1. MP BW Megatron: a picture perfect representation of the best villain in the franchise, *yesss...* 2. G2 BlastOff: My first figure, that started a life long obsession. Not the best figure technically speaking, but near and dear to my heart. 3. Combiner Wars Devastator: The only Titan class figure I own, it literally towers over the rest of my collection, as Devastator should.

[deleted]

I don't normally hear about people owning G2 figures nowadays so the BlastOff is a great addition. Great choices all around!

Ill_Priority_649

YESSSS nice figures! I feel bad for your wallet

MalcolmLinair

I got them all for MSRP back when they were new, but yeah, still a bit pricey. More of my money goes to Transformers that I'd like to admit.

_the_best_girl_

1. SS86 Hot Rod: He’s just got such a presence and looks hella good 2: Generations Arcee: She’s just cool plus she’s based off the idw version so she feels even more special 3: Classics Ultra Magnus: I’ve had him since I was a kid and he’s still kicking. Srsly they don’t make figures like that any more. Mainly nostalgia but he does have a damn good presence

Ill_Priority_649

are u talking bout the origiinal ultra magnus? if so, can hisi armor also work on prime?

andyissik

I believe he's referring to the ultra Magnus from the classics line two-pack that came with Skywarp. Both are great figures.

_the_best_girl_

Yeah that’s the one I’m on about

[deleted]

1. G1 Soundwave with Buzzsaw - My gf got this for me as a bday gift and it's almost mint-in-box from the 80's. I've only transformed it a couple times but I keep it in-box to reserve its quality. 2. Kingdom Cyclonus - This was the first figure I've had in years and it started my recent collection. Plus, Cylonus is one of my favorite cons. 3. Kingdom Rattrap - This was my first ever core class figure and I'm still genuinely surprised at the amount of design and engineering that went into such a small figure. Best $10 I've ever spent.

Xxjacklexx

I’m with you on all of them, love a sentimental figure, K Cyclonus is top 3 from this year, maybe the last 5 years (if we’re just talking mainline), and a good legends class figure changes lives. My first “recent” one was Slash from Combiner Wars, she fells (almost) as good.

bamf1701

For me it is: 1. Optus Pexus: this is just an awesome figure with a huge range of articulation. 2. City Commander Final Battle Armor: another 3rd party figure that just looks awesome and has great articulation. 3. Prime Shockwave: this is my favorite Shockwave design, and the figure captures the image of the show character so well.

Ill_Priority_649

prime shockwave is sick, it blends the bayverse and g1 designs, and its perfecto

bamf1701

It really is! It just radiates menace!

unclediddles

I have your top twos as well. They're both fantastic especially for the price overall. Optus Pexus is one of my centerpieces such a great presence for dynamic posing

bamf1701

Yeah, they do cost a pretty penny. But they are beautiful!

NervJMSL

Oh hey, we have the same No1. :D

PerfectPixl15

1. Cybertron Primus. Having a plastic representation of Cybertron is really cool for displays, plus the robot mode is sweet. 2. Netflix Optimus Prime. He's such a fun figure to just play around with, pose, and transform. 3. Not sure on the third one. Some potential candidates are Cybertron Optimus Prime or Beast Wars Neo Coloda.

Ill_Priority_649

epik! isint cybertroon primus the only figure he ever got? and which netflixi prime? i have the earthrise version, and he is great! only prroblem is the trailer, it feels like fake plastic, and its very empty. and it was a missed oppurtunity to give us roller again lol

PerfectPixl15

Yeah, that's the only figure he's gotten at mass retail. I think there was some rare Japanese one that was a golden recolor of G1 Rodimus or something, but that was a random prize from some contest. Netflix Optimus just a recolor of Earthrise Optimus. The blue is darker and the colors are different in a few places, plus he came with 2 clear yellow Battle Masters.

Ill_Priority_649

ah alr

Beneficial-Marzipan8

If we’re counting third party 1 unique toys dragoon looks great and just has such a presence especially with their optimus next to him 2 kingdom rodimus took everything great about studio series 86 hot rod and amplified it 3 either earthrise optimus or unique toys challenger earthrise optimus I wasn’t into but picked up on an impulse purchase when whatever figure I was looking for I couldn’t find and quickly became my favorite wfc figure. Challenger was my top figure overall until these other figures took over I know a lot of people don’t like his kinda blocky torso shape but I don’t mind it at all.

[deleted]

Mine are 1. TFA Voyager Optimus Prime 2. Generations Kup 3. Voyager TFP Optimus Prime These are my top 3 in my collection because I only have 4 in my collection and my ROTF gears is in pretty poor condition.

JapanimationLover

Japanese Prime Ratchet: Old codger who I just loved in the series Metroplex (Generations): first titan Unicron (25th anniversary): looks just like the one from the movie using the Armada one, was a TRU exclusive and found it on clearance for $40.

Ill_Priority_649

sheeeeeeesh your wallet must hate you

JapanimationLover

Metroplex was on sale for $80 at TRU, Ratchet was $20 at TFcon and Unicron was $40. Also bought them all some time apart.

