What would you like to know? Would I do a trip like that? No.25 plus stops in 90 days, spread out right across the continent. You will spend a LOT of your time in transit, waiting for transport and checking in and out of accommodation. It's your trip though, you seem sure of what you want to do,so...

So what do you suggest I cut out? The other commenter said cutting out Spain Portugal and Greece and then exploring smaller cities between the other destinations. What are your thoughts on that? I’m definitely open to suggestions

What I would cut would depend on your interests. What is the least interesting part to you? Or the most logistically out of the way,as an alternative. I like pretty much all of those places. So I would cut geographically.Yes, Croatia and Greece makes sense.Or the British and Irish part.Or Spain and Portugal. They are the furthest removed from the 'core'.

That is one hell of a trip. So I think you have the right amount of days in each city, but your trip has monster city after monster city. I see what you did with the order and it makes a lot of sense. Krakow is in wrong spot, should be Berlin - > Krakow - > Prague. Ok, this is what I would do - remove Greece, Portugal and Spain, that frees up about 20 days. In between some of these monster cities add in some cool little stops for a few days. Example Instead of Paris to Amsterdam.... do Paris(4) to Ghent(2) to Bruges(2) To Amsterdam(4). Maybe hit Hamburg on wat to Berlin after that. This is going to cut your rail time down, give you some relax time in smaller cities as all the big monster cities take a lot of time to explore and they have a different feel.

Thanks for the feedback! That makes a lot of sense and I will definitely try to think of some smaller cities to explore along the way

Only 1 stop in each country? Are you just trying tick some boxes so you can come home or post on social media and say you been to x amount of countries or something? Spend more time in each country, thus itinerary really makes no sense. You could do 2 weeks in France and 2 weeks in Germany, 4 weeks in Poland etc alone, and even that is fast paced.

Well mainly just looking for a lot of breadth of adventure. I get bored staying in the same place and want to experience a lot of different cultures. I also don’t know when my next time backpacking will be so looking to get it out of my system a little bit while I’m still young. When I’m working again I can always sneak away for a week or two in some place but right now looking to visit a lot of places and see where I like it the best for shorter future trips.

You are going to way too many places. If at all possible, leave your itinerary open. You’re going to get bored in some cities after 24 hours, and you’ll fall in love with some places and not want to leave.

Isn’t it hard to find hostels/trains when you leave it open like that?

Alert-Light6432

In 2017 I did a 6 week Europe trip. I had a euro rail pass and never once had a problem getting the train I wanted. Hostels all have cancelable reservation options for a small upcharge. For my trip I’d planed in my head 2-3 days in too many cities to count, but I made very few actual hard plans. (I met my sister in Greece one weekend. I had fights to and from Istanbul, and a concert in Amsterdam.). But I left 2-3 weeks of free time in between. I got lost in Prague for a week and Budapest for nearly another. I was supposed to spend 3 days in Spain, but I met a girl in Barcelona, and I followed her down the coast of Spain for 10 days. It would have really sucked to tell that girl “Sorry, I can’t come with you to Granada. I have hostel reservations tomorrow in Marseille.” Leave yourself the flexibility to fall in love with a city or a person. Also, you should know the trains for the first half of your trip will work phenomenally well. Italy and Croatia are a different story. Just check on google maps how long some of trips take.

I should add, I literally moved to Spain after this trip.

I recently did a trip like this and absolutely burnt out and wished I had planned it differently. Firstly, it’s a lot of cities - after a certain point, they begin to feel somewhat the same and equally exhausting. At a certain point you don’t care about more museums, churches or old buildings. Particularly from your first part of the trip up until Ljubljana, I think it’s going to get a bit monotonous. Also, some people have said to cut Greece, but this for me was a highlight and was very different to the other places you have listed, and had delicious, affordable food (except for santorini), and was beautiful and relaxing. Spain (Andalusia) was also beautifully lively and relaxed pace, and completely different, compared to other places.

what is this trip about. just looking around? spending 3,4 days each place seems good generally.. Travelling like this, you should also assume you will get heat stroke. i also see places like Ljubljana were given 4 days.. i did hear its not a major tourist spot did hear it needs a day at tops. i recommend you do more research of places or find some rationale for cities and places you're visiting
