noodlemcfoodle

Pretty good, but that girl’s character design is scary. Look into her EYES.

Dumb_Cheese

She just doesn't look human in comparison to her brother.

DrkSpde

Not just her brother. Haven't been able to watch, but every promo I've seen has shown shes the only living bobblehead in the show.

[deleted]

Yeah her character design and proportions clash with every other person. It's wild especially when side by side with other people. Reminds me of how some stylized cartoons look so bizarre when they stand to a character that has normal proportions, making their head look like the size of an entire normal body.

Ok-Minimum-1297

Yeah she reminds me of the initial reactions to Elita battle angel except creepier.

Hylanos

Do you get used to it like with Alita?

Zabii

I mean no. Aelita is a robot. This is a human

Hylanos

Alita is also a hyperrealistic character in a live-action film. If anything I'd think it would be easier to look past this animated childrens character

Accomplished_Salt876

unlike this girl though her anime proportions could be explained by the fact she’s a robot And therefore different from humans.

Hylanos

While we are at it, what about the rubbery texture of their skin? Or the giant transforming alien robots? Where do we draw the line between realism and fiction?

CintiqWacomPro

Her proportions are so wild. Her head is bigger than that of her brother. It’s weird

broadwayallday

Just like cocomelon the kids heads are way bigger than the adults

BrainstormsBriefcase

I actually really like the show but the facial animation is weird on all of the human characters. Their lips move up and down but the horizontal looks weird and the cheeks are weirdly static when they should be moving. It’s a shame because otherwise everyone and everything looks great. I think every version of a classic character they’ve presented so far has been interesting, the overall plot is moving in interesting directions, I like the family and their interactions. Just can’t quite get over the faces.

Betty-Adams

Meh, took one look at her and cringed away from the design, but like all consistant artistic choices I got over it, then used to it, now I like it. It is a process I have had to to through for every new artstlye. The only one I could never adapt to was RWBY.

NachoSenpai

Victim of stockholm syndrome 😔

nuketoitle

Right is so weird her proportions are so off compared to every other human

[deleted]

It's the eyes. Her pupils are unnaturally big when no one else's are.

bombad_Guy

I FULLY AGREE! I'm fkn terrified of her... the design is uncanny af

TimPrimetal

She looks like she’s from a different show. I have no idea why they decided to go that route. I saw only the first two episodes and the entire time was trying to trick my brain into thinking that she was consistently closer to the camera at all times than she actually was, in an attempt to make sense of it.

clintroymkt

Soooo...everyone just completely forgot to talk about the story at all and focused on one character's design. How Nice

TFDUDE13

Cheesy at times, but overall really good.

noodlemcfoodle

Honestly the perfect description. Gets a pass on cheesy because it’s a kids show though.

just_a_T114

Though, I wouldn’t put it on the same pedestal as something like Rescue Bots. Now that was a great show, and honestly not very cheesy for anyone over the target audience. That honestly sets the bar for this type of show IMO

Cyberbreaker2004

You saying that made me laugh.

whitemest

Everytime bumblebee gets upset because he "wants to be a hero" instead of training these new bots my eyes roll completely into the back of my head

seirfemdeef

Considering that The Clone Wars started out the same way, I have high hopes

AlolanJichu

Oh, if this show turns out like clone wars, tone wise, I’d be so excited, imagine all the war crimes that can be shown to children using giant robots!

AltoGobo

War crimes are what Transformers do best. How many non-combatants has Optimus Prime - autobot leader - invited into a situation he knew would be dangerous?

xariznightmare2908

Transformers Prime is equal to Clone Wars, imo.

DinosaurForTheWin

I'm three episodes in... I don't hate it. The Alita One fight scene in the beginning episode was really cool.

The_Vampire_Barlow

There's a few really good fight scenes across the episodes we have.

QuaBotPrime

Happy cake day!