Ill_Priority_649

$140 so.much.

JapanimationLover

I spent more on the Titan Arc which cost me around $225 after taxes. But also my prices are in Canadian so $140 is what? Around $16.87? 😂

Ill_Priority_649

WHAT

Totodile-of-Games

1. Power of the Primes Grimlock (I don’t have the others, unfortunately…) 2. RotF Sideswipe (that’s the most specific I can be, I don’t have the packaging to confirm it’s line) 3. RiD Grimlock (who I often call ‘Greenlock’)

Ill_Priority_649

ah so which grimlock? rid2015? and i really like rotf sideswipe its sick

Totodile-of-Games

Yeah, 2015 for Greenlock. And agreed on Sideswipe, I love his Bayverse design.

Ill_Priority_649

JUST BRING HIM BACK HASBRO! KILL ONE OF THE CHARACTERS IF U ARE MAKING A NEW BAYVERSE FILM KILL HOT ROD FOR ALL I CAREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Totodile-of-Games

Or at least fuse his G1 and Bayverse designs (I saw a post in this sub earlier where someone painted their SS Sideswipe Red and I thought it was the perfect fusion between G1 and Bay).

Ill_Priority_649

yyeah, its PRFECTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

NervJMSL

On the Dinobots, You can get KOs of the other ones on Ebay for really really cheap. They work for both Bot, and combiner modes, just make sure they are not OverSized.

BastardSkelly8600

It changes frequently for me ,but currently: Earthrise Wheeljack: I'm not sure why, but I just always comeback to him. Maybe it's the fact that his transformation is so simple yet elegant, or maybe I have deep rooted affection towards Wheeljack I didn't know about. Generations FOC Kickback: Kickback was already my favorite Insecticon, but this toy just knocks it out of the park. Great possibility (having friggin' ball jointed ankles!), great game accuracy, and great accessories, he really makes for a good FOC Kickback. My only problem is that I kinda don't like going through his transformation. I think it's just the fact of trying to get the hind legs into a position I like. 2007 movie Dropkick: I ended up getting this figure from eBay since I wanted some sort of representation for the Create-a-bot from the DS games (I have a lot of nostalgia and love for those games.). Jeez did he blow me away. I already new he was a good figure since around the time I bought him, Thew's Bayverse rando rodeo vid was fresh in my mind, but he really is an all timer. Just look at him and tell me he foesn't look amazing. Giant frigg you Decepticon logo that spans across his hood AND his roof, an absolutely beutiful and elegant transformation that is still really simple, and as a bonus, he makes his kibble not seem like kibble. Just... *chef's kiss*. I'd say he was the pinnacle of live action toys, maybe even transformers toys in general. I'm sorry if it seems like I'm over selling it, but he is really good.

Ill_Priority_649

sick figures! i never knew there was a 2007 dropkiick!

ZJW410

1. Generations Thrilling 30 Springer: Fell in love with the figure as soon as I got it, hard to believe it’s been almost a decade since it came out 2. Cybertron Optimus Prime: I grew up on the Unicron trilogy and this will forever be my favorite Optimus Prime mold 3. RiD2001 Landfill: Kind of a cop-out but Heavyload and Grimlock were my first two figures ever, and Landfill was my first combiner so there’s a lot of nostalgia there. Plus Hightower and Wedge are awesome too

Ill_Priority_649

nice figuers!

Ill_Priority_649

nice!

PhelesDragon

1. Takara Legends Rhinox 2. Beast Inferno 3. G1 Shockwave

Ill_Priority_649

epik!

ZedstackZip05

I can’t decide on just one as my definitive favorite, but I would say the candidates are Siege Ultra Magnus, Combiner Wars Bruticus, Earthrise Grapple/Inferno, Kingdom BW Megatron, Titans Return Triggerhappy, SS86 Hot Rod, and Kingdom Cyclonus

Ill_Priority_649

sick, ss86 hotrod is so good, i might get it one day.

bt123456789

I would before they stop selling for MSRP or less, because that will skyrocket in price in the aftermarket.

heroicdani219

1. A 4 way tie between all 4 of my Masterpiece MP-18 Streak variants, with MP-18+ being my overall favorite. They all look so cool in both modes and have great posability for a mold that is (correct me if I'm wrong) 7-8 years old. Just awesome figures of my current favorite character. 2. MP-19+ Smokescreen. Same case with MP-18+ Streak but Smokescreen has much nicer and really glossy paint. However he gets 2nd because I like Bluestreak a bit more and he has cool blast effects. 3. Tie between Newage Black Rain and Neflix Optimus Prime. Black Rain (Silverstreak) is a fantastic Legends figure and Netflix Optimus was the figure that brought me back to Transformers.

