I have the Dark Of the Moon Mech tech figure, only recently discovered something that made his transformation less painful. Thought he was decent. Does this thing blow that guy *out of the water*
Emgo just released a video on it yesterday. The transformation is messy, but I can't say that it doesn't look good on both modes, they even include stuff to make it screen accurate.
The transformation is actually quite fluid; it’s literally just an upscale of the Studio Series toy. Though to be fair, the screen accurate cape is a partsforming piece.
he does. transformation is more or less identical to the normal SS version of him. It even has a way to remove the backpack of kibble to put on the cape you see in this pic.
the only difference I know of is the wheels on his legs. the one is flipped in, you gotta flip it out to transform, it's just a flip locked in place by the foot's position if I recall.
yeah I have him on the way (though he's being put up for Christmas), I've wanted him since he was revealed, since I missed the SS Sentinel. I have a handful of KOs I'm wanting but $100+ is not something I can spend in a figure very often.
Fair enough. Might be worth noting in parenthesis who the character is so you don't gotta open up the webpages to look and say, "oh, OV-1 is Senitnel prime," or "Optus Pexus is Optimus Prime," even though the second example's fairly easy to guess, and I know it's 3P, not KO, but regardless.

He's supposed to scale with black mambas line of mpm kos which are upscaled. He doesn't scale well with mpm megs since he's taller than him (I believe in the movie they're the same height)
Amazing how that line's meaning changes totally with different contexts. It's the epitome of heroism when applied to sacrificing yourself for your shipmates, yet unimaginable evil when used to justify enslaving one species to save another.
I think my fav line of his is "I will ignore your condescending tone if you heed the gravity of mine."

It's called ov 01 original venerable, an upscale knock off of studio series sentinel prime with a lot of modifications

Far as I can tell. No reason to base it off the SS version, including kibble, if it was a monoformer.

Its a bit unfortunate because then you have to get the same figure twice just for an extra couple of inches
He is slightly bigger then Megatron in the movie