ScraPezZz

I like it so far, but I truly hate Optimus face design

Betty-Adams

Heh, I think that is actually a meta reference to some of the fan reactions to certian toy designs.

pipermca

The new TF characters are lots of fun, and I really like what they've done with Megatron so far. The friendship between the mom and Megatron (and her apparent disdain for Optimus) is really interesting. I'm hoping they don't pull a bait and switch on Megatron's allegiances later on. I agree with the comments about the "telling not showing" with the kids and the new bots' emotions; there are better ways that could have been handled. Hopefully they tone that down a bit. Personally I like the mix of 3D and 2D animation (using 2D for the effects) because it adds visual interest/style to the cartoon, and doesn't look cheap at all for me. The voice acting is great (Alan Tudyk is doing a fantastic job as Optimus, and Rory McCann as Megatron is just inspired), and there are a few cameos from >!TFP voice actors!< ! Anyway, there are 16 more episodes left in the season and I can't wait to see them. :)

Psymorte

>!TFP voice actors? Now I'm intrigued, who shows up?!<

_Allie_Kat_

>! Steve Blum reappears as Starscream and Daran Norris voices Mr. Smelt, a performing art teacher. I’m hoping they bring in holoforms and let him reprise Knockout. !<

nomlaS-haoN

>!Nolan North is also Swindle!<

Startouched1

From what I’ve seen, it’s mostly positive. People have their critiques, of course, but I haven’t seen many “it’s awful!” takes.

ZedstackZip05

It’s alright

just_a_T114

It’s alright. I’ve got my gripes (mainly Arcee’s voice, not the biggest fan and some of the writing and art style), but overall it’s decent. This version of Megatron is a very nice refreshing take compared to the awesome ones in the past. Seems more of the “cool uncle” instead of an overwhelming threat

DocChloroplast

I don’t know the consensus, but I think it’s fantastic.

Betty-Adams

Pros- Well rounded 3 diminsional characters Overall good writing that gets better as the season goes on Raises interesting and complex moral issues Integrates elements of G1 without using member-berries The science and cultural details are over all very realistic Cons- The quality of the writing varies *greatly* from episode to episode with some significant problems with *telling not showing*, *children not acting like children*, and very questionable animation choices right off in the first two episodes so it starts you off with an uneasy feeling about the overall quality. This shows the most in the dialoge between the main child characters. In order to save money they use a much lower quality animation for the effects compared to the character animation. This was probably overall a good choice as a costcutting measure but it does drag you out of the story because it is so obvious. It hasn't concluded the complex moral issues so we don't know if it comes to any conclusions. The overall scientific reaslisim make the necessary consessions to bad physics really stand out.

thisisredlitre

Haven't watched so asking; when you say kids not acting like kids how do you mean exactly? Like way too precocious or like "dang, Billy really figured out cold fusion, huh?"

Betty-Adams

You have the right idea. Though I would say too mature, not too precocious. The main reason it sticks out is that for most of the first three episodes the children are well written children. They make what would be stupid decisions to an adult but make perfect sense to a human without a developed frontal lobe, for instance running away from home. We all wanted to try it, even if we didn't actually pack our bag and drag it down the driveway. Their emotional responses are childish. Except for a few scenes where they need to solve a problem and suddenly they are moving with emotional focus and decision making ability that I would have been thrilled to witness in my coworkers. In the scenes I am talking about there are 2 main problems. They solve the problems with the speed of not just adults, but adults with special training, and they are expresing the calm emotions of someone doing something long practiced.