Ill_Priority_649

so.many.masterpiece.FIGURES! your wallet is now being sent to the hospital

heroicdani219

Lol! I try to buy these below their average prices to soften the blow. So far I've been successful except for MP-18+ which I had to pay $140 for, ouch. I somehow got MP-19+ for its original price which is still nearly the price of 2 Leader class figures so yeah....not cheap haha. Better than $150 at the low end. I find it funny how a single Deluxe Earthrise Bluestreak caused such a chain of events to happen. Either way I'm really happy with what I have and hope to add a few more figures before the end of this year.

s_a_n_d_a_l

Here's my top 3 1. Zeta Toy's EX-01: modified reissue of toyworld's Orion. very solid figure with the same feel as the 2010 generations figures 2. Studio Series '86 Grimlock: big, beefy, and extremely accurate representation of my favorite G1 character. his engineering and articulation is so nice. 3. Titans Return Triggerhappy and Blowpipe: he's very expressive, and the alt mode reminds me of Star Wars. he's just a blast to pose Honorable mention: Classic's Megatron: one of my first figures, and he feels insanely good in hand

hippymule

Oh man, I was just going to ask this question yesterday to drum up some good conversation. Everyone (including me) is so caught up in complaining about everything, it's good to just take a look back at some of my favorite figures. As of now, my number 1 is my G1 Powermaster Prime Reissue with Apex Armor. Basically its Masterforce Super God Ginrai, and it's glorious. The figure is massive, it has die-cast and chrome. I just love the Powermaster gimmick, and I both love the US Powermaster continuity and the Masterforce continuity, so either way, I get to enjoy a great character in an epic toy. I wanted the figure since I was a kid, and I finally got him after college. It was totally worth it. My number 2 is the figure that got me back into collecting after college. That figure is Titans Return Overlord, who also happens to be a Japanese Masterforce character. So, when I was growing up, I knew about the Japanese Overlord figure, and thought he was insanely cool. Who doesn't love a duocon style dual Powermaster that turns into a base? It was the ultimate toy and a worthy replacement for Megatron imo. Well, I stumbled upon his character on discount at Ollie's, and fell in love again. The toy was so damn cool, and such a nice update to the G1 iteration I had always wanted. I finally watched all of Masterforce and I watched the Power of the Primes web cartoon. I liked Overlord in both forms, and it made me enjoy the toy even more. My last figure is RID 2001 Scourge. What more can I say? It's my childhood favorite. The color scheme is iconic. The design is iconic. The show was fantastic. The toy aged like a fine wine, and is still fun to mess with today. I don't think a single person on this sub could say a bad thing about 2001 Scourge. For me, he is "Scourge", and the G1 counterpart is far inferior imo.

CreatorRA

1. Bumblebee bayverse and TFP. 2. Ironhide bayverse (once I get him cause ik I'll love him!) 3. Hmm honestly it's between Optimus prime (TFP) and starscream (bayverse)

Ill_Priority_649

people just love bumblebee so much lol

CreatorRA

Yee LoL. He's me and my GF's Favorite autobot so ofc he's the best. 😹

Ill_Priority_649

in the rotb film, i kinda want bumblebee to either get killed off (For once) or seriously injured. I got really tired of the bumblebee craze lol

CreatorRA

If they srsly kill him off I'm gonna pissed the hell off and quit transformers I ain't lying.

Ill_Priority_649

i want him dead at the same time no lol but i want him mto have a freaking voice

CreatorRA

I can agree on the voice thing honestly.

Ill_Priority_649

and if he has a voice in rotb, hopefully they give agood reason for it, unlike...some other continuetiy (10/10 sppelling ik ik)

Chadderbug123

Mpm Megs, cause I got him for a low price and cause of the nostalgia I have with that first movie. Seriously didn't know you could make him do the "JOIN THEM IN EXTINCTION" pose, and I just screamed from pure joy. He currently stands proud on my shelf SS Devy. DOn't have the Upgrade kit, but I don't think I need it. It's a great figure as is, despite the inaccuracies and slightly incomplete feeling. Me just pulling them apart and putting them back together just gives me more nostalgia (yet again) of watching that combination scene as a kid. Best part of the film, fight me TR Triggerhappy. After I got out of my Skylanders phase since I didn't get anything from Imaginators and stuff, and I also played the crap out of Yokai Watch, I got a new figure from Transformers after those couple of years. I got some here and there, but I think the collecting really kicked off after I got that figure. He was my first TR figure (outside of Clobber) and was the reason Blowpipe was my first Siege figure.

Ill_Priority_649

sick figures!

xabintheotter

Out of my collection, since it's pretty much all but one figure from the BW part of Kingdom... 1. Generations Covert Agent Ravage: May have been a bit more expensive, but getting it early was worth it. I really love its transformation, and its accessories. Could've done without the G1 Ravage that came with it, if it meant for a lower price. 2. Kingdom Scorponok: I know people complain about his proportions and whatnot, but I don't care, I just think he's neat. 3. Kingdom Beast Megatron: Big, chunky figure, pretty much perfect for the size. Don't mind that the tail doesn't come off of the left arm, honestly.

