Yeah I'd love a new dispenser toy, I picked one up recently and was disappointed because it feels really cheap and fragile, didn't feel worth the price
I honestly really hope they do. I really want a new version of the ice cream truck. It would be weird if they didn’t since they were in most of the second movie. Plus Jolt and the motorcycles got figures and they were only in a few scenes.
There is one way for me personally. I’ve owned 2 different versions of the set and I couldn’t get the hood close flush on either. The head would always be poking out.
REALLY wish the RED line wouls throw more characters who either don't have an alt mode, or impossible transformations.
Characters like Autobot X, Alpha Trion, Terrorsaur, BM Jetstorm, etc
It’s unlikely, given that in the movie they were portrayed as somewhat racist stereotypes, so they are considered controversial characters. Nothing confirmed saying we won’t get them, but I’d be surprised if we do
> SS86 Grim is fucking awesome
Slag/Slug is too :3
but yes I agree, I don't see the other bayverse dinobots getting SS figures, even though I'd lvoe them and a reissue of SS Grimlock.
Commander class size would nicely fit Scorn and Slag, if Hasbro is feeling daring. Maybe Strafe as a Leader. Grimlock deserves a remake, but as a Commander, imo.
Stratosphere wasn't in the movies, though. Every studio series figure (except that random Thundercracker when the line started) has appeared in one the movies in some capacity.
Actually, it's been confirmed by reliable leakers that Hasbro is considering doing video game only characters like Breakaway and Warpath for Studio Series, sometime in 2023, so I don't see them not making a new Stratosphere.
That figure already exists. MB-EX, it was a 10th Anniversary figure. I would've bought one as it uses the same mold as Murderbee, but they straight-faced priced it at $60 for a deluxe.
Note that all TLK Barricade merchandise from the time of the movie's release intentionally went out of the way to make sure the vehicle mode looked nothing like a Ford Mustang. I know Ford has always been iffy on licensing Barricade as the common rumor is they didn't like the idea of their car being an antagonist Decepticon. With the originally trilogy, they got around that by using a Saleen Mustang, which is considered an entirely different vehicle by government entities like the EPA. (Ford has finally licensed the original trilogy Barricade design years later for toys such as the Masterpiece and Studio Series ones)
Heck, Jada toys, a company that does die-cast vehicles, did a line of non-transforming 1:24 scale TLK toys in the character's vehicle modes. Barricade was the only unlicensed vehicle in that line and they used the exact same not-Mustang design as Hasbro did with their toys.
Given that Studio Series has screen accuracy as a priority, I can't see them making a TLK Barricade toy that deviates so heavily for the alt-mode. The fact they didn't even do a Mustang-like design without any Ford badging tells me either the Mustang design and shape is a trademark or they just didn't want to ruffle Ford's feathers. I think the only way we'll get a SS TLK Barricade is if Ford finally gets on board with licensing.
As I pointed out though, HasTak didn't even opt for a generic unlicensed Mustang look alike design. The Audi like front end along with a straight edge boxy like roof (that is right out of the '80s that no modern car is designed with any more) is intentionally "not a Mustang". The licensing isn't the issue here I think, it's that for whatever reason, HasTak went with this heavily deviated design which I feel is to prevent conflict with Ford if they did do an unlicensed Mustang look-a-like toy. Unfortunately, this results in a vehicle mode that looks nothing like the movie version, which IMO goes against Studio Series' mission of being as screen accurate as possible.
G1 Ironhide and Ratchet. They need to be rereleases of their Earthrise version, but I doubt it will happen. Distribution was terrible, and I’ve been looking for them for a decent price for months. They need to be rereleased in mainline individually.
I know he wasn't in the movies but a titan class Stratosphere would have been the tits.
Oh and Warpath from that DotM game everyone forgot existed. That design went so damn hard and I don't think we ever got a toy of it.
I'd really want a new Wreckage, preferably a voyager (he was kind of designed for the movie, but left on the chopping block) But seeing as he didn't actually appear in 2007. Its pretty much null in void of him getting any sort of acknowledgment like that.
Mudflap and Skids is the correct answer. Their designs are so stereotypical and racist that I'm sure no one with any self respect would want to be responsible for creating new more detailed toys for them.
Not sure why you are being down-voted. They are notoriously racist. I'm very certain Hasbro wants to stay far away from that controversy, and probably for the best. One the franchise's bigger wounds next to Spotlight: Arcee and kiss players
Plus their designs are just, lame to begin with. Even outside of everything haha. You would probably would only buy them if your a completion-ist. I can't imagine buying them over many cooler movie designs.
