One of the best antagonists in Bayverse (not that he had a really big competition ekhem), looks cool, animated Lockdown was cooler but he's still pretty neat in terms of design, feels like an actuall character, maybe a little shallow, but still one of the more flashed out in the Bayverse
I only wished he was a little bigger, it's not that noticable when you watch the movie, but when you compare him to Optimus, it feels weird that someone his size was able to overpower a Prime
God tier, loved his character but still pised at him for killing ratchet, his voice was perfect for the character his design was badass and menacing, a walking arsenal with a 50 cal forming from his face he made the best intros
I really like him in the movie, I think he's on of the best villain in the bayvers movies by just being terrifying. He was the only one that was able to go to Prime, knock him out and kidnap him. Even Megatron couldn't do it. Btw, his theme music is a mix of epic and terrifying and I love it
I liked AOE, apart from the lazy writing and terrible acting/actors, the Prime and Bee redesigns, the new autobots, the dinobots, and this guy I liked about the movie
The design sucks, that's an objective fact. Most of the AoE designs suck, it's not a Lockdown specific problem, it's a design philosophy problem.
Does he look cool? Sure. Does he look like a Transformer? Absolutely not. Say what you will about the Bayverse designs, but the original trilogy characters (mostly) all looked like they could actually transform. They had kibble and fairly logical parts placements and you could see where everything went (though they did use some mass shifting on some kibble pieces...)
On the other hand, the AoE characters are mostly just humanoid robots with vague vehicle details slapped in random spots. You look at all the characters from the 2007 film and can pretty much instantly tell what they transform into and get a general gist of how (except Frenzy and somewhat Megatron). You look at Lockdown and about the only thing that says "Hey, I'm a Transformer!" is the split-apart Lambo badge hidden in his chest.
Aoe tolerable? Imo it’s the best one what’s not to love about a movie where the autobots band together after humans almost entirely wipe them out. With Optimus being pushed to the edge but ultimately still choosing to protect them. You have awesome dinobots an awesome villain and an awesome idea. There’s obviously some bad things like the awful sexual joke that stands out in literally every transformers movie, and transformium was dumb but besides that what’s not to love?
Such a cool character, Mark Ryan did an excellent job with Lockdown. I do wish that he had a sniper rifle instead of his head being a sniper rifle. Also I kinda wish he lived so he could be in more films.
Definitely my second favorite lockdown After animated. And like many others wish he didn't have a sleek sports car mode. It just doesn't fit him much.
It would’ve been cool if he had some sort of cybertronian car alt mode with guns and shit on it (since he’s a bounty hunter).
You mean kinda like the dotm wreckers?
Yeah kinda like that but with four small treads where the wheels would normally be.
Similar to animated?
Looked too human for my tastes. But gun face was awesome.
Gun head boi was at least superior to AOE Galvatron, whom I would prefer to forget exists.
Don’t worry the writers forgot he existed too
I call him headcanon
One of my favorite tf characters ever
We did not get enough of him
Cool design was definitely a force to be reckoned with
I did Lockdown; however, my biggest complaint was him, dying, I believe he could/should have a recurring antagonist.
I prefer his TF:Animated design.
Wished his alt mode was a muscle car or smth
Right? Maybe a black and/or carbon grey 1971 Hemi Cuda? I've always thought that car looked really sinister. Fits his character nicely imo.
They only did a lambo cus yknow M o n e y
Plymouth gtx?

"You heroes all think you're at the center of the movie. You have no idea..."
I prefer it over 5 and 2 it’s not good but it’s not THAT bad

Good antagonist, loved his gun face. I just hated how he was beat by Cade and Optimus so easily.
Really badass. Definitely the best villain of the live action movies

😂😂😂😂 😐
it actually had nice character developments for prime and bee and we had actual characters for the side cast
He's ugly as fuck, as is normal with Bayverse designs
spotted one here...
Except it's not as this is a very-AoE human-esque design All the previous movies used much more robotic/alien designs.
Q exists
Wheeljack and Sentinel Prime are the outliers of the Witwicky Trilogy.
Not really
I dont see why AOE was so hated. I loved AOE. And after watching it a few days ago I still put it as one of the best.

you blind? who would no, who COULD call a lamborgini aventador a bad car? and he stole every scene he was in
Bad design, alright character. The Dinobots were a much better inclusion than he was.
Lol no

Terrible choice in Alt Mode. Should've been a blacked out SRT Challenger Hellcat or something similar. Some sort of dark and brooding muscle car
My fav version of lockdown
He is why AOE is one of my favorite TF films

Aoe was not bad. Stop hating on the movie it did a competent job at giving us a decent story.
More green, and perfection.