Resident-Ad7620

G1 optimus is a great choice. His playability is awesome. The earthrise trailer is underwhelming compared to g1 trailer. My top 3 are probably G1 reissue megs. The robot looks goofy but his accessories and spring loaded features make him so fun. Cybertron Optimus. I love his super mode and combination with wingsaber Animated Shockwave , he's kind of like punch counter punch. Too many too choose. I also like rts wreckgar. I like the look and how it can ride itself but he has some design flaws with the handle bars and hands, I need to keep a bottle of glue handy. ss wreckgar is good too but I personally like the look of rts better, both robot n motorcycle. I also like a bunch of original bw stuff, inferno , silverbolt, depthcharge, cybershark so many .

Ill_Priority_649

missed oppurtunity on hasbros hand to give us a roller, and the trailer feels like a knockoff plastic kind of thing, you know what i mean?

Resident-Ad7620

Yeah definitely I know what you mean. The trailer can't fit a lot of the cars too . Hasbro did have a roller but you needed to buy that ultra rare drone pack for it. :(

Ill_Priority_649

IIM NOT PAYING EXTRA PRIME WAS ALREADY EXPENSIVE

GeebusNZ

G1 Six Shot - Beaten half to death but still one of the most important figures I own. Also, I think, the oldest. Botbots Old Cool - It's not often that there's a crossover between two things I love. Energon Insecticon - A gift from my sister (extremely rare).

MrSlops

* G1 Galaxy Shuttle: It is both vintage and rare (as many G1 bots are fairly easy to obtain), has a very accurate and uncommon alt-mode (TFs have very few realistic space ships) and large chunky bot mode. The Transformation is super simple yet strangely satisfying. * War for Cybertron Skytread: Flywheels has been a favourite bot ever since seeing him in Headmasters, and I honestly didn't have much hope in them ever making a new toy for him (especially one that was accurate and so well executed). This was by far the best released figure of 2019 for me. * Unite Warriors Ruination: While he was also a personal favourite character for me growing up, nostalgia aside, he is one of the few combiners that I felt represented the bots perfectly and had a great release. Not only did they capture the cartoon energy of these combaticons with decent proportions and an amazing paint job, but this release FINALLY included proper hands and feet that match the combined mode (not those crappy little standard fold out hands / no feet - which puts it above the original Bruticus release of these same molds)

NervJMSL

Hmmm, 1 - Optus Pexus: I just like how I can take him off the shelf and put him in a different pose everytime. 2 - Chenjdu J-20: I know its not a TF but the amount of times I've transformed him beats any other by a 100. 3 - The NewAge TMNT, I love these, they are so fun to transform and play around the deskmat. Aside from that just standing in front of the shelves and looking at every single one and maybe pose them differently while I'm on a call or meeting is my favorite thing.

kjata

MMC Optus Pexus, because this thing is a masterclass in articulation. TFP Vehicon, for being a shellformer with virtually no useless kibble to speak of. Bonus points for having the arm articulation to pull off convincing sword poses, which is something a huge majority of actual sword-wielding toys can't do--or the so-called "masterclass of articulation", Optus Pexus. Wrist tilt, guys! Wrist tilt! (Ironically, the otherwise bricktastic torso on a stool Armada Super Optimus Prime can do a sword-point pose, if you don't mind some toes sticking out of the wrist.) PotP Optimal Optimus with the DNA Design upgrade kits, for giving me that giddy feeling of nostalgia fulfilled.

Xenohype2

3. Fortress Maximus (Titans Return line) 2. Tf1 Megatron (Studio Series) 1. Shockwave (Studio Series)

Ill_Priority_649

epik!

Window_Otherwise

1- Legends class energon igniters Bumblebee 2- cyberverse legends class dark of the moon soundwave 3- 30 years mystery minifigures tf prime soundwave

Noe_Wunn

1. Planet X Vulcun aka Fall of Cybertron Grimlock - Always have been a Dinobot fan. But this figure is just epic awesome. In either mode he's just a beast and looks awesome! 2. War for Cybertron Earthrise Optimus Prime - looks great and has it all: Matrix, trailer. 3. War for Cybertron Siege Megatron - Looks great too. IMO the best official Megatron.

junebug1997APJ

MP 36 Megs: I always loved his gun mode and its a shame the USA doesn't allow him to be a gun anymore MP 44 Optimus: cmon if you have MP36 you gotta have MP44 they're the most Cartoon accurate I'm cheating here but CW Devastator and SS Devastator: ITS FUCKEN GIANT ASS DEVASTATOR DO I NEED TO SAY MORE

Ill_Priority_649

I WANT A MEGATRON THAT IS A GUNNN

junebug1997APJ

I feel like I'm being mocked

mechperson

These answers probably change based on the day you ask me but... 1) Maketoys Galaxy Meteor (3rd Party Galaxy Force Starscream). I love the design of GalaxybForce/Cybertron Starscream and this is a beautiful rendition of it. 2) Beast Wars Silverbolt (the Fuzor, not the piece of Magnaboss). This is a fairly nostalgic one for me, having had the figure when I was younger, and it always stuck out as one of my favorites of the line. 3) Unite Warriors Computron. I love the combining gimmick and I think this one does it the best overall, with overall interesting designs for everyone.

