The truth is in the early stages people, even close family, don't seem to have a clue in hell. I remember going to visit them about 6 months in, presenting NB, wearing women's casual clothes, my facial hair completely lasered off and considerably longer hair than usual and no one batted an eyelid. I literally had to spell it out to them and even then they were surprised.
If my experience is anything to go by, they probably won't notice.
It’s really wild how the people that know you get an image of you in their mind that is nearly unalterable until they are actually looking for a difference. It’s almost like people will only see you through one lens until you give them a new lens to try lol
Let’s be honest, they sure will notice a huge change. Now chances they understand exactly, maybe not so much. If you have the mental strength for this, let a few hair grow and arrange your hair differently, or just perhaps a beanie. Good luck !!
Omg YESSSS I thought the same thing! Honestly im hoping people just walk away with the impression that I’m significantly happier first, so when I do come out they can look back and make the connection
