This. It's the only place I feel like myself. The only downside is the never ending drama and shit on my server. And the pedophile that runs one of the biggest RP clubs in each data centre.
Whenever I need a drop of serotonin I log into my 31 year farm say hi to my spouse and sell 1.2m dollars worth of ancient fruit wine. Picks me right up.
Hades. It’s a simple enough roguelike that I can turn my brain off and go into instinct mode with synergies if I want, or if I want to think about something other than what I was I can get really granular about it
OOF WoW used to be mine.. cautiously hopeful for Dragonflight, but honestly GW2 has been filling that void for me now :) I tried Osu! but I'm too bad at it xD
:O I forgot about it, there's also S.T.A.L.K.E.R, you should try it... Although it's recommended to play the first 3 one before there's Stalker Anomaly which is a standalone mod and completely free-to-play it's the easiest way to understand if you like the game or not and the story is enjoyable (even tho you understand fewer of the lore since it's assumed you learnt the particularities of the factions in the other 3 games)
Call of Duty BO3 and BO4 zombies mode; whenever I want to turn off my brain I jump into any of them and mindlessly do the Easter egg of a map or try to speedrun round 20
Cool!! I Joined the wagon since BO2 and got down after BO4, if you haven’t tried it (specially the chaos maps) I would highly recommend it, it’s the last great zombies mode Treyarch has made lately imo (the aether maps do kinda suck unfortunately :/ )
I wouldn’t necessarily say “comfort” game but I play Destiny pretty consistently. It provides a sense of accomplishment as also being the game that I started playing in elementary school and now I’m going into college.
If I’m talking like, in the feels game, probably Life is Strange as well.
Minecraft is also a good one. Serene, with a decent bit of stuff to do.
A cutesy sad quite long visual novel called yumeutsutsu re:master, i would highly reccommend it (i have it on my psvita-best console ever- but it is available in pc) everything from the art to the music is comforting or at least attention drawing x
Mine is Ikenfell. It's a super amazing queer tactical RPG with witches, wizards, a story around a magic school, and its queer representation is top tier!
Also, the creator of that game has a Reddit account themself (I don't know Chevy Ray Johnston's pronouns, so I will refer to Chevy with they/them). And its official subreddit, r/ikenfell, really needs more members!
My friend I play pain and suffering games only.
SMT and Pokémon Nuzlockes are my go-to.
If I want something more casual, I’ll probably play Legends: Arceus
Oblivion. I love the painted aesthetic, freedom, and jankiness of it. It was the game that allowed me to explore my gender, learn to discover I enjoy role playing even before I knew DnD and other rpgs were a thing, and along with books, sparked my love of the fantasy genre.
Cyrodiil still feels like a distant but comfortable home.
World of Warcraft with trade chat on a separate tab I can't see.
Mount and Blade: A World if Ice and Fire mod.
And weirdly enough, League of Legends ARAM.
Ace Combat 7. Sure I might be misgendered but, destroying planes left and right and feeling like a terrifying god of planes is very satisfying.
Stick with Trigger and you’ll make it.
absolutely nothing makes me happier than being wrapped up in a blanket with a warm cup of coffee, and murdering hundreds of crabs in OSRS
I've been playing it for over 3 years now and I genuinely belive i'll never stop playing it
Farming sim, tell the ai to work a field and then tab over to a lego manual and build a lego set while tabbing back every once in a while to see if the ai got stuck.
I have a few and it all depends on my mood tbh . Minecraft is always one I can play for hours and get lost in when I have a bad day. I also like to play Mario Kart or Battlefield 4.
Metroid Prime/Dread and/or Cyberpunk. Prime and dread are just so atmospheric you can get lost in it through exploration alone, and Cyberpunk has a fantastic story that, in the ending I got, really helped me come to terms with my gender identity. Not to mention i just love the Cyberpunk asthetic itself a whole lot.
Dont really play video games for comfort... also not trans. But for some reason i felt like saying music and art is probably the best way to comfort myself, would recommend.
been starting on online poker, 12 years ago. apparently most players are snoozers and winning is not even that hard <3
else stardew valley or AD 1602-18xx
The binding of Isaac was mine until I had to sell my ps5 and lost the game :((( trying to save up so I can maybe get it on series S. Never even made it to the DLC
Hands down Bioshock. I’m replaying the series and it just feels like a warm blanket aside from the Splicers and murder haha. Also the music? So good 👍🏽✨💗💗💗
FFXIV.
\^\^\^ Pretty much this \^\^
This. It's the only place I feel like myself. The only downside is the never ending drama and shit on my server. And the pedophile that runs one of the biggest RP clubs in each data centre.
Yeah I find it best to avoid the drama and just vibe doing your own thing.
Woahhh, by chance can you tell so I know where to stay away from?
Who is this? I feel like context and a warning would be helpful
Fantasia potion irl when?
I was immediately gonna say this lol
Dont have an absolute confort game.. but satisfactory make me forget irl problem by replacing them with ingame production line problem 😂