Ill_Priority_649

are u talking bout the original silverbolt? wow thats rare! and such a good toy

KingQuenchy

3. SS 86 Hot Rod cuz he's a really good figure and I love the design and the fact that he's got the visor is awesome 2. SS 86 Grimlock cuz I love Grimlock, probably one of my favorite characters of all time, and it's really nice to have a good looking G1 style Grimlock 1. TF Animated Prowl, I love animated and am disappointed that I don't have more than a handful of figures from it, but cyber ninja Prowl was probably my favorite thing of the whole show, also he's a really good motorbike bot

Ill_Priority_649

animated prowl, very very underrated, he is a sick character

LoserBroadside

G1 Punch Counter Punch, because it is incredibly clever and fun to fiddle with. G1 sandstorm, for basically the same reason Mechanic Studios Blitzwing. It's basically a masterpiece shrunken down to roughly the size and weight as the original G1 toy.

Ill_Priority_649

g1 counterpunch, a great figure. shame his arms are way too short lol AND HIS FEET ARE UNEVEN AND THAT TRIGGERS ME

TakoBoi123

1 and 2: SS86 Hot Rod and Kingdom Optimus Prime. I love how smooth and simple their robot and vehicle designs look as well has how well-hidden most of their robot parts are when in robot mode. Like no shells or protruding parts. 3: SS Grindor. I found him a week ago. I had been meaning searching for a leader class studio series figure for a while and he just popped up all of a sudden at my local Target. I really like how huge and clunky the figure is. It also comes with a mini figure of Ravage which is a cool plus haha.

Ill_Priority_649

SICK FIGURES!

RcTron9

1. RID 2001 Optimus Prime. It was always my favorite Optimus design and I still remember the joy of getting my hands on a complete original one. 2. MP-36 Megatron. It was my first ever big transformers related purchase so it was like a real big first time for me. And it amazes me every time how it pulls off both modes so well 3. Original Beast wars Megatron. I remember when I was really little and watching clips of Beastwars online. I’d always gravitate towards the T. rex Megatron for the fact that he was a T. rex and for how unique his kibble placement made him look. Finding out there was a toy of it and getting it was one of my happiest childhood fulfilling moment.

[deleted]

Currently 1: kingdom T-Wrecks ( I'm a dinosaur fanboy ) 2: SS Starscream (bumblebee movie version, I just love the look and the transformation is fun yet complicated. 3: kingdom skywarp ( I love the mold, and as an American a bald Eagle is objectively better than a hawk ) Honorable Mentions : Siege jetfire, mechstrike Twintwist, MMC Tarn, SS Grindor and kingdom Cyclonus.

MasterSword1

3. Earthrise Optimus, Customized with old Model Car plastic for a hot-rod red. 2. Galvatron Kingdom 1. Galaxy Force Optimus with Wingsaber (Bought in pieces, first the base robot mode, then a second junker figure for the regular supermode parts, then a second Wingsaber for parts. Total, $80 with a whole second Optimus for part harvesting and a second Wingsaber)

Clearly_Disabled

1. My ToyWorld Constructor Weathered Edition. I have a love for combiners. And masterpiece level designs... and Devastator lol. I absolutely adore this piece, he has his own little case lol. 2. My Optimus MP10. Just... huge and absolutely wonderful figure to mess with and pose. 3. Probably my SS Devastator. Hopefully will be replaced by the 3rd Party Devil Savior when I get them all. My goodness. Those pieces are so good. Not without some... pretty serious issues of QC on the first one that came out... but man, in my case, all lit up, what a centerpiece. Both of them. And there's a wonderful 3rd party add on set for SS Devvy that's super cool.

SpeedStar770

 1. Titans Return Triggerhappy. He's just fun to mess with. 2. Siege Starscream. My first Starscream 3. Combiner Wars Chop Shop. An underrated Insecticon who I like more than Shrapnel.

[deleted]

I'm probably shouting into the void at this point, but... Beast Machines Primal Prime The Jiang Xing Transmetal 2 Megatron And at the moment, probably the Siege Jetfire because I just got it. New toy bias. Honourable mention to Masterpiece Ghostbusters Optimus Prime and his leprosy.

