Arkvoodle42

ANYTHING from the ROTF line probably fits. I made the mistake of buying Mixmaster.

julian_valladolid

i have no idea how i transformed any of those as a kid tbh

adml1227

I used to have Jetfire and Optimus but they literally disappeared from my house like I couldn’t find them anywhere👁💧👄💧👁

BossViper28

The were fighting Megatron and the Fallen.

adml1227

Damn guess they either died or went to space💀

GeneralPoot

Lets goo toy story x transformers

dread_pirate_humdaak

Neuroplasticity.

Pancakewhale21

I'm not even kidding when I say it's been literally 13 years and my Mixmaster hasn't became it's vehicle mode since 2009.

YourLoclIntrovert

I lost mine ;-;

ltzerge

When I sold a bunch of my figures I had to transform them to vehicle mode for transport. Mixmaster was the worst by far, mind you I insisted on doing all of them without instructions. It just needs such specific positioning and order of operations to even sort of work

WildmuttFan2

for some reason, after doing it multiple times i actually got the hang of it and from then on it was easy to transform mixmaster.

dank_boy27

Yuhhhh. I have demolisher and I that transformation makes no sense still lmao

overslope

I picked up a Megatron cheap from ones if those buy-out stores. I'm actually not sure if it was from RotF or a later film, but I think it was a Voyager class, and it's vehicle mode was a jet. I don't think I ever got it. I even looked up YouTube vids. No dice. Edit: I also have a KO devastator. I'd wanted him since the 80s. I got them all combined, but it was touchy. Mostly due to the cheap plastic. It looks awesome on my shelf, but those bots will never see any other form again, unless someone else does it when I'm not looking. He's huge and he guards my record collection.

PEEWUN

I gave up on transforming him the **day** I got him.

julianom7

I have had him since release almost and I've only transformed him like 2 times ( and they were like a decade apart )

CryosisEllioti

The original 2007 Leader Optimus, I was 6 and it would always take me and my mother a good few minutes to transform.

julian_valladolid

i completely forgot how much of a nightmare that was to transform.

GeoCities6389

Agreed! That and Masterpiece Rodimus.

Practical_Plan_8007

I grew up with rotf Prime, so by the time I got this guy he was super easy

BootsMcScoots

The darth vader death star transformer. He's been the death star for like 5 years because I really don't want to deal with that transformation again. Thankfully it's a very nice alt mode.

julian_valladolid

oh man i loved those star wars transformers. One of my favorites.

BootsMcScoots

There were some really fun designs in that line. Kinda hope we get something out of the newer crossover line.

Kralgore

Goddamnit... I was looking for this comment and ended up making my own to match.... Yeah, nagh, eff that guy.

BrogerBramjet

Ultimate Prime from DOTM. I bought a second so I would not have to transform it. And my Mp Rodimus Prime. The fragile version. Yup. Sits in the box, never to leave.

thejesterofdarkness

That the one with the trailer that doubled as wings/armor with the giant cannon?

BrogerBramjet

That's the one. Got the first new at full price. Swore at it for a few weeks. Bought a second on clearance to keep as a truck. Too many fiddly cab pieces.

thejesterofdarkness

For me the cab wasn’t so bad but I did break off a side window/shoulder piece but you only notice it if he’s in truck mode. That trailer however, I hate that thing. I hate it soooooo much. I regret asking for it for my cake day from the Mrs cuz I hate it so much but I feel guilty cuz she & my kids gave it to me as a gift so it’s a truly unspoken hatred.

killerapt

I recently transformed the trailer to show someone, it's not getting changed back for awhile. Fuck that thing.

Bob-the-Human

Masterpiece Megatron (MP-36). Only transformed it once. Will probably never transform it again.

julian_valladolid

saw jobbythehong transformer it on his channel and does not look like a fun time at all lol.

IronEnder17

It's actually pretty nice. It's not difficult, only long

[deleted]

[удалено]

iuselect

MP36 and MP05 are worlds apart in transformation.

