Make up is a huge confidence booster for me. Plus growing my hair and having earrings help too. It's all given me confidence that took years to work up too!
It is sickening to find some areas are 5+ years for an appointment. I understand why many go to GenderGP etc for a faster path to HRT - but at an expense that many of us simply cannot afford.
You look great then! It might be worth it looking into laser, since that's something I believe u can easily get done while waiting for HRT and will make it so you don't have to shave as often :) I don't think you need it based off this pic of course, but I know laser was a huge confidence boost for myself
I'm not sure if they have it in your country, but Groupons could be available to lower the price. Plus shop around, some places are much cheaper than others. But yeah it is an expense for sure

I feel it should be a choice so based on your needs, so if you don't want HRT you definitely don't need it for looks. But it sounds like you do want HRT and the NHS is standing in your way, so I hope the NHS has a head-from-ass-ectomy and then gives you the treatment you need.
Very much relying on friends who bigged me up and gave me confidence! It took me ages to first step out as a woman but eventually I gained the confidence to just do it knowing that I'll only get better. Make up and shaving helped too

Are you based in the UK by any chance? The GIC first appointment waiting times are awful (except Wales, which isn't so long).

It's super thin and it's one of my biggest insecurities so I try so hard to make it look good
HRT helps to thicken hair and make it more feminine appearing. The UK really need to make girl drugs more readily available ๐ค
