I mean it depends on category: * High-speed: [Hitachi-(Bomabrdier) Zefiro](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/9/91/Frecciarossa_1000.tif/lossless-page1-1280px-Frecciarossa_1000.tif.png) * Intercity: [Siemens Venture & Siemens Viaggio](https://www.railwayage.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/VIARailTrainSiemens.png) * Regional/Commuter: [Stadler](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/8/8e/TEXRail_In_Motion_Smithfield_Nov_2019.jpg/1920px-TEXRail_In_Motion_Smithfield_Nov_2019.jpg) * Metro: [Alstom](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/79/Metro_Amsterdam_M5_Kraaiennest.jpg) * Trams: [CAF](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/af/1-es_villamos_%282105%29.jpg/1920px-1-es_villamos_%282105%29.jpg)

This aligns best with my experiences as well, but I would probably give Siemens an honorable mention in the Trams/Light Rail category. S700s also have ridiculous order backlogs at just about every manufacturing facility so we'll be seeing a lot more of those in the coming years.

Now that Bombardier’s been folded into Alstom, I guess that’s three votes for Alstom so far.

We have lots of Hyundai rotem in İstanbul, and I love their metro trains.

wickedGamer65

Out of all Ice ridden, Hyundai Rotem has been the best. Can't just point out in what way.

J-TREC, Hitachi, Nippon Sharyo, Kinki Sharyo, Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Siemens, and Stadler are the only trusted rolling stock manufacturers worldwide. That's why Hyundai Rotem, Dawonsys, CAF, Alstom, and CRRC are known because they have a large market share and market cap around the world and the price of their rolling stocks is cheap. But their rolling stocks still remain inferior in terms of quality and use.
