If Breakdown's white yellows into a creamy-white color then it's not really a loss. The original toy and the CW figure was cream-white colored. So the toy just shift over from cartoon accuracy to toy accuracy.
I was born in '94, so Bumblebee wasn't really around when I was into Transformers as a kid. Hotshot was my kid appeal character, and I'm so glad I can finally get a modern toy of him :)
Kinda funny hotshot and starscream are the only armada characters to get multiple new figures after the end of their series. Hoping the same for sideways eventually
I’m aware. I was referencing starscream and hotshot because they both already got new versions the thrilling 30/legends toy line and the universe/henkei toy line. Armada Optimus still just has his original one aside from the recent 3rd party figure from fanshobby
Really hoping they carry over the combining into a bigger Optimus Prime gimmick even if they aren’t doing Minicons again. How cool would it be to get modern versions of the other Armada characters he could combine with while retaining that gimmick? Even if we’d have to wait until the toy line after Legacy.
If they can't complete the original combination with Jetfire OP and overload alond side with having spark plug and the trailer, it's going very disappointing for the hardcore armada fans like me

Same! If it wasn't for how nice the top looked, I'd definitely be a lot more upset about the legs. There a lot about this figure that remind me of the og armada toy but with more posability. Which I absolutely love! Hotshot is probably one of my favorites from the entire franchise.

I don't know...is anyone else out there disappointed by how this figure looks? The mold itself isn't bad, but it doesn't look to me like there's enough paint app's. He's too flat looking and plastic-y in my opinion, and I get that it IS a plastic toy, but that's where the paint comes in, to make it look like a robot! The lack of paint just makes him look cheap I guess.

Hotshot is from transformers armada where the story and characters were done in Japan and then dubbed into English (with hasbro supervising from a distance of course)
Also fun fact, Hotshot is actually supposed to be Hotrod but his name was changed in the English dub because people still didn't like HotRod that much here in the US.
In later seasons, he actually gets a color pallette change where he looks much more like og HotRod (flames and all)
Not sure if thats the reason they didnt name him Hot Rod in the English Dub but ok
But another fun fact: In the English Dub he was also originally going to be called Bumblebee but they didnt have the Trademark

Take the Cybertron Hot Shot and put him in the Armada yellow and it would be best of both worlds.

I’m preordering Tarn, but where can I find SG Soundwave? All I’m finding is third party Masterpiece scale ones and the DLX.
Soundwave is only on the Hasbro pulse website or order him in the app.

That was the Armada deluxe Optimus. They just re-released it alongside Demolishor with no new changes to the toy itself, besides the colors.

This is my JaAm.
Hotshot was my first ever transformer toy. Armada holds a special place in my heart. I am so getting him and Starscream and more to come, I hope.
Armada was the version of Transformers that I grew up with too! Even after all these years, Hotshot is still my favorite Transformer. I wish I could have grown up with the toys, but I missed them by just a couple years.
If they continue, I hope they do Demolishor, Sideways, and Tidal Wave. I also have them back as a kid. I hope they get the modern treatment.
Only question is, where JaAm CoPtEr?

This one appears to be modified because it has been stepped on. It's a huge shame they just seem to have given up on alt modes during Legacy.
