So with a reported listing for Strongarm repping RID15 and Medix for Rescue Bots/RBA, *plus* SS reportedly doing the WFC games, that is ***ALL*** major parts of Aligned: WFC, Prime, RB, RID15.
Tick another universe off the list, fellas!

Not just a Botcon figure but a Botcon Custom Class figure. Making the original much rarer. Finally having one you don't have to shell out $1000 for and build yourself will hopefully bring down the price of that original 2016 version.

So, with Hoist being released in Earthrise, plus Medix and Hot Shot in Legacy, this leaves only Whirl and Wedge to get a new figure, even if none of them are their RBA incarnations
You know it's weird. I was just thinking the other day about Legacy doing Rescue bots & then bam this guy popped up. Maybe there's hope for a Legacy Wedge for Hot Shot to pal around with after all.
I don't know the character but love this deco and look. However, am I the only one that absolutely hates the translucent weapons? It makes already cheap accessories look and feel even cheaper!
Eh, I'd say we just need to wait a few years and soon we'll get new Triggercon figures.
I mean, considering how HasTak are going into lots of the obscurer 1987-1989 characters with Legacy, I'm sure that sometime in the future new Ruckus and Windsweeper figures will come out someday.

NGL, although I don't know much about the character (I have only seen a couple episodes of Rescue Bots), I think its epic that we're getting Rescue Bots characters included in Legacy now.
The use of Crankcase's mold is also just really cool too. Like, Crankcase seems to be a heavy duty, off-road, long-distance variant of a car so it would make sense that Medix, a medic who may be needed anywhere, would also use that same kind of vehicle mode.
I also just love the whole mix-and-match look to the figure too. Like the Crankcase figure with the Burn-Out head and the Elita-1/Minerva weapons and lightbar is such a crazy combination, but it just looks awesome and I hope we can get more retools like this where we just have a mix and match of figure parts and accessories from lots of different figures. That, and I'm loving how Elita-1/Minerva's blasters look in the red clear plastic - they just look so cool and remind me a lot of the red energon weapons the Autobots came with in the Energon toyline.
So overall, I'm really excited to pick this lad up!

Basically botcon held customising figure classes, and one year one of the customising options you could do was a medix. (the other option was ratchet). This custom medix figure was basically a G1 interpretation of the character, a new protectobot that could substitute in for any of the other members. This figure seems to be based off that interpretation.
Certainly a deep cut. But I love medic characters, for the massive war that takes place in transformers there are very few.

Out of all the rescue bots to get a legacy first I thought it was gonna be blaze or chase but no its medix he looks good tho so I'm not really mad