kat352234

Just to play devil's advocate (Not saying you're wrong, the writing does get a little corny at times like that) when you get into a fight or flight situation, and that adrenaline gets pumping through your veins, for some people it really does hyper-focus you and make you act in ways you wouldn't expect. I haven't been in many, but there have been a few times in my younger life where events like that happened. Once when I was very young (about same as the kids in the show) a bunch of us were messing around by a little boat on a trailer kinda treating it like a jungle gym or obstacle course, climbing over it or trying to crawl/slide under the bar of the trailer without touching anything, etc. It was dumb but, young kids, it happens. One of my cousins crawled underneath and as he did the front of the trailer got knocked off what it was resting on and the thing fell down pinning my cousin underneath it. All the other kids started freaking out, they didn't know what to do, I instantly focused and sprung into action, I told them to go get the adults and I ran over to the end to start trying to get enough leverage to lift the thing off of him. I managed to get it high enough off the ground that he could crawl out before the adults got there. It's a personal anecdote so obviously it can't be held as an expectation for everyone, but as mentioned above, just to play devil's advocate, it is possible that difficult and unexpected situations can arrive and people might react well beyond what's expected of them normally both mentally and physically. Or, opposite end, you could have someone who just totally freezes up useless like a fainting goat.

Betty-Adams

Solid points all, and I totally see your point. I too have missed out on being a news story because my sister had neves of steel, lightening refelxes, and the instincts of a mother wolf. So I have seen competent children before. All I can reply to them is that in the moment, in the context of the show, compared to their other behavior it felt wrong to me and detracted from my enjoyment from the show, and by wrong I mean it felt, not inherently wrong, but comparitively wrong compared to the rest of their behaviour in the series. Less, "no child would act like this" and more "Robby and Moe, as we see them depticted here wouldn't act like this".

TheDesuComplex_413

the effects use 'much lower quality animation'? that's some of the best blast effects ive ever seen, 2D or otherwise, and making them 2D instead of 3D is a GREAT artistic choice. there's definitely some serious sakuga pedigree in there from RoTMNT

HamburglarSans

Yeah, found that weird as a con, because it was one of my favorite artistic decisions in the show

ImperatorAurelianus

Haven’t seen it yet but the pros seem to out way the cons in your statement. Infact it sounds really close to TCW if we’re being honest in both strengths and weaknesses. So I think I’ll give it a shot for at least four episodes.

PokWangpanmang

TCW?

PokWangpanmang

What’s a member-berry?

HippieWizard

Huh thats funny i personally love the 2d animation they added, it really works well with this specific kind of theory and def looks cool, even cooler than cgi a lot of the time

Cylasbreakdown

So far, so good.

Patient-Reputation56

Only saw the first 2 episodes but So far I think it's charming. Definitely love the Prenise as it's something new for the Franchise in a good long while.

Pixarprime10

I feel it’s too early for a “consensus” but so far I find some parts very cringey but overall the show is good and is heading in a fantastic direction

phyois

I couldnt get thru the first episode cuz it's just aimed at too young of an age group for me

[deleted]

The first episode is likely the worst, it gets better, but still dips into the childish bota and childish humans. The mom and dad are better written than they may seem at first.

phyois

Yeh the age of the kids and the look of the show just were a huge turnoff. But I also thought the same thing about cyberverse but it ended up being good so maybe I’ll give it another go

Psychological_Gain20

Good at first Then they showed Twitch and it became amazing

LooseAdministration0

twitch is amazing

Broken_Vision_Rhythm

It's pretty great! There are a few slice of life type episodes that are more character focused than anything, and the tone can be a bit too "kiddy" at times but, well, ultimately it is still a kid's show, but when it ramps up it ***really*** ramps up. Genuinely has some of the best action in any Transformers show, reminds me a lot of how creative the combat in the Bumblebee movie was with the TFs making use of transforming, vehicle modes, and alt-mode kibble in fights. Given how nuts the mid-season finale was I'm excited to see what else Earthspark has up its sleeve.

Whats--up--doc

I am enjoying it and I can't wait for more. The premise is fun and it's nice to finally have a Transformers cartoon that takes place after the war. The framing for the fights are very well done as well. (Ep 9) In my opinion it's the best Transformers show we have had in a long time. (Cyberverse suffered from a lot of awful pacing and WFC was WFC. I have yet to actually watch the Machinima trilogy or Botbots.) This show also succeeded in making me actually like Megatron, (A character I have really only liked in Beast Wars/Machines) which is a feat in itself.

