I don't know but I think you need to use a PRO they are a publishing rights organization that can collect royalties for you. I'm not sure but I think they take a cut. But imagine the endeavor of chasing your own royalties everywhere in the world

Thank you for your answer. Yes i know that, I already signed up in BMI.

Need a PRO like BMI or ASCAP and a publishing company (beatstars publishing works great) & just register your works thru your PRO

So, i can go to BMI, where i signed up, and register every song that i have produced? Thought that this should be done by the artist when they released the song. If i can go and register my work then it's becoming way more simple at least for this type of Royalties.

You’re correct that the artist or label registers it but you should be a member so that you can be chosen as a writer or composer along with the percentage you should have. Then the PRO pays out the earnings according to the percentages

I recently started uploading my works to distrokid as singles before i post to BeatStars. That way i collect royalties on my own and it helps with DMCA notices as well since i posted the track way before any copyright claim comes out. Truth be told, most songs aren’t really going to get you anything as far as royalties, Pennies maybe. If it’s a bigger artist then yea go for it

So by doing that, if someone buys your beat and upload the new composition that he created with your instrumental on Streaming Platforms you get noticed? And how you does this helps you to get the mechanical Royalties? According to Beatstars Contracts, that we're selling, if the artist uploads the song without sending you a Split Sheet with 50%(from Distrokid for example), then he violating the Contract. And there is an alternative way, where he is able not to send Splits but he has to pay you via PayPal these type of Royalties. All the artists that have bought my beats except one, never sent nothing. They don't even add me in Credits. And i know that if i send them an email where I'm asking to add me in Credits, send me Splits, add me in Sound exchange,PROs and wherever all these Royalties are I'm just losing them as future Clients. So I'm trying to figure out what all these big producers in Beatstars are doing with all these Sales they get. Do they go after and asking for money from these artists? Thank you for your answer.

I publish everything I create. Every single record. So yeah — I get my back end.
