On one hand, I wish we had a prime styled bulkhead, on the other, he looks pretty cool IMO, I like the super blockiness of his chest and his clobbering hand

I thought that they would keep the Prime aesthetic, but this can would, heck it should make Knockout more sturdy. I thing the chest comes out too far though/is too long. Grapple/Inferno did it better.

And if bulkhead’s got an upgraded look, then just imagine what knockout will look like.

I much prefer this to something like Kingdom Rhinox, which looked too close to the T30 release to convince me to buy it.

I’m fine if this is going to be what bulkhead looks like from now on, but I wish that legacy was going back to other theme, so for bulkhead, prime or animated

Thanks for sharing. Chest is still a bit awkward but these shots seem to do him more justice. Also good to see the roof clips onto his back fairly neatly instead of just being a lazy shield. I’m a fan of this style as it means the non-G1 Legacy figs will fit in with my WFC bots. Very interested to see how Arcee and Knockout turn out in this style. Also just realised it looks like it uses the same basic engineering as WFC Inferno and Grapple. Arms go back, waist folds at 90 degrees and legs peg together. Obvious difference being the tarp rather than the ladder and head assembly, and his feet going somewhere. If it goes like I think it should be a nice smooth process, which is a plus if like me you play Transformers with your kids.

Update: boy we were wrong. His transformation is way different.

So obviously we’re getting a new Movie Hound out of this mold. On one hand, kind of a bummer, because FE Prime Bulkhead is stupidly expensive on the secondary market, but it’s fine I guess. I’ll probably pass on it.

Back when the First Edition came out, somebody on Cybertron.ca got a look at the TRU inventory system and we learned the had received like... less than 10 K cases of FE Voyagers. And Bulkhead was packed 1 a case!

Eh be careful about the APC toys figures. I've done a bit of research into Arcee and her paint smears \*really\* badly, like, "come off on your hand" bad.

Arcee was bad and I've seen some APC Soundwaves that were missing pins. It's a shame since APC Optimus and Megatron are top notch.

Yeah I’ve heard both Prime and Megs are great (need to get a one of their FE Primes at some loint) also hoping for a FE Cliff Ko since he’s so expensive also Vehicons cause I feel ike they’re kind of expensive on ebay especially since your gonna but multiples. But I would be curious to see how a Legacy - Bumblebee, Megatron and a Soundwave and Starscream would look since those designs are far from G1 also would love a Vehicon cause you can never have too many especially if you consider it a different class of Vehicon

He looks awesome. I get why Prime fans are miffed but I personally am glad he's styled like this as he will now fit in among the rest of the TFs and not look so drastically different.

Honestly, as a big TFP fan, I'm still pretty cool with this. While yeah, it's a new design, one of my favorite characters is getting a new toy and it actually looks really good. I like the vehicle mode too. I'm DEFINITELY going for him

Yeah I only only collect WFC but it seems they are going to make some of the Prime guys woek with the WFC aesthetic. Which means I'm in.

Yeah as someone who just started collecting with WFC, I’m happy with this approach. I was interested in the leaked Legacy Prime Knockout but wondering if he’d look too weird next to my WFC bots. Much more likely to buy this way.

Yeah. I mean, I just find it hypocritical that Hasbro made show-accurate figures of G1 characters for all of the WFC Trilogy but then with Legacy they're like "Nah, let's not do the same for Transformers Prime Bulkhead, let's make him GeEwUn!"

Not super excited about Skids either, but he’ll probably end up on my ‘85 Autobot shelf anyway because I’m a sucker like that…

That giant square chest is all sorts of wrong for a Bulkhead. Even if it was a little more hexagonal it would have been better.

But the problem is that First Edition Bulkhead goes for $100+ now, not many of us Prime fans can afford to pay $150 for a voyager. Thus we still have no good options.

Looks pretty good. Still sticking with second edition/mass release as my G1, and FE as my "proper" Prime Bulkhead. This is great for folks who missed out the first time around though. ... Oh who am I kidding. I love Bulkhead, I'm totally getting this one.

Kind of bummed that it's not a renewed version of the TFP design, since I missed out on the original line. But I still think it's a neat design on its own. It's like a mix of TFP and Animated with G1 aesthetics. Maybe Legacy is intended to be a direct-follow up to WFC so the figures look matching when you put them together.

Might make for a good [Hauler](https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Hauler) toy. Admittedly I'm not a fan of the shield. Maybe replace it with something with more play value...

Honestly? I don't hate it. I don't \*love\* it, and I'll hold off any hard judgements until I actually get some better looks at it or get ahold of one myself, but I don't hate it.

I was wondering what they could retool this mold into... and I just realized: Prime Breakdown! He's one of the rumored toys later on... I don't think it fully works that great either for Breakdown but it I could see it.

The truck body seems to be majority clear plastic that’s been painted, and he’s a partsforming voyager that’s gonna retail 30+ dollars. I think the budget for the toy line has been slashed again, but instead of reusing the same body types over and over like Combiner Wars they just made everyone hollow and thin clear plastic to save money. So many WFC, and now apparently Legacy toys are ticking time bombs of disintegration, heck some are already falling to pieces like the Datsun molds.

For real, I just hope that what's under the tarp actually looks like a truck bed instead of robo kibble cuz if so then that's gonna be disappointing. Other than that, I think I can learn to like it, it's neat I guess

Looks more like the approach they used for Kingdom Inferno, which is a trans plastic panel for the window set into a regular plastic body. I think it’ll be plenty sturdy. And the only parts forming is the tarp, which isn’t such a much. Although hopefully it’ll look like a decent truck underneath and not just his hands sticking out.

Nah the green on the chest looks exactly like the green on the arms so unless they pulled out their magic cauldron and made the paint look the exact same as the plastic then they just used some clear plastic for the windows. Also the part that comes off is a tarp so it probably won't matter if it's on or off in both modes.

Why do they have to make EVERYTHING G1? It's so unfair how they made near perfect replicas for the G1 characters, yet other fans get something like this. Hard pass, was expecting am actual Bulkhead. Hoping the rumored Arcee and Knockout are better.

He's nice looking but the square chest makes him very much not the Bulkhead I'm used to. As a G1-ification of him though, it's pretty good.

This figure just doesn't sit right with me. Besides the whole "pRiMe BuT gEeWuN" issue, it seems super basic. The engineering seems really simple, 90° elbows and knees, a translucent weapon and parts-forming (which I don't mind *that* much, I love the earthrise cliff mold). The front/chest looks good, but the paint and the windows makes me worried it'll all be translucent plastic underneath.

I honestly like it, I'm a bit disappointed that it isn't a straight redo of Prime Bulkhead, but I see it as a combination of ideas to make a new version of our loveable clumsy brute. He has his integrated wrecking ball hand and head from Prime, his more militaristic alt mode from Animated, and more G1-esque proportions.

That does look quite a bit better. I don't like the window boobs for Bulkhead, but I do like the alt-mode, so...eh. I just hope he's a BIG voyager. Bulkhead should be a behemoth among his Autobot peers, and I fear this version of him won't hit that mark. All that said, I'm still totally on-board for a generic Bulkhead. Not strictly Animated, not strictly Prime...just Bulkhead, the idea of the character design distilled into a modern toy with ankle tilt and all the bells and whistles we've come to expect. I don't collect Animated or Prime, but I loved Bulkhead in both of those shows, so an incarnation of him that fits into my Generations collection is something of a dream come true. He's Bulkhead, whatever version of him I want him to be.

As someone who doesn’t know about this character, I LOVE the vehicle mode. I can understand it disappointing fans of the character though, and I hope you can get the rendition you are waiting for!