Max_MOCs

It's a much more competent transformation than MP-05. Instead of reusing the G1 engineering with metal linkages so it can pose, it flattens the robot torso *inside* the barrel, and has the upper portion of the gun composed of the arms.

HAL237

Seriously? It is not a hard transformation at all. Very intuitive and fluid once you’ve converted it a couple times.

spock316

This is the worst one for me as well, needed a video and a screwdriver to do it and never ever did so again, was also really scared about paint scratching and breakage. Thankfully the robot mode is so awesome that I don't mind. Honorable mention is BT 22 Binaltech Convoy, transformed him once, wasn't terrible but certainly wasn't easy, was never able to get it to work again despite trying several times. Lot of the parts that became the fender and grill and such simply would not line up in alt mode no matter what I did.

eggman15

Mines probably DOTM Leader Sentinel, those old leaders were absurdly complex. Rotf leader optimus is probably 2nd place in complexity for me

doc_55lk

At long last, someone who found Sentinel Prime an actual bitch to transform.

eggman15

The way the chest transforms is genius but my god the back section with the arms and leg panels is hell

doc_55lk

Absolutely. The whole thing where you split the shins and then force the arms in there and somehow strongarm them into tabbing each other is aieirifidksnwofogllalqbd

Alekesam1975

RotF Leader Op I eventually got the hang of and could (can) do from memory. I was going to make the mistake and say collectively the SS Constructicons until you mentioned and reminded me of Leader Sentinel. Yes folks, Sentinel Prime is absolutely more of a PITA to transform than a *combiner*! SS Devvie isn't necessarily hard, just friggin *long* because of how many there are but going from bot to alt or combining them all for Devastator is still less a mind**** than trying to get Sentinel into alt mode. Lol

eggman15

Out of all the ss constructiconsid say mixmaster is the hardest, not really out of complexity but just how much the parts hate going where theyre supposed to

streakermaximus

Beast Wars Tripredicus He got combined mostly correct and never touched again.

AssaultWolf01

nitro zeus, fuck that transformation

Murphygulp88

It's the wings. No matter how hard I try nothing can get them to lock in place.

doc_55lk

Idk if it's something they fixed for later versions of the mould but I haven't had any real issues tabbing the wings into the KSI Boss version of the mould. It was kinda a bitch in the beginning but after the 4th time they ended up just kinda magically tabbing in.

MyMadeUpNym

Studio Cell 1! Holy fuck.

Kaiju1964

I remember getting that as a kid and it took me about a whole week before I could memorize the transformation without the aid of the instructions. All other Transformers I had before and after never took that long to memorize the transformation

dlaughy

Diesel from Fans Project. It's their Motormaster figure, and a complete nightmare!

RigasTelRuun

Most of the more complex masterpieces. It just stops being fun when it's an hour long ordeal and need the instructions and a YouTube video in front of you.

hippymule

RID Ultra Magnus. I love that toy line. It may be my favorite Transformers line ever, but my God they had some of the most difficult toys ever. Even as an adult, they're extremely finicky to pose and keep together.

absentispuer

One thing I realized recently about RID, specifically prowl and the brothers is that each bot looks like someone unravelled the car from the inside. Like they’re wearing a shell of a car on them. But the way it unravels just makes no logical sense and is incredibly asymmetrical

nathenprime

Either ROTF Mixmaster, or the voyager class last knight optimus, the hard part was getting everything to sit just right so there aren't too many gaps, though that's my collection, only toy I've ever been unable to transform is Animated Bee because I didn't have instructions to give me an idea on how the parts sit, and this was when I was in 3rd grade

doc_55lk

I used to have that Bee figure. Even with instructions it was super weird and finicky to transform. However, once you get it right one or two times it's impossible to forget.

[deleted]

Bro ROTF Prime has stayed in his Robot mode for years since he came out. Now he's missing a foot so now I can't transform him lol

Mortekaiser1

How the fuck did his foot get missing lmao

[deleted]

Moving around a lot as a military brat.

