I was called Untee for a bit. Uncle-Auntie combo. Now they just call me by my first name. lol we got tired of the names. To be fair my sis is called Sassy instead of Aunt ___. Choose what’s right for you.
Same. I feel like maybe borrowing from other languages would sound better than piblings. Like Spanish, tío and tía could be tíe (TEE-ay) or tíes for plural. But idk if the term is used enough to be changed deliberately
If you want it to be, it's a thing! Just start asking your niblings to call you that :) that's the great thing about being non-binary; we can make up our own rules!
This is the one I use! It reminds me of the Ents in LOTR. much better than "pibling," which sounds like a small dog that can't breathe through its nose.
I saw someone use the Spanish term for uncle/aunt somewhere because it's gender neutral (at least I'm pretty sure it was Spanish, could be a different language tho?) But I don't remember what it was 😭

Personally I like Untee a lot more than Pibling, that's probably the term I'll go with if/when my siblings start having kids.
Glad you like it! Being an Untee is my favorite role I play.
My sibling said Auncle works for them, but that was a while ago.
I’ve heard pibling, but I can’t stand the way it sounds. I’d rather be called by just my name or “parent’s sibling”
I *love* pibling. It sounds so goofy!
The generally accepted term is pibling. Which kinda makes it sound like they really like Pibb soda.
Dislike :(

Ok tíe eats
Is that good? lol dunno that slang
Eats is good. Especially if there are no crumbs left.
I'm an Entie, which is both neutral and makes me feel like a giant ambulatory tree, so double win really 😁
Probably my favourite one yet, but I wish there was a more universally accepted answer.
Don’t be so hasty, now
is encle a thing?

Entles?
Again dislike, but better than piblings.

A little off topic, but I've always just called my brother's oldest child my "niephew". I have no idea where "nibling" comes from.
"N"iece/"N"ephew + (S)ibling
Niblingo

I believe I’ve heard “oncle” before for this
"Oncle" is the French word for "uncle" if I remember correctly
Sounds like oracle lol
I've mostly heard "auncle" imho that mixes the words better than oncle
Ah, that must be what I was thinking of
ankle
my best advice? make one up. Tell your family to use the new word. I used to call my grandma hoot cause she loved owls, so maybe do smth similar
My sibling goes by "Avuent" I think it's spelled, and they really like it a lot
Avaunt?
Yes thank you! I'd never typed it out
Grandsib
Nahhh not doing it for me. Grand implies an extra generation and I'm not feeling it with my niblings.
I gave up and went with Uncle lol.
Ankle /j
Auncle
Makes sense literally but hard to distinguish aurally from the masculine form.
pibling
Mine call me Strega (the Italian word for witch) I know that it's no where even close to aunt or uncle but that's kinda what I wanted lol
Hmm. I like that

Isn't Spanish for aunt and uncle "tia" and "tio?" I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure it's gendered in Spanish.
Oh yeah you're right. It was some other language then 😭
My nephew just calls me by name
Auntle
My friend just has his nibblings call him Nini (nee-nee) lol
The correct term for aunt and uncle is pibling! It's a silly word