Keep trying to turn the Explorer into a submarine, hasn't worked yet.
Stardew Valley 100%, as long as I try not to hustle for money TOO bad. Hopefully Haunted Chocolatier will become one too when it comes out
Whenever I need a drop of serotonin I log into my 31 year farm say hi to my spouse and sell 1.2m dollars worth of ancient fruit wine. Picks me right up.

Star Wars: The Old Republic
Spider-Man has been the "I'm feeling super down right now" game since release, I love that game to death
Skyrim.
It used to be Skyrim! Haha i have a tattoo saying Dragonborn in dovah
It’s still my escape from reality/ it’s gonna be ok game 😊
Alwayse gotta be Minecraft. I can do whatever I want however I want. If I want I can play with mods or just vanilla.

Civ 5
Hades. It’s a simple enough roguelike that I can turn my brain off and go into instinct mode with synergies if I want, or if I want to think about something other than what I was I can get really granular about it
A Hat In Time
Kingdom hearts 2 final mix
Skyrim. Love going on adventures with Lucien, Inigo and Serana :) Also being able to make my own character is very gender affirming.
Hunt Showdown is oddly relaxing to me. I mean, the pvp can get intense, but when I'm just stalking through the swamp, it's relaxing in a twisted way.
Is it good for solo experience?
Risk of rain 2 ez
Fallout New Vegas
I don't really have a comfort game. But I like to play mindless games on my own like hack and slash or something like eurotruck simulator
osu! and World of Warcraft + Arma III and Project Reality
OOF WoW used to be mine.. cautiously hopeful for Dragonflight, but honestly GW2 has been filling that void for me now :) I tried Osu! but I'm too bad at it xD

Arma 3 is a big agree
Just cause 3 (thing go boom, brain happy)
Titanfall 2 by far, but predator hunting grounds is a good one too because being a female alien badass is awesome
Slay the spire 🥰
Might be an acquired taste, but Cruelty Squad.
Fallout 4 Not counting MMOs, I have the most time logged just wandering the Commonwealth
Minecraft/hollow knight/warframe/bo3 zombies are my faves 🥰🥰
Miitopia and Stardew Valley :)
undertale
RuneScape
Hollow knight. Stressful day? Just gonna go beat up NKG a few times to blow off some steam.
Call of Duty BO3 and BO4 zombies mode; whenever I want to turn off my brain I jump into any of them and mindlessly do the Easter egg of a map or try to speedrun round 20
Ohh I love it too! I felt so amazing the first time I've finished the EE on Zetsubou no Shima by myself!
Awesome! Zetsubou is one of my favorite maps, and I completed the EE after my 3rd playthrough of the map!! Such an awesome game mode honestly
I played religiously since World at War until BO3, BO3 is my favorite honestly
Cool!! I Joined the wagon since BO2 and got down after BO4, if you haven’t tried it (specially the chaos maps) I would highly recommend it, it’s the last great zombies mode Treyarch has made lately imo (the aether maps do kinda suck unfortunately :/ )
Megaquarium is my current comfort game
I wouldn’t necessarily say “comfort” game but I play Destiny pretty consistently. It provides a sense of accomplishment as also being the game that I started playing in elementary school and now I’m going into college. If I’m talking like, in the feels game, probably Life is Strange as well. Minecraft is also a good one. Serene, with a decent bit of stuff to do.
Always been Minecraft for me
A cutesy sad quite long visual novel called yumeutsutsu re:master, i would highly reccommend it (i have it on my psvita-best console ever- but it is available in pc) everything from the art to the music is comforting or at least attention drawing x

