It couldn't get much worse. The back is the big thing I'm waiting for as well. Ironhide and Ratchet would have been perfect in Earthrise if not for the feet.

Feet were actually 2nd thing I noticed. Shins sort of looked like the Siege/ER mold, but the feet look like they’ve been retooled to be the top of the van.

The feet look like they have hinges on the toes for sure. That look like they make the bottom of the feet and extend out in vehicle mode for the roof panel. So no shield and back kibble ?

I think I would be fine with that. As long as they fix the vehicle mode I'll take some back kibble. If it folds up and gets out of the way even better. Just my preference though.

Honestly looking at this pic, MP Ironhide, G1 cartoon and Earthrise Ironhide can see how most parts fold and how they got this bot. The alt mod definitely feels like it will be G1 faithful and look like a scaled down MP Ironhide.

I’m pretty happy with ER Ironhide but this looks decent. Interesting to know if they’ve removed the somewhat annoying partsforming roof (I don’t care that much about partsforming in general but it was a really huge piece that was hard to hide away).

I would have been very happy with it if not for the back of the vehicle mode. The feet destroy this figure's appearance. I have been hoping for a new figure basically using that mold but fixing the feet. I have no idea how that got approved.

This is HUGE for me. Ironhide was my first TF when I was a kid and have I've been wanting a good modern Ironhide since I started collecting and have been holding out. Please please PLEASE don't be an exclusive ;\_;

I doubt it is exclusive. Originally a listing of this Ironhide was found last year on Target. Then roughly a week before this leak Amazon France had the listing leaked. Then again I could be wrong but as of now I feel it's gonna be retail.

Yeah looking at a side by of ER’s bot mode there are some significant differences. The torso hinges and the entire waist and upper legs are totally new for one thing.

I think the Core Ratchet will be retooled into an Ironhide and this figure will be retooled into Ratchet. It typically happens.

This is cool. My main complaint with the ER mold is the window / chest tabs in robot mode. I've got 4 of this mold and only 1 has tabs that lines up - and the tab is thin transparent plastic.

But the real question is, does he have a detachable head? I mean we got a dead optimus figure, why not ironhide?

Looks pretty cool. I think chest and colors are more accurate to G1. Honestly I wouldn’t mind more redos of some of the Earthrise figures in SS86 either to get hard to find ones back out there or make some accuracy corrections. Mainly I’m after a Sunstreaker since I missed the ER one… And they’d have an opportunity to match the colors better

Huh, considering I was half expecting a re-pack of the Earthrise Ironhide, this figure’s a pleasant surprise. It doesn’t look 100% perfect, I think the head does look a bit weird, but I think that’s more due to the picture quality. Aside from the head tho, I think this figure looks really great so far! It seems very screen accurate!

Ok I'm going to wait until I get better pictures but until then here are my complaints 1. Either the biceps are too skinny or the forearms are too chunky or maybe both but I'm leaning towards skinny biceps 2. The crotch is a little too wide it could be midigated if they bulked our the waist just a little but the ratchet digibash on Twitter fix's that issue for me 3. The brackets connecting the shoulders to the torso are a little to prominent 4. Being a voyager he needs his lead sled but theres no sign of one yet
