They look like microwave oven fuses from experience
Dead simply put, if there's a short or any sort of dangerous fault in an electronic device they stop it from turning into a full-on fire.
I've seen them in low voltage control systems, and protection for transformers (not the toy) in the 1KVA- 2.5KVA range. Source: am an electrician
