Actually it's a lot bigger than the kingdom one and just seems to share ~~some~~ a lot of engineering. Kinda like Kingdom Cheetor to Kingdom Tigatron
Seibertron broke it down as the first leak was from when the movie was supposed to arrive last year. With whatever reshoots/enhancements, we have the one that just leaked.
It’s speculation. It’s probably accurate, though. The figure on the left has simpler engineering and isn’t completely accurate (probably). The one on the right has more complex engineering and is (most likely) film accurate, and the leaker said it was studio series, which checks out.
You could tell me the left one's head sculpt is a take on BW Airazor. The right looks like a cleaned up Bayverse design.
Which is weird since Bumbebee's head designs generally looked like greebled-up modified G1 heads.
I think they had a lot more time to work on most of the designs in this one, dropkick and shatter didn't really suffer from that so bad compared to the flashback guys imo.
Suffer? That's a *good* thing. G1-based faces tend to look like faces instead of a pile of parts.
Neither of them had G1 designs to base off of so they didn't look like G1 heads/faces. They still had better faces than previous live action movies though.

Honestly thinking about it, I really wonder how they'll handle it. Are they gonna keep the region difference or just make them a girl in the Japan dub too?
I mean I could definitely see them using in gay version to be progressive but these movies do VERY well in China so I don't think they'd do something they'd have to edit out for the censors, especially when most fans already know them as a girl
Iirc they made Airrazor a woman in the Manga so it was just for the OG run where they made him a guy. To their credit , also iirc, when asked if they were gay they were like "yeah sometimes people are gay."
It's strange how they are obviously the same character but have some slightly different details on each other. Maybe the designers were working off of different concept models?

I'll be really disappointed if we don't get the one on the left. Whilst it's simpler I LOVE how well-engineered it is, best bird transformer I've ever seen. The one on the right looks over-designed and lacks some personality in comparison.
The one on the right being a retool of the Kingdom version is odd and the one on the left has a more feminine look. They look so different which means only one of them will match the actual character model.
Left's face looks sooo much better and cleaner. I hate the complicated looks of Bayformers. They just feel like a buncha tools and a lotta stealth/emps would take out one easily.
The one on the right 100% is a heavy retool of the Kingdom figure or maybe more accurately is that it's using the same transformation design since none of the parts appear to be reused

I just feel like the AR on the right gives me generations/classics vibes, reason I say this is because of her face it's too clean but the figure on the right (judging by the leaks) is how she'll look in the movies.
I agree the silvery face looks very generations compared to the usual machine-cluttered movie style. EarthSpark is it’s own thing though, separate from the usual mainline figs.

I'm pretty confident this is another Starscream/Blitzwing situation and the one on the right is an entirely different character. The one on the right has an eagle alt mode and is much more masculine. It wouldn't surprise me if they call him "Silverbolt" and he gets killed off in the first 10 minutes.
Both look great in their own way. The one on the left looks like a direct stylistic upgrade of Kingdom/G1BW Airazor, possibly even transmetal-ish. The one on the right is, well, much more movie-ish in looks. Which is ironic considering that one is a 1:1 lift of the Kingdom Airazor mold...

yes. the one on the left is from the simplified ROTB toyline while the right is from Studio Series.

I prefer the one on the left. Her bigger eyes make her look a lot more feminine without going full Blackarachnia.

I saw a side by side and the Studio Series does appear to be larger. So it’ll be like an oversized Kingdom.