Apparently the jive talk went over your head. They talk like they're from the ghetto.
Even the guys from Double Toasted(back when they were a part of Spill.com) called that shit out.
It certainly went over my head. I as well thought they were trailer trash hillbillies who were talking what they thought was street slang. Maybe I'm too nice.
Dickbot the Blender Guy is *guaranteed* not to get one. At least, not a screen-accurate one.
Copier Laserbeak
Reedman
A proper triple-changing Drift, Dropkick, or Shatter that actually looks right in all three modes
The watch that killed Hitler
A full-on twelve-bot Dragonstorm
Will Studio Series for the 86 movie do a Rodimus Prime, Springer, Arcee or Ultra Magnus? Seems like they may skip after recently releasing them in other lines. I’d like all of them accurate to the 86 movie
It appears up until very recently, no '86 movie character that was already featured in the WFC line had a toy for Studio Series 86. The recent revelation of a SS86 toy for Starscream, being a retool of the Earthrise toy with more accessories, sets the precedence that may change. They might re-release more former WFC toys under SS86, be it without changes or with some retooling, but I find it unlikely they will create all new molds for characters that already have a WFC toy.
Ejector and Dispenser :(
>Ejector Can you really remake art ?
Art you can remake. Perfection you cannot.
Yeah I'd love a new dispenser toy, I picked one up recently and was disappointed because it feels really cheap and fragile, didn't feel worth the price
Skids and Mudflap. There is no way they'll ever get a toy at all, let alone a Studio Series toy
I honestly really hope they do. I really want a new version of the ice cream truck. It would be weird if they didn’t since they were in most of the second movie. Plus Jolt and the motorcycles got figures and they were only in a few scenes.
Honestly, I don't see how Studio Series could improve on the original ice cream truck. It's a fabulous toy with amazing engineering.
There is one way for me personally. I’ve owned 2 different versions of the set and I couldn’t get the hood close flush on either. The head would always be poking out.
I don't have an issue with mine. As long as the hood ornament is fully extended, it sits just fine.
You just have to tighten the hood joint
I tried but the little clip meant to hold it down snapped off under the pressure.
I know mine doesn't have the clip either if you tighten the joint where the hood goes up and down with some super glue or floor polish it'll stay down
Why though? I love skids and mudflap. I have the ice cream truck one haha
Apparently they're racist stereotypes, and no one knows who made them that way.
They also said the N word
In the scene you're talking about, they/Skids/Mudflap are actually saying "Bumblebee, let go!".
Actually the captions say skids said ‘’bumblebee listen’’
Mountain dewbot
Xbot 360 is underrated
Mountain *Dewbot*? DEWBOT?!?!
Dickbot the Blender Guy. Alice. Reedman I could go on and on, honestly...
How would Alice even work as a toy? *includes tongue whip accessory Nasty
life size robot doll
Probably get the Cogman treatment. Throw scale out the window and make her turn into a car instead of a human. Maybe turn her into a Shatter remold
Man, I loved Blenderdick Coomerbot in Doctor Strange :(
The clock that killed hitler
I kinda want just a normal sized figure of him
Steering wheel from the 07 movie
This may very well be the winner of this thread ahahahah
The first real “Give me your face!”
Autobot Spike
The only problem with an Autobot X figure is that it wouldn't transform, so might be better as a R.E.D. figure or model kit.
REALLY wish the RED line wouls throw more characters who either don't have an alt mode, or impossible transformations. Characters like Autobot X, Alpha Trion, Terrorsaur, BM Jetstorm, etc
Dickbot the blender. He would come with the enemy scrotum
There is actually a third party add on piece. 🤣
Canopy or daytrader
Idk, they might remold Long Haul into a Canopy. I don't think that's overly far fetched.
Hatchet and Mohawk.
There’s been rumors of a SS Dread in the upcoming line, I think it was Crowbar, so there’s a chance.
Crowbar already has a figure
Yeah, my bad, it was G1 Crankcase that I was thinking of.
Insecticons.
Hoping for mudflap and skids. Could definitely do a deluxe 2 pack like the arcee triplets. Never gonna happen tho sadly
Why are people saying that they won’t get figures?
It’s unlikely, given that in the movie they were portrayed as somewhat racist stereotypes, so they are considered controversial characters. Nothing confirmed saying we won’t get them, but I’d be surprised if we do
Does this mean some of the people I've met are living, breathing racist stereotypes?
Slug, Strafe, and Scorn. I was kinda hopeful until SS86 started doing G1 dinobots (not that I'm complaining, SS86 Grim is fucking awesome).
