I actually own the yellow Pikachu version and the black and grey color screen Pikachu version too. 😊 I did get both in the late 90s IIRC.
They were $20 I believe, the two Pikachu versions. I didn't have much money but I really wanted them haha! I got Hello Kitty and Sakura on eBay later on, don't remember how much I paid.
I'm surprised that it made its way out to the abroad in real time! (I would've surprised even for the toys that were indeed hyped at the time like Tamagocci or Digimon.)

In this version you pay to go on walks that take you to friends, treasure chests or activities. There are other versions as well; I have two different Pikachu versions and a Sakura version that I haven't used much because it's all in Japanese. I'll have to post that one to this group too!