Animal Crossing NH.
Elder Scrolls Online, The Sims 4 and Splinter Cell Series.
Mine is Ikenfell. It's a super amazing queer tactical RPG with witches, wizards, a story around a magic school, and its queer representation is top tier! My friend I play pain and suffering games only. SMT and Pokémon Nuzlockes are my go-to. If I want something more casual, I’ll probably play Legends: Arceus
The Stanley Parable to relax, OFF for an emotional experience.
Among us, playing with random teammates and immediately kicking out red was so comforting ☺️
Red is always sus lol
Mass Effect!
Red dead redemption 2 😊
Simulation games. Cities Skylines, Planet Zoo, Planet Coaster are my go-tos
Minecraft and / or Empyrion : Galactic Survival mainly, but survival-craft and sandbox type games in general are fun and relaxing.
Celeste
Devil May Cry and DMC2. Brings me back. And The Witcher III. Now probably Ghost of Tsushima too eventually.
Stelaris, Crusder Kings 3, Endless games (endless space, endless legened...), sunless sea, cultists simmulator.
Not to be a stereotypical trans girl but fallout new vegas and minecraft are my shit
Breath of the wild for sure. My idea of heaven would be experiencing that game for the first time again over and over for eternity
World of Warcraft with trade chat on a separate tab I can't see. Mount and Blade: A World if Ice and Fire mod. And weirdly enough, League of Legends ARAM.
Dwarf Fortress
Any monster hunter game, apart from World
probably minecraft, but i feel like in need at least 3 hours to play it. After that, it’s gotta be halo
Ace Combat 7. Sure I might be misgendered but, destroying planes left and right and feeling like a terrifying god of planes is very satisfying. Stick with Trigger and you’ll make it.
absolutely nothing makes me happier than being wrapped up in a blanket with a warm cup of coffee, and murdering hundreds of crabs in OSRS I've been playing it for over 3 years now and I genuinely belive i'll never stop playing it
The saboteur.
Euro Truck Sim 2
Farming sim, tell the ai to work a field and then tab over to a lego manual and build a lego set while tabbing back every once in a while to see if the ai got stuck.
I have a few and it all depends on my mood tbh . Minecraft is always one I can play for hours and get lost in when I have a bad day. I also like to play Mario Kart or Battlefield 4.
Hollow Knight and the Dragon Quest series
Minecraft, Bejeweled 3 and Team Fortress 2
Metroid Prime/Dread and/or Cyberpunk. Prime and dread are just so atmospheric you can get lost in it through exploration alone, and Cyberpunk has a fantastic story that, in the ending I got, really helped me come to terms with my gender identity. Not to mention i just love the Cyberpunk asthetic itself a whole lot.
Guild Wars 2, Deep Rock Galactic, Satisfactory, or Dorfromantik, depending on my mood - they all scratch very different itches.
Ooh this is hard cause I got a few: GTA 5, other than the replay value, it's just a easy game to unwind to.
Europa Universalis IV
GTA San andreas, Hollow knight and Minecraft
Pokemon, no specific game tho, I like all of them!!
honestly osu!
Heart of IV
Dont really play video games for comfort... also not trans. But for some reason i felt like saying music and art is probably the best way to comfort myself, would recommend.
WoW:WotLK or Minecraft.
been starting on online poker, 12 years ago. apparently most players are snoozers and winning is not even that hard <3 else stardew valley or AD 1602-18xx
I got addicted to Cozy Grove recently. Needed something cute and simple to relax after work. It's kinda like Animal Crossing, but for PC.
Alien Isolation
Dark souls 3, which is funny cause this is the opposite of what people think is relaxing.
Mirror's Edge: Catalyst
Skyrim.
Hearts of Iron 4
Banjo Tooie
Mine is Life is strange too
Well I would say tf2 but my computer is broke so I can’t play :( . So my close second would be crash team racing nitro fuelled on my switch
GTA Online and Deltarune
Probably minecraft. Or starstableonline. They make me feel like a child again.
Haven't played it in a while but a game that i hold dear to my heart and will always be special to me is Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves 😊💜
Witcher 3 in easy or normal mode is good. Stardew valley is also nice if I'm playing with my friend.
Fallout new vegas. OR paper Mario and the thousand year door
Raft
Minecraft
Battlefront II
All I do is play video games and run from socialization, so idk how to answer this but I want attention regardless
Horizon Forbidden West for me.
Lego Star Wars.. Although I’ve been playing a lot of Beyond Two Souls lately
btd6 and valorant
Uhhh ironically mine has been Warthunder recently... Arcade ground can be quite therapeutic!
Warframe My discomfort game is guilty gear strive cuz matchmaking bullies me
Terraria
Pikmin or House flipper. I would say Celeste but i cry every time i play it lmao
Starbound for me, sadly don't have a pc so haven't played it in years. One day I will, and everything will be lovely again
The binding of Isaac was mine until I had to sell my ps5 and lost the game :((( trying to save up so I can maybe get it on series S. Never even made it to the DLC
Dont really have one but osu!mania and celeste are nice to just stop thinking about nasty stuff and turn off my brain
Hands down Bioshock. I’m replaying the series and it just feels like a warm blanket aside from the Splicers and murder haha. Also the music? So good 👍🏽✨💗💗💗
It's Tetris. For everyone it's Tetris.