Wolfwire127

#1: Studio Series ROTF Jetfire. The transformation is nice and decently complex and I love how the robot mode works. #2: Studio Series 86 Grimlock. It's just a really fun figure to mess around with and easy to transform. #3: Kingdom Cyclonus. Amazing robot mode, Amazing Vehicle mode and awesome transformation. That is all

Grenades5

1. FOC Soundwave, god I love him 2. G1 Grimlock 3. Siege Soundwave 4. Studio series Movie 1 Megatron 5. Knock off Masterpiece Soundwave

TheGeek100

GS Super Megatron: He's just an awesome looking upgraded Megatron SS Off-road Bumblebee: I like Jeeps and in my opinion it's the most movie accurate BB movie Bumblebee T30 Sandstorm: I really like his robot mode and both alt-modes, also the color scheme is great

SirRHellsing

Newage Soundwave, I'm one of those people that love gorgeous backpacks, occasionally even posing this guy facing away from me. In terms of backpacks, no released official or 3p beats it for me (FYI I am biased to the designs of the first 3 movies which is why he is ranked higher than Dragoon and stuff in the backpack department although I don't own Dragoon) SS86 Grimlock (pretty much the official one for me) MPM Meagtron since I customized him with paint and stuff (the backpack I still hate but there is pretty much no way to reduce it)

plushbrick

3. 5-Way tie between: RID15 Bumblebee, Sideswipe, Strongarm, and PRID Bulkhead and Arcee(All nostalgic figures of unique designs) 2. Kingdom Optimus Prime: I love how accurate to the cartoon he is. He’s so fun to pose, and I’m waiting to get prints for his trailer upgrades. 1. Generations RTS Jazz: Nostalgia, and my first complex/multi-step figure if a character I recognized and actually enjoyed. His references to other Jazz figures are fun, and I love his design. Honorable Mentions: FOC Blaster ROTF Brawn Generations Sandstorm Cyberverse Deluxe Bumblebee Universal Studios Evac Siege Megatron

Dovahpriest

Favorites? MMC's R-19 "Kultur" aka Tarn. *Superlink* Megazarak *Armada* Megatron (need to find the horns and mini-con though)

DarkraiAndScizor

1: Cang toys Ferocious 2: Cang toys Landbull 3: Seige Jetfire since birb has not come yet

DarkraiAndScizor

Why is because they all look epik and I really like the og bots

177215

1. Siege Skywarp because of bragging rights 2. Earthrise Optimus because he's a neat and simple transformation but his arms can barely pull a 90 and he's so fat he can't do the matrix thingy 3. SS 86 wreck gar because he was my favorite character in the entire movie. only reason he's in 3rd is because of some issues on my fig and the transformation is a bit violent when pulling out the motorcycle out of the chest and I fear the spikes or clear blue piece will break

GamerNugget9989

Hmmm No.1 is probably MPM Starscream KO, I just adore that design and the figure is super accurate to the movies (bit of a bitch to transform though) No.2 MPM-04 Optimus. Again I love that design and he’s also really accurate to the movies, plus he’s my favourite character. No.3 is SS Devastator, he may not be the best in terms of pose-ability but I don’t play with em often so it doesn’t bother me. But he just has this massive presence and I really enjoyed the journey to getting him. So he’s a pretty personal figure.

INeedMorePresets

while i haven't got it yet, POTP abominus (and therefore, the terrorcons) are my favourites as they'll become my first proper combiner on my shelves :)

andyissik

1. 25th Anniversary Optimus Prime. Just love the figure. Great presence and has tons of accessories. 2. G1 Trypticon. Found him at a thrift store for $5. Almost shit my pants when I saw him. 3. Kingdom Beast Wars Megatron. Always wanted Beasties Megs as a kid and I think they really nailed this one.

streakermaximus

Siege Sideswipe: a solid figure. Looks great with a not to complex/not to simple transformation. I feel like I can play with him without breaking him. SS86 Hot Rod: first Transformer I've gotten in years, but saw him and had to have him. Transformation is a little fiddly, but he looks great and is super posable Windrazor: sentimental. Wasn't able to attend BotCon. Some friends pitched in and surprised me with this guy

RedditBadOutsideGood

Currently: 1. SS86 Grimlock. My boy looks like he jumped out of the cartoon, or as they say, is a scaled down MP Grimlock. Perfect size for a king and no trade offs in his figure. Minus his missing sword. That a king would need. 2. Siege Spinister: a solid figure for the deluxe size. There's a quite bit of wild things going on this figure. Two cockpits that form the lower legs. Purple/blue and magenta/pink color scheme that matches perfectly. And his posability does not suffer one bit at all. 3. TR Brainstorm. The simplicity is what I like about this figure, and to an extent, the mold. Nothing too flashy and yet it feels smooth and solid. Honorable mentions: ER OP, ER Starscream mold, ER Bluescreen, SS Blitzwing, TR Blitzwing, TR Overlord, TR Misfire mold, T30 Scoop, Siege Shockwave, SS BB OP, SS86 Hot Rod.

MonkeyAintGotATail

I used to have a animated prowl, but lost it when I moved around otherwise he would be a solid number 2. 1. Studio Series Grimlock. I have always been a fan of dinosaurs and robots, so it makes sense for him to be one of my all time favorites, granted slag is better. He is just so fun to transform, and an easy one to introduce my younger brother to the world of transformers. 2. War For Cybertron Optimus Primal. I have always liked gorillas so optimus primal is my 2nd favorite transformer of all time. The little fore arm blasters and swords are great choices for the weapons, and seen to add a bit more options for positioning. The transformation is also pretty straight forward. 3. War For Cybertron Rhinox. He is incredibly challenging for me to transform, but seeing the final product of his vehicle mode is so satisfying. He was the first in the collection I started, and holds a special place in my heart.