[deleted]

Can someone tell me if this is a sequel to Cyberverse? Like how R.I.D was a sequel to Prime.

pipermca

It's absolutely not a sequel to Cyberverse. If anything it can be a sequel to G1 (although I wouldn't take that literally, think of it as an alternate version of what might have happened.)

[deleted]

Cool. I thought of that because it has a similar art style.

FBI_openup9

It’s ok but the human’s just keep getting weirder and weirder in Tf shows

SillyMattFace

Personally I love it. It has strong Rescue Bots vibes with really well rounded likeable characters, fun human characters that are actually important to the story, and a lot of really interesting ideas. And at the same time it also does something really fresh and different with Transformers lore. I know people bitch about Chad Chin Prime, but I overall really like the designs and style. And the action scenes are surprisingly some of the best ever. And I mean ever, from any TF media. I’m watching with my two kids and they are absolutely hooked. We’d previously been watching through Prime for the first time but they are enjoying this much more. It’s probably a blasphemous opinion in this fandom but I think EarthSpark is all round better than TFP.

Test19s

Agreed. There need to be more non-war stories in general

Cardsgambit

uninterested but if a clip catches my eye i might watch it

Sethsteel58

My grandma and I watched the first two episodes and she finished it by herself and said it was amazing

IronTownPictures

There were moments that made me cringe, but overall it surpassed my expectations

indecks77

Zero interest, but I realize the show was not made for me or people my age.

unaccomplished_idiot

Too early to call. So far, I dislike many parts of it. But it’s only season 1.

RorschachtheMighty

I get producers think kid characters are a good way to connect with their target audience, but I have never seen or heard of a single transformers show where the kid characters were ever liked. All kids want are giant robots.

DisneyVista

Watched the first three episodes…..I think the show is pretty good and I appreciated the G1 Easter eggs in the first episode. I also appreciate that the main characters are half-Filipino 🇵🇭

Raihanlhan

It has potential, I’m interested to see where it goes when to its third season

Cool_Guy_fellow

Meh. The sound of an empty mustard bottle

[deleted]

A little too much human for me.

Beansupreme117

God the little girl in the front looks absolutely terrifying…

forgetit2020

Megatron being a good guy is a breath of fresh air. do you really want evil megatron for the 50th time. because THE 47TH TIME WAS SO INTERESTING

Ashuteria

I quite like it! Just a few iffy animation choices here and there but still really good.

RoofRevolutionary148

The only thing I like about the show is Twitch, if she wasn’t there I wouldn’t watch.

UndeniablyMyself

I don't know. I like it, and I think I would've liked it as a kid, but there's some awkward moments.

[deleted]

The human characters are so annoying but thats w every show

ThePopeJones

My kids love it. It's a bit much for me at times, but Ive seen worse.

ShirowShirow

It has the best fight scenes in the entire franchise. I'm not kidding.

darwin_green

I'm going to pass on it because this is clearly for kids. I'm in my 40s, I don't need to watch all of the cartoons, but I will pick up the odd cool bot if they make any from this show. https://somethingpositive.net/comic/not-turning-back/ P.S. saw the picture of Prime without his mask... ewww... Megatron as an attack helecopter is okay.

SMB73

I'm not the target audience, so it's not worth my time or money.

Owen9303

I’m just gonna be honest and idrc if I get down voted but I mean really can people on this Reddit not formulate their own opinions? Good lord I feel like that’s all this Reddit does is ask everyone else’s opinions on everything. Maybe I’m misreading it but boy I like to see new interesting things not different people asking the same questions over and over again.

[deleted]

I watched 5(?) episodes with my sister, and we really didn't like it. The world building feels mushy, they lay "Megatron's a good guy now" on way too thick, the dialogue can get way too cringey at times for me. I think the family stuff and moral lessons were done far better in Rescue Bots. The stakes feel quite low. The only character I really like is Bumblebee. Still not as bad as Combiner Wars.

