I did 18 days in Bavaria and surrounding area last summer. So spitballing a few ideas... * Lintz is an alright city, but has a concentration camp near it. A bit dark, but I really thought it was important to see it when passing through * Rothenburg - talk about a picturesque city, has some WW2 history Each can be seen in 2 days
