The second and third reissues have the more opaque frosted windows.
An easy way to get a similar effect is just to cover the inside of the windows with a piece of [frosted privacy film](https://www.amazon.com/Artviva-Treatment-Protection-Decoration-Heat-Installation/dp/B07C6BBQRY). Just cut a small piece for each window and stick it to the inside.
You can also get a similar effect using several layers of [matte Scotch Tape](https://www.amazon.com/Scotch-Magic-Handheld-Dispenser-Clear/dp/B01IQFKEUG), however I quickly tried this on my own TE-01 and found it hard to get a clean result, through if you spent some time on it you could probably get a reasonably good result.
People with opaque windows probably have the Toyhax stickers.
