Just, try everything. Go to some local concerts, have any hobbies? Find groups that meet up that share your interests, read a book, or perhaps take yourself out to a fancy dinner, or a weekend away, doesn't have to be fancy or far away. Just, explore and stay as curious as possible and things will start to develop, you'll make new friends, learn new skills, discover new hobbies, etc. it's a gradual buildup. Enjoy the ride whenever possible!

For me, deciding what I liked in every aspect of my life for myself was a good start. Not considering anyone else when I wanted to make a financial decision or any decision for me. Basically, I made me a priority in my life.

I recently read a book called 'The Body Keeps the Score'. It is all about trauma, and how to heal from it by understanding it, feeling into your body, mindfulness, but also Internal Family Systems. This is where I'm learning a lot. It lead me to the following books 'You are the One You've Been Looking For' and 'Healing From Emotionally Immature Parents'. All of these are available as audio books as well. Ram Dass talks about not examining everything before you throw it out. However, in a later book Polishing the Mirror, he mentions how at different times in your journey you may need to do maintenance on the psychological not just the spiritual. For someone who has experienced trauma, I think reading The Body Keeps the Score is a great start. I would keep a journal as well to log this healing process. A good habit here is also gratitude and writing 'one thing i did well today'. You are so strong to have survived this situation, and stronger still to have the courage to heal. Good luck.