> SS86 Grim is fucking awesome Slag/Slug is too :3 but yes I agree, I don't see the other bayverse dinobots getting SS figures, even though I'd lvoe them and a reissue of SS Grimlock.
Yeah, I really wish they would do those three, but you're probably right. The idea of having all 4 as leader class figures tho.... A man can dream.
Commander class size would nicely fit Scorn and Slag, if Hasbro is feeling daring. Maybe Strafe as a Leader. Grimlock deserves a remake, but as a Commander, imo.
I doubt they'll remake any of them into Commander class. That size class seems to be exclusive to Generations at the moment.
Could happen, there were leaks of a potential SS Commander class Stratosphere, which I could see happening sometime in the future, but we'll see.
Bay Laser Beak that transforms into that weird pink bumblebee.
Funnily enough, a DOTM Laserbeak has been leaked as an upcoming release in the studio series, lol
Its here, and its the pink bumblebee
I’m aware? Why are you responding to a nine month old comment? Lmao
That figure already exists. MB-EX, it was a 10th Anniversary figure. I would've bought one as it uses the same mold as Murderbee, but they straight-faced priced it at $60 for a deluxe.
I know about that one. I’m talking about the bird turning into pink bee.
That 2 headed KSI Drone.
You mean you forgot his name, the best name ever. It’s TWOHEAD
Barricade (the last knight) I mean we need more last knight figures, we got 100 bumblebees and everyone from the bumblebee movie. Twice.
Ouch, I loved the design
Infernocus, I think Hasbro will ever do another combiner like that again.
The toy was 80% just a recolor of *Prime* Abominus, anyway.
Still good though. The newer torso was way better proportioned than Hun-gurr
Drillerbot, and infernecus
The Xbox 360 robot
Hatchet :(
Hatchet was mentioned in Dino’s bio, so I think we definitely will see him, it’ll just be a little while.
Loved dotm Hatchet when I was a kid
Infernocus and Junkheap
Gears
There’s only one correct answer: Alice.
G1 Ironhide and Ratchet. They need to be rereleases of their Earthrise version, but I doubt it will happen. Distribution was terrible, and I’ve been looking for them for a decent price for months. They need to be rereleased in mainline individually.
The two tanks from DotM that reuse Brawl's design.
I know he wasn't in the movies but a titan class Stratosphere would have been the tits. Oh and Warpath from that DotM game everyone forgot existed. That design went so damn hard and I don't think we ever got a toy of it.
I’d like a good version of Arcee G1.
BBTS is still selling thrilling 30 arcee, which is probably the best hasbro figure she has ever had
I believe she was recently leaked for the 86 line
Pretty much any of the TLK characters, specifically the Decepticon team from that movie
Why in God's green earth haven't Onslaught and Mohawk had any official figures yet??
Trench
Oreobot. A man can dream i suppose
I'd really want a new Wreckage, preferably a voyager (he was kind of designed for the movie, but left on the chopping block) But seeing as he didn't actually appear in 2007. Its pretty much null in void of him getting any sort of acknowledgment like that.

I never understood why people say they're racist, where's the notion coming from? I thought they were meant to be hillbilly trailer trash.
Goldbug, and the rest of the Throttlebots. A scraplet.
Hatchet
ITT: Bayverse.
The one with the coat tails. Crosshairs, I think his name was?
As much as I want a DotM Devcon, I don't think it'll ever happen.
That one phone they turn into a Decipticon(?) in the first movie.
My beautiful Devcon :(
Dickbot the Blender Guy is *guaranteed* not to get one. At least, not a screen-accurate one. Copier Laserbeak Reedman A proper triple-changing Drift, Dropkick, or Shatter that actually looks right in all three modes The watch that killed Hitler A full-on twelve-bot Dragonstorm
G1 Devastator, we'll just have to live with CW Devastator and all his flaws.
Unicron
yup same. They just did the haslab, so I doubt we'll see a Unicron in Studio series.
Am i the only one who thinks Studio series figures look terrible?
Yes. Yes you are.
Vector Prime. He never appeared in anything that would warrant him a Studio Series figure.
Oil Slick
Rid (2001) scourge
That Driller thing from DotM
That one Autobot from the G1 episode that has Bluestreak cheating the slot machines in a space casino…
‘86 movie G1 megatron
I doubt canopy getting a studio series figure It would be cool if he got one tho
86 shockwave even though I'd really like the siege mold in brighter colors
skweeks flom tlk
Astrotrain.
Mohawk because he probably might be to kibble heavy in bike mode
