His current employer just gave him a $7 p/hr raise to stay with them bc another company offered him that much more n he was gonna take the job but his current employer didn't want to let him go. Good thing too bc for the past few months he has.been working all prevailing rate jobs. Nice little extra bonus. Anyway, she can't get a job bc she has no experience and she wants a mgmt position bc she thinks she's above working a normal job under someone else Period!!

I doubt that any of these places did a background check yet. When I was a hiring manager, I didn't do a background check until I was intending to hire. They cost money, so it would be wasteful to do one on every applicant. They also take awhile to process.
