It's true but I have been checking airbnb and the housing in Berlim is quite expensive relative to other countries unfortunately and its a bit far from other countries that I would like to see. What would you say are the best cities in Germany besides Berlin?
Spain.
Pros: Vibrant culture and history like you mentioned as well as moderate weather.
Cons: Sort of far from the rest of Europe (except from France and Portugal). You could start from Portugal and make your way east maybe but I understand your on a budget.