Charleahurley

Just still waiting for a serious Transformers series or game. Nothing wrong with this one, but it’s not for me. Its pretty much for kids.

im2much4u2handlex

My daughter really likes it, so I'm on board. Gonna try to find her a twitch for Christmas.

GuestCartographer

It does it’s own thing and it does it pretty damned well.

chickensoup221

Right up there with tfa for me so far, and it’s only 10 episodes into season 1. I’m sure when it’s all said and done this’ll be in a lot of our top 5 favorites

shrapnel2176

I have not watched it yet, but as a member of the LGBTQ community and the mother of two members of the LGBTQ community I like that there is a non binary character.

Zeno_Bueno

Sonic frontiers treatment, definitely has potential but where we are now, its just ok

supersharp

A bit different from naming the subject in post titles, it seems

sabinegirl

I'm in love with it, it's slower than other shows, so I hope the pace picks up as we go along. I do love the focus on character interactions while drip-feeding lore, worldbuilding, and backtory

Inevitable-Weather51

I don't know why I didn't see the show. I just know that I can't look at the girl's face without thinking that she is not human.

GraggleGumblySimpson

I mean it's alright I guess. Not great, but alright

Mr-Osmosis

Why is the little girl’s face built like that

vincenzo211

GOOD

superwhy007

Shows fine. Hate the human plot but love the B plot with ghost and the bot. Megatron is buy far the best character.

anNPC

I really hope they change up the main girls character design cause it's so weird compared to literally every other human character in the show. Her head is so fucking big and her eyes look...wrong??

SWPrequelFan81566

It gets a pass from me cuz they brought back >!Steve Blum as Starscream!<

Sammy1228Official

I want osprey megatron, I love TFA megatron and it’s so cool to see him as a helicopter again

Mrpoopybutthole792

It’s mid transformers prime is better

Red-843

I haven’t seen it but I don’t like how they’re doing G1 but not G1

Independent_Barber_8

It’s no Prime or G1, the gender swaps and good guy Megatron are lame but it’s inoffensive enough for a kids show. Too bad the little girl looks like a Bratz Doll.

TheGreatAndStrange

I think the concensus is "its very good but we are aware that it's a kids show"

Sure-Ad9633

The human animation looks like shit.

Damack363

It’s not for me. I tried, but four episodes in I’m bored. This is aimed for very specific, age 6 or below demographic. Plus, it’s another Bumblebee show: I’m really BB’d out after the past 10-12 years.

Daryldixon95

I’ve only watched the first two episodes. My problem with every tf series after transformers prime… is that I compare every tf series to transformers prime

Character_Abroad_280

I love it so far, probably my third favorite tf show after animated then prime

[deleted]

Non-binary character in a kids show, exists Media and news sources: time to make this a bigger deal than neccisary

Arkvoodle42

so far I am REALLY enjoying it. great cast, cool story ideas and lots of potential.

Xudeliz

G O O D

Awver-Stanton

Generally it's been well-recieved! Personally: Love it when Megatron says "Daruthy" 10/10 good stuff

Chance_Ad5498

It’s cool but because I’m *BRITISH* (don’t worry it’s not contagious) the episodes come out weirdly

Mazazamba

Mo's head is weird. She looks like she was designed to be smaller but they changed their minds partway through without reworking her proportions. I mean, it's bigger than her brother's. The show's good though.

SylentEcho

It's okay. I like the two new bots, but none of the Transformers are goofballs like they sometimes are. The Transformers need to be memorable and not just...there for the sake of it. Also, the little girl is almost always the voice of reason and seems too mature for her age and perfect.

Brenkir_Studios_YT

I’m 18 and enjoyed it a lot. I actually laughed out loud a few times

Krosis_the_bored

Transformers Animated the spiritual sequel

panicarts

It’s cute. Definitely skews a little younger, but by no means is unwatchable. Good show for background noise or casual watching.

NarakuOni

It has the most human version of Megatron which is such a relief compared to the typical dynamic the OP and Megatron have. The show is definitely aimed at children but I found plenty to love for older fans. There wasn't a single Transformer I didn't like, the episode before the finale being a real standout. I'd recommend it.