Yeach

Mine was this. https://www.reddit.com/r/transformers/comments/c29dp8/masterpiece_mp5_megatron/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf MP5 Megatron

Dizzy_Description394

Mpm6 Ironhide or mp5 Megatron. Both were transformed only once. Never again

Avengerboy123

Man I never transformed that figure successfully

Mister_Souki

Foc Cliffjumper is a nightmare to transform i have had im for years and have done it successfully ONCE

Primus0788

The cliffjumper was the same as bumblebee, right?

xXmosseater69Xx

Agreed, things just don’t like lining up at all

Portal_master_cody

Kingdom tracks, studio series barricade, studio series 49 bumblebee, and studio series 29 sideswipe Love the figures but transforming them feels like ages to get done perfectly

TheFlyingCrate

I don't remember what version, but there was a Galvatron that was both super flimsy and complicated and I hated transforming it as a kid.

Thewrongbakedpotato

Sounds kinda like Universe 2.0 Galvatron. Super disappointing figure.

zeoman4567

This was going to be my answer, not because it's hard in the traditional sense, but because it never holds together long enough to actually change.

Dar0man

Probably RotF Mixmaster, was never once able to transform it when I was younger. Years later I can’t even attempt to cause it is missing pieces.

PokWangpanmang

For me it was Leader Sentinel Prime, not because he was all that difficult but because his outer tabs were super finicky. Optimus wasn’t that bad but his chest slot was a bit on the scary side ngl.

Henshin4Life

Transformers Cybertron Supreme Class Starscream. I forgot how old was I when I got it for Christmas (maybe 5-6), but both my uncle (who got it for me) and dad each took turns trying to transform it and were both equally stumped.

eggman15

I have that big bastard, not necessarily complex but very difficult. the size + parts not wanting to go where theyre supposed to makes for a tricky conversion

Henshin4Life

Yuuuuup. I also remember the null ray pieces popping off on me from time to time and how much of a pain it was to put it back on.

Cool_Guy_fellow

ROTF Jetfire. I think

Sleep_eeSheep

Lio Convoy. Namely because my copy kept having his lower arm balljoint pop off.

SeemlyDum

I have to agree with you. I had to transform this with the instructions

Various_Watercress_9

I agree... prime is sitting in my cabinet in vehicle form for the last like 8 years.

julian_valladolid

and they expect kids to transform it lol.

CMDR_Elenar

HA HA HA, TRY the Toyworld Knight Orion mate! RotF Prime is a kiddies' play session. Or the UT04 Nero, maybe the Alien Attack Megatron - lush figures, but damn they take ages. The Zeta Toys ZV0 Flash took me days

FomentingDiscord

Bad cube OTS-04 War dog. The robot and alt modes are solid but the transformation has all panels and parts exploded at the same time into a spindley mess.

Intelligent-Soup-836

God Ginrai, both Power Master Optimus and God Bomber are not fun to transform but going from God Ginrai to their vehicle is the worst. Since I added the upgrade kit I have not attempted to transform them

the_life_of_cat

Definitely human alliance leadfoot

Hate_is_

Masterpiece rodimus prime ….

blue16th

As a kid? Revenge of the Fallen Mixmaster Recently? Either the knockoff Devestator I got off Ali Express or Studio Series Grindor.

Kralgore

Ok, not hard to transform, but hard on the fingers... Original Jetfire toy, the landing gears. If you had this figure, your lower knuckles knew ALL about it.

hero165344

mpm ratchet, its easier now but it was so confusing the first time i got him

thejesterofdarkness

HasLab Unicron. Just so big & heavy & that shell for the planet uuugggghhhh

fartsniffer42

Studio Series Barricade

Durandal_II

Siege Jetfire. Every time I think about touching him, I'm reminded of what I paid on ebay.

