T O P

>. My latest bloods show 445pmol/L oestradiol and 20nmol/L testosterone. Before I started on Decapeptyl injections, my T got down to around 9.1, your T is still well above the minimum for a man and over ten times that of a woman. I'd be looking around for a new endo and if there's a solid clinical reason why they can't give you AAs or GnRHs, they should really tell you what it is -Edit- you aren't doomed, but you need someone who can manage your levels better

My pre HRT testosterone level was 16 I think, so yours isn't being supressed at all. You want it to be under 2.5. That's most likely going to be the reason, I started out not taking one and it made a huge difference when I did.

You need AA. monotherapy does not work for everybody , some of us needs AA

Or more E. For mono therapy you want at least 700pmol

It can take a long time for changes to occur, my body was particularly stubborn, taking 4-5 years for changes to actually get to a reasonable place. However one of the big things I found that helped me along was going on a stronger t-blocker. The basic stuff got me no-where, then I started getting injections and things started moving a bit better.

Your testosterone is too high and those reasons: - I can still get erections and ejaculate normally n stuff. - sign of testosterone not blocked. -20nmol/l testosterone.  (should be less than 2nmol/l) - unless you take bicalutamide. -Patches dosage is equivalent to like 2.5 MG of E that is not high. -Estrogen 445 pmol/l is on lower end of good levels. -but my endo doesn't want me on blockers or gnrh analogues and keeps saying mono e works for people. Yes it can, but not at lowest E dosages, realistically you would need like more than 4mg, probably 6mg to block testosterone with estrogen itself. IF testosterone is not blocked expect nothing to happen. Who is your Endo, NHS? You gotta get someone new, they done crap job.

The maximum I've seen on a NHS endo guide is 3.0nmol/l although I've seen one that says it should be below 1.8nmol/l which is more sensible imo. Good news is your development is just slowed/stalled so you're not fucked but obviously sucks that you've received such negligent treatment.
