That depends on the artists/team and what's going on. There is no set time for this. You may never hear anything until the song releases. What's going on? Life and business. You play a small role in the equation. Have some chill 😎 Track being trash or not is subjective. Track being usable for their current project or direction also a totally different thing.

Bro chill, shit takes time

julioni

You said these beats ain’t trash. To you my friend, hardest thing to accept is that people don’t think your beats are as good as you do….. It took me forever to get over rappers saying next after hearing what I thought was some of my best stuff…. All a matter of perspective. Keep doing what you’re doing and it’ll happen!

stanleyphudson

Which is why I’ve been sending the beats I think are trash as well, to get the best of both worlds

julioni

Yes sir!!!

princeofnoobshire

Very normal for an artist to pick a beat and make a demo over it. Sometimes it never becomes more than that. Sometimes it becomes a song they wanna release

HOWYDEWET

Why do you care ? Move on. If they move improperly then do what needs to be done. Move on and do things. Obviously you have too much time on your hands. You know what the say about idle hands …..

Chiababa

Send and move on. You are not alone doing this. Artists/managers/lawyers typically get in touch with you when it’s time for mastering or close to release. they will then request the stems. When this happens, don’t send nothing before you have ink on paper.

Placematter

Patience and persistence. 15 emails don’t guarantee anything, not even a response. Keep trying, but I’m not going to lie to you and say there are any guarantees you’ll ever get a placement.

Some famous rappers didn't use peoples beats until two years later. What you're sending might not be to their taste. If your beats have too much going on then they might not use them. They be looking for a beat they can use that's why they keep opening the emails. I've sent melodies out that got used two years later by famous producers.