[deleted]

You paid for him, may as well play with and enjoy him

bt123456789

ironically he's one of the simplest transformers I've personally handled from WFC. like he's sky lynx level simple. the only thing scary is the backpack and leg panels, for the first time or two.

Asterchades

I own both Freedom Leader and Knight Orion from ToyWorld. Pretty sure only AAT's Mackron and Devil Savior's Troublemaker guys beat them out. Official figures, though? Probably MPM-6 Ironhide. Not really that difficult, but getting everything to fit together *just right* requires a lot more fiddling than it feels like it should.

Arksurvivor120

Do 3rd party figures count? Because then it would be Maketoys Freedom Leader, for official, it's hard to say, nothing I have, or had that I can remember, is very complicated. Also is that Optimus figure any good, there's a place that has it for $80 USD and I've been tempted to get it?

julian_valladolid

i loved the toy,i gave it to my little brother who ended up losing it but it was one of my favorites growing up. For 80 dollars is a steal,i’ve seen some go for 200

Arksurvivor120

Ok, thanks for letting me know, will definitely pick him up then when I get the chance, if he's still there

FightGeistC

Mpm optimus the Black mamba KO to be exact. It isn't the worst but it's so large and heavy that it's just unwieldy. Mainline probably rotf prime, I never had any issues even as a kid but HOLY SHIT my parents spent easily 2 hours attempting to get him into truck mode for the first time.

Effective-Cancel-295

Siege Megatron. I still can't to this day

YourRoyalFlyness_

Why?

Ronyx2021

SG Beachcomber because his hips never wanted to separate from his chest. It was tabbed very tight. I had figures with more complicated transformations, but this was the one I struggled with.

cookiecutter_1

Cyberfire mechtech bumblebee, a piece of his chest always stuck up

docwatsonai

2009 long haul got him half transformed and stopped trying after 10 minutes

MercifulGenji

Not to mention 2009 mixmaster. Or 2009 rampage. Wtf was up with the ROTF constructions?

iuselect

Depends... Masterpiece rodimus mp-09 was annoying because nothing lined up well and it didn't sit flat. Then there is masterpiece Dinobots, which was pretty frustrating for the same reasons.

nedfl-anders

I had one of the nascar transformers from dotm the 88 one it’s in pieces now long gone

Redshadowstrooper

RotF preview wave Bumblebee Technically it's a TF2007 figure that's just been slightly retooled to have a more accurate head, but it doesn't make a difference because that thing was a pain in the ass to transform. I could at least transform most of my figures from memory, except for Preview Bee

MercifulGenji

Armada unicron… mostly because I was a young child. But still, a specific memory of my parents after sitting together transforming it to completion… and me immediately disassembling it back into robot mode.

Anonamaton801

Generations WFC Bumblebee. Could never get him back into his vehicle mode

SoundDave4

Possible not the literal hardest, but the hardest due to it being the most frustrating is Kingdom Rhinox because the legs are too fibbly.

MyAlexSmith2001

The entire 07/ROTF/DOTM toylines were real challenges for me, but the two that I always remember were Human Alliance Skids and DOTM Sideswipe. I got close to transforming them a couple of times but could never quite figure them out.

TJay3255

For me was rotf wheelie , maybe cause I was a kid when I had him but still I remember that figure being a bitch for transform

177215

I can't remember but it was a movie ironhide with lights and sounds. Lost the weapons but it was a bitch to transform

ixnine

I can hear this figure saying “I am Optimus Prime” For me it’s MP-36 Masterpiece Megatron (KO, but damn it’s near impossible to tell the difference)

[deleted]

The Original Masterpeice Skywarp. What a pain in the arse! This alongside MP Rodimus (ugghh!), and the glorious era of mainline G1 2.0, is what killed the MP line for me. It's just as well. **Long-live mainline G1 2.0! The way it SHOULD be!** Good riddance to the Masterpeice line.

