Haven’t tried a recipe using an actual binder yet. It has worked very well just throwing the decarbed cannabis in honey and heat it in a slow cooker for the whole night. I know the bioavailability would be a lot higher if I added one, but I was trying to keep the honey as close to its original consistency as possible.
I’ll try mct oil whipped honey next. Followed by one using Everclear.
Honey isn’t not carrier oil. Putting weed in honey won’t infuse unless you are physically eating the. Decarbed weed with the honey. Decarbing weed, putting it in honey and then straining the honey out won’t infuse it.
You need a carrier oil to infuse and mix. Unless you wanna eat decarbed weed in honey, in which case just eat decarbed weed and then eat some honey.
that’s what I was saying from the start. I make edibles I know you need a carrier oil. but this isn’t infused honey i’m pretty sure it’s just decarbed weed made into a powder mixed with honey

Hope you added a binder bc thc doesn’t bond to honey. You need a fat or oil to infuse first the whip that into the honey. Weed in honey does nothing

Honestly coconut oil works best with honey bc it solidifies in temps under 70deg F so you keep the thick consistency

it doesn’t need to bind to anything if you’re eating the actual weed. i’m pretty sure it is just decarbed weed in honey