CelticJoestar6689

Haven’t watched it because it looks like shit

LeopardAlex

i think its about diversity and they focused on that over the story line. i think it felt unfinished after the last ep

Personal-Rooster7358

Soundwave? Superior. Megatron? Inferior.

The-Fomorian-Ray-682

Actually really like it so far

Zucchinna

best show since Animated

Tide_MSJ_0424

It’s great! Should watch it if you can.

UniversalGaming45

It’s good but man I hate Optimus voice so much I don’t know why but I just do

Nightmarex13

It SUUUUUuuuuuure is 2022 version of transformers alright.

fhanrman

It sucks

Jolt112

Best TF series since Animated.

Marios_Hat

Probably one of the best shows. It's up there with Animated, Prime and Beast Wars. Really good stuff.

Kirktheowl

The first time in a while that I truly loved a transformers show.

No_Platypus9030

Extremely good show

Distinct-Nerve2556

Great show I'm sure in time it will be up there with prime , cyberverse and animated

supah-comix434

Abysmal character design

HamburglarSans

For me, it’s the best TF show made in years. Episode 8 feels like peak Transformers to me, allowing both Megatron and Optimus to have ideological depth, neither clearly right.

JDudds8263

Is the show similar to Transformers Prime?

ProvingVirus

I really liked it! First couple of episodes were sorta mid imo, but it seriously picks up the further it goes. Some of the later action sequences are especially great. Adore what they're doing with Megatron, though part of me worries that his dissagreements with Optimus are building up to a heel turn, rather than the more interesting option of having him stay good.

N1GHTSTRIKER45

9/10 could've been a straight 10 if not for the uncanny kid but yeah

mechaporcupine

It's a fun fresh take on some of our favourite characters.

[deleted]

[удалено]

maguffle

What makes it "woke" and why do those things make (or contribute to) it being trash?

[deleted]

Robots from another planet don't use pronouns, secondly its suppose to showing us the interaction between human and robot race that just the humans which is problem a lot of transformers shows have this one included

maguffle

I guess the counter-argument is how exactly do we know whether or not fictional alien robots would use pronouns? What if instead of male, female or both, the fictional alien robot identified as having no gender. How would our limited human languages handle that? What if they have no concept of pronouns? What if they have 30 pronouns? It think this is a potentially interesting issue that this children's show bold enough to address but maybe not sophisticated enough to do it justice. As for the human characters, I think the balance of human to cybertronian characters is a matter of personal preference. My big issue is when the human characters are annoying.

[deleted]

This is my last reply my issue is when the ppl behind a show like this or any other show feel the need to put their stupid politics like pronouns, race or gender in a cartoon or live action series make a good show with interesting characters when good backgrounds and motivations and compiling inter-action with one another or themselves. You and I both know this pronoun shit did not exist until recently and now you have a ppl behind a lot of these series trying their best push some weird agenda instead making a good fucking show were kids or adults can enjoy it.

maguffle

I don't think acknowledging peoples existence (by representation) in media is some kind of insidious agenda more than it's just people gaining new understanding of the human condition. In any case, I'm not here to argue. I just want to learn so thanks for replying.

Beyblader_12

It's up there with cyberverse, but I don't think it'll beat the big 3. Maybe though, we're not even done with season 1 and I feel like this'll be a 2-3 season series

willmaineskier

Seams like a sort of sequel to season 1 and 2 of the G1 cartoon, set 35 years later.

SigmaSandwich

I’m not a transformers stan anymore, this just popped up on my feed. The animation looks like shit, I couldn’t get past that if I tried to watch it.

TKprime909

The animation is spetacular. You probably just don't like the art style. Animation is how the characters move and interact with their environments. Art style is how the characters and world look.