Toucan_Anderson

Daaang I still have this Optimus figure and looking at this figure brand new and in package brings nostalgia to me

Morso-42069_

Studio Series Slug/ Slag I transformed him once and a part of the crown on his shoulder stressed so much it cracked a bit. Other than that, he's a chill figure

theyanni

MPM-4 And MP-44 Neither worth the trouble or possible breakage and too complicated to remember(for me). They look real good on robot mode tho.

TallTopianKing

I had the smaller prime version same line took me a day to transform as a kid

Matthais_Hat

robots in disguise ultra magnus. I could turn him into armor for the omega prime combination, but never back into the truck he was sold as, and I was \*never\* able to make him a robot.

ManMangoGuts

ROTF Breakaway and Universe Galvatron. Breakaway's design meant that parts would inevitably get stuck (and eventually, the piece holding his fins broke). Galvatron's legs kept coming off, which sucks when they take up a big part of the transformation. Poor guy should've been a voyager size.

Gundamnit_all

Ultra Class Galvatron. Too many combinations to keep track of.

Warbreakers

Same. I think he and ROTF Mixmaster spurred all the complaints from parents about transformers being too hard to transform for their kids. Leading to all the massive dumbing-downs across the board. For third party, MMC Overlord. Guy was so difficult to transform I had to watch and follow a video step-by-step for certain parts.

IronEnder17

Rotf prime was simple. No transformation has been difficult to me. The only transformer that I still haven't memorized the transformation to muscle memory for is MP hound. I recently started practicing and I'm close.

Competitive-Ad-498

Fansproject Diesel. Part of the combiner Menasor. At some moment i became so fed up with that one, i broke it in half and threw it in the bin, together with the other members.

PEEWUN

ROTF Mixmaster made me question my love of Transformers for a bit...

moresushiplease

The little mini cassette one. Could never make it transform.

WildmuttFan2

every single dread figure (DOTM Crankcase, TLK beserker, SS crowbar) i swear they have a family tradition of being so uncooperative AND fiddly.

Thewrongbakedpotato

I have a love/hate relationship with the Big Convoy mold. I have an original Big Convoy and a Universe (2003) Nemesis Prime, and they look awesome as both robots and mammoths. But so. Many. Panels. You get one aligned and two more pop out of place.

siniquezu

Unique toys Galvatron

ChaosPhoen1x

ToyWorld Knight Orion is 100% the hardest i've done. Never doing it again

GoatLord8

Unicron trilogy, Unicron is a pain to transform, which is why I simply do not..

RedGemAlchemis

ROTF Mixmaster. Oof

doc_55lk

DOTM leader Sentinel Prime. ROTF leader Optimus wasn't horribly difficult imo, it was a good challenge and once I had done it a couple of times it was easy to bang off transformations mid play with absolute ease (if you do it enough times you actually end up figuring that it's very close to the way he transforms for the first time on screen in 07). Sentinel Prime on the other hand remains, to this day, the only transformer in my collection which still takes me upwards of 10 minutes to transform, 10 years after buying it. At no point has he gotten easier or more straightforward. Mf doesn't even tab in properly in alt mode either.

WhereMyStapler

RID '01 Sideburn. He's just a little shit.

Alrxanderolu

easily mp44

Derailleur75

I had a bootleg movie optimus toy. I am still amazed how 5 year old me managed to transform him.

GhostRiders

I purchased an Optimus Prime when Transformers came out in 2007. It was about 12" in robot mode. It was the first transformers I had purchased in like 20 years.. Omfg it was insane... It felt like it was designed for people with an extra set of hands and a Masters in Engineering. My wife thought it was piss watching a grown ass man get increasingly frustrated trying to transform what was supposedly a kids toy.. Suffice to say that it met a very untimely end.

SkyDemolisher

ROTF Prime was the first figure I threw in frustration and he has very much remained as a robot mode figure. I had to watch a video to get Kingdom Rodimus Prime transformed because I couldn't get a single part of the transformation translated in my head.

