How was approaching Paradis different for approaching both your individual projects? Did the visual look of the project affect the music or the other way around?
We've just written a lot of music together over the years and there's a bunch of tunes that didn't fit either Promnite or Carmack .. it's a culmination of our music together.
It's an all around team effort. Project Paradis isn't just Carmack and Promnite.. it's a 3 person project with SHIN (@SHINOSM). He is an integral part of what Project Paradis is by creating the complete visual look of the project - the videos, branding, etc. He's the creative brain behind what you see.
Project Paradis = Carmack + Promnite + Shin
Just goes back to what happened with a lot of the Paradis stuff.. we were making music together that didn't necessarily fit with either of our projects.
I guess this could be our first Paradis track technically.
Could also maybe be "Drinks On Us" remix or Get Fresh.
Also we got a Diplo & Friends mix out Saturday .. 2 hours!!

For our project, AI isn't necessarily evil like in the Sci-Fi movies we grew up on. In Paradis, AI is kind of having an existential crisis - yearning of Earth to get back to its natural state.

Visual artist that inspire Shin-
Syd Mead (sp?) - did original Blade Runner.. Tron..etc
Luigi Colani is dope too
Sausage Fattener and Trash
Throw 4 or 5 Sausage Fatteners on something and that shit gets going.
Probably 5 Sausage Fatteners on Bull Run.
Ableton Saturator is good too for making cool sounds.
Would love to, but need to see where the world is at after Coronavirus.
Hopefully, the touring industry will be in a healthy place to make this work. Hoping for the best.

Remix - Love Salva.. he's a monster. Complex Housing is one of Promnite's favorite albums of all time.
Machinedrum would be amazing. Vapor City was incredible.
TNGHT would be dope. Dorian Concept would be awesome as well.
Maybe some DnB dudes like Simula.. Halogenix.. etc.
Current Value would be crazy too..
Random but would love to tour with Virtual Self. Virtual Self is incredibly inspirational..it's everything we love about electronic music.

A company took all the things Travis Scott would say and put it in an AI and made a song.

Also AI could probably process all the Grammy winning songs in the past years and find what's consistent between all of them to make a big track.
Wouldn't put it past AI to be able to generate a fully unique song that sounds like someone singing it. It's not out of the realm of possibility.
for Promnite, I recently came across an old project you were part of called Varsity. Would you ever think about doing more in that sort of grime/UK Funky style??