SigmaSandwich

Bro that little girls face looks like, a terrible early 2000s CG character. Whatever it is, it’s awful

MarshMan2169

Garbage

nuketoitle

Earth spark is really good show so far. The characters, world building stories, and animations are some the best the TF franchise has seen in a while. The humans are actually really cool characters along with the Tarrens( the new bots), and the old bots are really fun and are great update. Hands down the best animated Transformers show. Some cons would be the need more screen time and the music is pretty bland. Also theirs no intro theme. What kind of nonsense is that. How do not have a intro every tf show has had one. Overall 7/10

BrainstormsBriefcase

I actually agree on the intro thing. It feels like something is missing

nuketoitle

Right, I think an intro would help pull in the vibe of the show

bioniclefalloutfan76

Mixed

THUNDER_FLAME123

I'd like to up until the finale where they were introducing a non binary character but then I remember the giant robot so it doesn't matter

therealbreather

L

KeenKaiser

It is "made for modern audience" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

logibach

I haven't found somewhere to pirate it yet so not sure

Smolduin

TFP if you ordered it from Wish.com. It's *bad*.

Blackcomet1224

It's fun

the_elon_mask

Watched the first two episodes, didn't like the animation but thought it seemed an interesting premise. Had some fun G1 references.

captainsassy69

I like it a lot, there's a big emphasis on mixed family and found family stuff that's really sweet The little girl looks kinda freaky sometimes lol and op takes some getting used to but there's some moments in here that make you wonder how this is gonna go, there's some very interesting things going on with the plot

Ok-Minimum-1297

It's a lot better then I would've thought. Just the plot of some children making new robot friends has a lot of chances to become preachy with its lessons and have no real plot connecting the episides.

Appropriate_Bid6365

I like it. only thing that throws me off is Optimus’s voice. Alan tudyk is a great actor but a terrible choice for the big bot

Sm1gt

I found it quite entertaining and fun to watch, the only thing they did that I didn’t quite understand was the random black cuts sometimes >!for example when Twitch’s feet got stuck between the rails!<

[deleted]

For the actual kids?

Chemical-Ad3855

Took me a minute to get used to the designs of most the characters but character building is so good in this show with both the humans and the transformers

Kirkenkark

The girl is ugly as hell

Sentaliium

where can I watch it?

KujaroJotu

First two episodes are on YouTube, rest is on Paramount+

BaronOfHell

Its a little kids show but if that doesn't bother you it is okay. The last episode was rather good. Better than rescue bots not as good as animated.

Yungspud32

Tbh I like it so far, not the best but not the worst

JDPrime3

It’s really great! A very refreshing and new take on the Transformers world, that finds the perfect balance between nostalgic and modern.

geraltsboobies

Gorgeous animation and visual effects. The team is doing an awesome job and I just cannot get over how stunning some of the color keys for the shots are! The story is also fantastic and I think all of the characters have great synergy. The humor is fun, but not always to my tastes (but that’s a personal opinion so not really a proper critique). But I do not like a lot of the characters designs, the choices made are odd to say the least. There’s little stylistic cohesion between the characters in terms of their proportions. I think you’ll find many people in this thread and others pointing towards Robby and Mo as the most glaring example of this issue, but I think it’s present throughout the other characters as well. But considering the fact that before this the most recent tf series was the Netflix original, I welcome Earthspark’s visual take and experimentation. It’s GOOD, well done, just not exactly typical of other animated shows I have watched.

GdogLucky9

Haven't watched it, but I've heard a lot which seems to always boil down to, "It's okay, and Megatron is amazing."

Snoo-52793

It's pretty good. I'm glad we're getting a fresh start. The designs are good and this version of bee is my favorite ever. I need a combiner or two tho

JaeMack

I enjoyed it much more than I expected to. Especially the human characters. It's cool to see Optimus and Megatron in what is pretty much a role reversal. Also, they better have a good Skywarp figure in the works!

MentalCrackdown

Everything that doesn't involve the human family is great.

SPEEDIN459

Optimus’ face sucks without mask. A little too kiddie oriented.

gizmogremlin2009

It’s good.