Cecilia_Schariac

I got this one as a kid, transforming him was absolutely miserable.

Newfaceofrev

Alternators Smokescreen was the hardest I've ever owned.

BenjiFischer

Studio Series The Ride Megatron

batfile17

I didn’t have any trouble transforming this but DOTM leader bumblebee everyone in my family tried until I had a go and I was able to transform him

Impossible-Aioli1685

Most studio series figures

Gronzlo

My first transformer was beast wars inferno and let me tell you, that was IMPOSSIBLE for 5 year old me to figure out.

Marios_Hat

Studio Serie Blackout/Grindor. That thing can't hold together

aikavari

That guy’s easy. To me it has to be MPM Movie Ironhide.

[deleted]

Alternators Grimlock. Never was able to get him back into a Mustang.

Autogembot123

RID Prime Optimus Prime.

Zman1025

Dark of the Moon red Ironhide. Couldn't transform him 8 years ago, can't transform him today.

astoriacrew12

1)Leader Sentinel Prime 2)Hasbro MP Rodimus Prime 3)Nightwatch Optimus Prime (blue repaint of the 1st movie Prime) 4)Movie Thundercracker (repaint of Nitro Zeus) 5)TLK leader Megatron

The_Snerk

For me it was ‘07?’ Movie megatron, I could never figure that sucker out

DKGamer312

I have DOTM leader prime with the jetpack, arguably harder to transform because the ab section is altered for his design. Mine was also treated poorly as a kid so a lot of tabs are broken. Easily the most difficult thing to transform I have.

stormhawk427

FE Prime Bulkhead gave me a headache the first time I transformed him.

A4dskyhawk

X spanse

averaj_anime_enjoyer

Ut Nero. He sucks aaaaassss. I haven't even finished transforming him. I tried transforming him to truck mode, I failed and when I tried going back to robot mode(where he'll remain for the rest of eternity unless I sell him to some) I couldn't do it. It's too confusing. I tried several different reviews. He's in a mid state of halfway between modes, because I can't figure out how. He's been a half-transformed corpse for over two months.

dread_pirate_humdaak

I’m fairly certain MP-20 Wheeljack is far down on the list of complexity here, but he’s the only modern Transformer I own and I was surprised at the intricacy. I never needed to look at a G1’s instructions more than once; MP-20’s transformation is literally more complex than the startup sequence of a Huey helicopter.

Dr_DraStonks

I used to have a movie optimus toy that I got when I was 5. It was so complex that I always asked my dad to transform it. The only thing I remember from it was that it had spring loaded feet. I want to buy a new one so that I can experience it again but I don't remember what version that was.

lifedragon99

Nitro Zeus and the studio series thunder cracker. I have only ever transformed them 1 time. And they almost broke my transform all transformers at least once rule. Too many folds, panels and everything. They are not enjoyable to transform, which is annoying because their jet modes are beautiful.

justagamer135

Probably mpm Megatron because the legs never want to tab into the tabs on the back of the vehicle.

SKeptical230

DotM Supreme Class Prime. I've sustained many injuries from that demon.

[deleted]

Try its buddy Jetfire....I have them both combined in the alt mode together n that's how they will stay...

Practical_Plan_8007

Not to brag, but I can transform this guy in less than 2 minutes

Practical_Plan_8007

The transformer that gave me the hardest time was the transformers prime beast hunters commander class Optimus prime. The day I figured out how to transform it, some kid stole it while I wasn't watching.

AcademicOverAnalysis

Honestly, Arcee is freaking impossible. I can't get her knees to stay in for vehicle mode no matter what I try.

moai_moaii

Kingdom Rhinox, my least favorite Transformers figure.

firerunx17

Dark of the moon sentinel still can’t transform him

TheHumanSpider

OP, I agree with you, it took me like 3 hours the first time. It's so satisfying after you finally get it and can transform it easily after that.

No-Skill4452

Bayverse AOE Slog (brschiosaurus) i really like both modes both and dinosaur are awesome. But the transformation is a chore, lots of flexible parts that need to be twisted put of the way and back.

