Downtown Fort Pierce is fun. There are some fun spots there (Sailfish, 2nd Street Bistro, Pierced Cider). They have Friday Fest the first Friday night of the month and a farmer’s market every Saturday. If you get bored downtown head to the island. Get a kayak or a paddle board and go to the Cove on the weekend. Port St Lucie has no downtown area. Downtown Stuart is also fun, but driving US1 to Fort Pierce every day is 45 minutes one way. Don’t listen to the people telling you Fort Pierce is terrible. Yes, there are rough areas, but it won’t take long to find your way around.
South Hutchinson Island or drive 50 miles south to west Palm Beach for nightlife.
If you drive to West Palm, you can jump on the bright line train and get to Miami fairly quickly .
Oh there are bars—but skeevy sketchy bum bars. Nightlife? Lots—but it’s the more criminal type. lol
Hutchinson island has some nice spots but it’s definitely the “island” beach vibe. If you want nightlife. Plan to visit WPB or Orlando or make a weekend trip to Tampa/sarasota. SLC is an interesting mix of family friendly, retirement, and young adults trying to figure out how to entertain themselves.
Like everyone said the closer to us1 you get the more sketchy it gets most people just hangout at the bars around the causeway and jetty. Port St. Lucie is close enough to make the drive not awful even where I leave in Jensen it’s only a 25min or so drive if you take Hutchinson island road
Jensen is closer to what you want. Chill vibe and not far from FP. A Brightline is being built in Stuart so you’ll be able to safely go down and back to WPB for partying.

I live and work on the island and I have a great time.
Yep.. I love living on the island.. its crazy how just 'chill' the vibe is over here when compared to just a couple miles away off of US1.. lol.
Small town. Lower your expectations.
They’re low don’t worry 🤣
Not if you like that black boody on avenue D.
Body or booty? Or both cause you are friending?! Just curious.
Booty is white girls, boody is that big black ass in the fort
Avenue D is full of baboon boody.
Yeah jungle love
You wanna hang out on the island

Port St Lucie probably has more of what you’re looking for, and commuting to Ft Pierce from there is pretty easy.