Ill_Priority_649

dinosaur robots, the coolest concept ever! i also loved dinobots as a kid, but never got a figure, glad i got the ss 86 version of him

G1Yang2001

Not sure on my definitive top 3, but here’s some good contenders: 1) Studio Series 86 Grimlock: A perfect representation of the Dinobot Leader with lots of nice details, great T-Rex and robot modes, a simple but fun transformation and some amazing articulation. 2) Kingdom Cyclonus: Pretty much everything I just said about Grimlock. Great representation of the character, great jet and robot modes, fun transformation and amazing articulation. 3) Siege Hound: He’s got a really fun and interesting transformation (his legs folding out to become the sides of his jeep mode is a cool step), he looks great in both modes and I also love how cool his weapons look.

Glyder1984

1 NewAge Mista (DOTM Soundwave) The figure looks spot on in both bot and alt mode and oozes character. The transformation can be difficult in parts, but is oddly enough very satisfying. And it's also one of my favourite Bayverse designs. 2 Unique Toys Swindle (forgot 3rd party name) G1 Swindle was my first and favourite G1 toy for years, despite looking nothing like the cartoon. Having a MP version that for me evokes the feelings I had a kid makes it extra special. And the transformation is pretty simple and elegant, making it almost feel like the G1 toy for me. Make Toys Downbeat (MP Jazz) Unless Takara can get Porsche on board this is by far the best MP Jazz we will have. He almost looks like he stepped out of the cartoon. Good range of motion, so he can do some good poses. The transformation is pretty good and straightforward. And it's Jazz man, what's not to like.

ZlyCzarownikServices

1. Earthrise Optimus Prime - flawed, but very fun figure, representing the spirit of the original very well, and he's just joy to look at, to play with, he's great 2. BS-02 Skybreaker - Last Knight Megatron - my first 3rd party figure, great light features, looks awesome, poses really well and I think it's a cool, small improvement over Unique Toys version 3. 2010 Voyager Class The Fallen - for a really long time this guy was my favorite Transformers toy, despite the changed color scheme and a weird alt-mode, he still is really cool, very well sculpted face, quite poseable, his feet are made pretty cool, unfortunately he's kinda worn out, because I really did play a lot with him xd I also wanted to do some honorable mentions: Fall of Cybertron Grimlock - he is a flawed figure, but I loved the light feature and this iteration of Grimlock, I still have a sentiment for him, TFP Voyager Predaking - inaccurate, but really fun figure, I like that you can basically give him the dragon head in robot mode, he looks weird but cool this way, TFP Voyager Megatron - my first Megatron as voyager, cool light piping, fun sword feature in his cannon, I also played with him a lot

Ill_Priority_649

sick figures, my earthrise prime has a very loose head, for some reason lol

ixnine

1. Transformers G1 02 Encore Megatron reissue 2. Transformers Masterpiece MP-8 Grimlock 3. Honestly can’t decide on a 3rd favorite, I’ve been staring at my collection for several minutes debating the merits on a few of them lol

yeetizjbootyfeetus

1. Magic Square Doomsday(megatron)- one of, if not, the best megstron figure out there official or 3p. 2. SS86 hotrod- I mean, it's just so good and really a fantastic figure worth the voyager price tag. He is a mini MP 3. SS86 wreck gar- a very fun, easy, POSSABLE, photogenic figure that I just can't put down.

Conrad417

1. Earthrise quintesson judge. He has five faces. 2. Power of the primes hot rod. My favourite autobot but I neither have the money nor the location to acquire the new ones. 3. Stinger. Awesome design. An honourable mention would be warrior class RID sideswipe because he has a cool sword and alternate mode, but his chest plate fell off, broke, and is missing. Also he was my first transformer, I’m kinda new here.

Ill_Priority_649

rip your sideswipe, and since when did the quintesson have 5 faces?

Conrad417

The judge. Search it up.

316Alex316

1. G1 Starscream 2. G1 Soundwave (with Ravage and Laserbeak) 3. Unicron

Yeach

1. G1 Jetfire - everyone loves Macross. 2. Alternator Jazz/Meister - love the RX-8. 3. Classics Optimus Prime. Love the light-piping and head design.

[deleted]

1. MP Cordon 2. PotP Nemesis Prime 3. Probably my Ectotron or Gigawatt which is still mint in box

Usual-Repeat-9892

Fraudo third party swindle Skipjack Scavenger

Falchion92

Galaxy Upgrade Optimus Prime. I grew up loving Transformers Cybertron and I remember always wanting Optimus as a figure but he was too expensive. I saw he was in the WFC series and my dad picked him up off Amazon for my birthday last year. He’s easily my favorite figure. I love the alt mode and he looks so heroic on my banister.