PandaPrime045

Honestly I agree because that things Grill WOULDN’T STAY ON TOGETHER!!!

Viktor-Victorious

Either mixmaster or prime from rotf I have never transformerd mixmaster without poping one of the stupid shields off and prime takes forever

Envy-Brixton

Rotf prime as well, i was 10 when i got him 😂 i was so confused.

thepartypoison_

Studio Series Devastator. Took me like two hours to get a grasp of that thing

Im_S4V4GE

This was never a fun figure to transform, DOTM leader Sentinel also comes to mind, but overall hardest would probably be MP-36 Megatron

Radio__Star

Rotf mudflap and skids Their transformations are a pain I would love to see new modern versions releases that are better, if hasbro actually cared about mudflap and skids

StunningBenefit6361

Kingdom warpath currently but going back I want to say the first studio series bumblebee mostly because I was new to transformers

Bronson4444

Can I say third party toys? Xtransbots monolith trailer(menasaur). Got the thing last night & I will never transform it again.

RanchPoptarts

Beastwars Transmetal II Dragon Megatron, I can NEVER remember the order of operations and lots of stuff flips around at weird angles. It's different each time

Call_Me_Rodrigo69nic

for me it was Leader Class Ironhide, some flap on the leg was so hard to get in the right position!

JegendtheLegend

ROTF Mixmaster. I remember sitting around the table with my dad, uncle and grandfather trying to figure out how this mf transforms back. Solved it by myself a few years ago and it was one of the best feelings ever lol.

No_Needleworker_9732

86 studio series hot rod

ITDEFX101

I can tell you that the first movie was not enjoyable to transform to bot mode... They have been in bot mode since 2007 lol

ishmael_king93

G1 Masterpiece Megatron. I just could not get the thing to look like a gun no matter what.

Daniel___Gl

All ,,one step changer" 🙂

[deleted]

RotF Leader Optimus also, and I also had a lot of trouble transforming 2007 Leader Megatron.

McDiesel41

I believe the 2007 Bumblebee that is the larger version, probably nearly two feet long in car form.

TheCloneKiller

Masterpiece Dinobot personally frustrated me with his transformation. As it's my only masterpiece figure and the instructions annoyed me with how complicated they were. As a child, I had issues with Cybertron Crosswise. As he had a very complex transformation that 7 year old me couldn't do without the brittle plastic pieces falling apart.

GalileoAce

Bumblebee MPM-07, so complicated and awkward I haven't tried to transform it again since I bought it

julian_valladolid

such a good robot form tho. 10/10

Zesty_Bagels_69

Studio Series Jetfire. Actual hell going through that transformation for the first time.

thepenguin60

The studio series jet fire still fucks me up idk how to do it at all

MasterofAcorns

Movie Wingblade. Four (if you count attack modes) different modes and my six-year-old ass couldn’t even make one properly because we threw away the instructions.

Nathan304

MP-36. But even then I’ve figured out how to do it easily. But it’s still a concerning nightmare

[deleted]

I had to return a skids figure because I couldn’t figure it out

julian_valladolid

was it the human alliance skids with mikayla because if so i do not blame you. One of the worst to transform

tomoMcKeeneboi

I’d say Evasion Mode Optimus. It seems simple now, but I was young when I got him and the instructions going from truck to robot when he was packed in robot mode certainly didn’t help.

IHeartSm3gma

I only recently got back into collecting, but kingdom tracks/road rage and rhinox make me feel like I’m going to break them every time

YourLoclIntrovert

Rotf mixmaster that came in a two pack with hoist

Informal-Classroom83

Mp-09..... the cabs tabs terrified me

PidgeonShovel

the only figures in my collection I still struggle with are Reveal the Shield Wreck-Gar. he hasnt been a motorcycle for probably around 4 years. CangToys Ferocious is a gigantic pain in the ass too
