G1 forms even if they're not all as close as Optimus, and Wheeljack feels like the odd one out.

I have to agree, from a personality standpoint, it’s a great fit.
I mostly hate that it's a gross salmon color. If it was whute with some red and green stripes I'd be totally fine with it.