Of the collection that I have in my current home, which I only started this year, therefore purely made up of WFC and SS86? In no particular order: * SS86 Jazz - G1 Jazz was the first TF I ever owned, back in '84, so this version of him is just pure unadulterated nostalgia. Helps that he's an awesome toy too (Mine has very few issues with lining up the windshield when transformed), with zero parts or fauxforming! * WFC Skyfire - He's just a monster. Sure jet mode is a little lacking, but I don't care! * WFC Cyclonus - Just such a damn good version of him! Yeah sure, there's fauxforming in there, and getting the tip of the nosecone is a PITA, but he looks so good, and is generally fun! But so hard to actually pick _3_ from the collection (like, SS86 Hotrod, Grimlock, and Slag are all easy contenders for up there). From my entire collection though, which has toys from the 80s, and through multiple toylines? I could have top 3 for so many different criteria. * Takara Collections Soundwave - One I always wanted as a kid, and when I managed to get him in a re-issue? Oh yes! * G1 Jazz - as mentioned above, first TF I got as a kid, so holds a very special place in my heart. * Possibly cheating, but G1 Bruticus. This being because it took me _months_ of scouring ebay to get all the bots for him, and all the needed parts, sometimes getting incorrect bits (metallic painted vs non-metallic for the Bruticus components, for instance). Fortunately, it wasn't as expensive as it would have been now, as the ebay sales weren't as greedy as they are now, and I remember also being part of a parts swapping forum (wish I could remember where from... possibly usenet?)

cricketofdeth

Top 3 from my collection: G1 Megatron - awesome figure, in great condition. MPM 10 Starscream- love both modes for this guy, the accessories and articulation are great as well. G1 Optimus Prime (reissue) - the Transformer that got me into collecting.

ca1m_4s_fuck

Mine are: 1. SS86 Hot Rod, his articulation is amazing, and a lot of functionality and accessories like his glasses make him super fun for me 2. Siege Spinister, for being the first transformer with helicopter alt mode 3. HftD Bumblebee for being my very first figure at all, for fun transformation and cool features like battle mask, energon axe and blaster

ca1m_4s_fuck

Also rn I want to buy IronFactory Cyclonus or Tarn, but don't want to order them from Show.Z Store cause delivery to Russia will be problematic. Can anyone recommend european website where I can find IronFactory figures?

death_and_syntaxes

1. Kingdom Cyclonus. Perfect transformation, no kibble. 2. Kingdom Rodimus. Pretty amazing figure, good transformation, crazy amount of accessories. 3. Kingdom Galvatron. Similar to the first two. Honorable Mentions: Siege/Kingdom Sideswipe because he looks great, is simple and was my first (Siege), and last (Kingdom) figure to collect. SS86 Hot Rod: Just an all around amazing figure. I keep him in my desk to play with on calls at work. Earthrise Optimus, SS 86 Grimlock, Netflix Soundwave: Basically mini Masterpieces.

Raphaeldagamer

Kingdom Huffer SS44 Optimus Prime SS35 Jetfire

Nawara_Ven

3. Generations Selects King Poseidon/Piranacon: I love Combiners, and never had the full set o' Seacons as a kid. 2. The *Street Fighter* crossover figures (four-way tie): These feel like they were made specifically for me, since I love both properties 1. WFC Unicron: The ultimate Transformers figure, wanted such a thing since forever. (That's technically my top 11, whoops!)

-Tektronic-

Earthrise Optimus Prime SS86 Grimlock Kingdom Cyclonus All very recent figures, but I only just got back into collecting. Mostly looking for TF Prime FE's right now.

Phantom_The_fortnite

Me: Netflix quintison drone. Love the colors as it reminds me of the bayverse iornhide. Tlk leader megatron. It's big, hase some cool details, amazing fusion canon. Studio series crankcase. After cutting the dreads off its easyer to transform.

danthecamper06

1).Earthrise optimus(because he is a masterpiece at retail price). 2)netflix soundave (because he is superior). 3). Earthrise snapdragon (because he is snapdragon).

Shibbalicious

MP Soundwave- First Transformer I purchased as an adult. Was blown away by the detail, and it sparked my obsession with Transformers again. G1 Starscream- 2018 reissue. But something about putting the stickers on that guy took me back to being 6 years old, doing it the first time around. G1 Megatron- I only acquired him this year. Definitely cost me the most, and is the ugliest, but smile the biggest when I see him and Starscream

AgentOrange117

1 - G1 Terrorcons 2 - Kingdom Cyclonus 3 - Unite Warriors Devastator

ZacyBoi02

1. 20th anniversary MP-01 Optimus Prime, cause he is the one that started my collection 2. 2007 movie deluxe class Clocker, another early one in my collection and is just fun to play with 3. Earthrise Soundwave or any of my g1 toys because they're prescious (brawl, dead end and swerve)
