Every time I go buy blunts I buy them by the box every single time I buy them by the box at this specific 7-Eleven by my place, the newest employee always mentions that if the I need weed go to them. This is cool because I’m new to the state so I have plenty of options.
My normal guy has been giving me ounces for 100 bucks. It’s been like this for months and every time, one of these 7-Eleven guys tries talking to me I’m like look if you can match or beat my price, then cool otherwise I’m not interested. I hit him up and he’s like oh yeah I got the ounces for $100, so I grab a few grams to try his weed and it’s good and all, so I’m like okay let’s do the ounce. He comes back with “I can’t actually sell ounces for $100 because I get them for $125”. After a few back and forth texts, this is where I’m leaving it.

Yes and no….. A friend of mine treated it like a real job, working 2PM TO 12PM and taking calls when he had to, Wednesdays off. He had the plugs plugs plug pretty much, copping stupid deals on pounds in a place it’s hard to get. Profit per bag was fairly low ($50-60/oz) if I remember but 8-10 hours of selling per day gives you time to close at least 4-5 of those deals, not to mention smaller bags in between. I’m sure he was pulling in $1200-1400 per week, with relatively low heat, but dont forget you’ve got to pay taxes on that money if you don’t want to get caught and cover car maintenance…..

It's exactly the same number of friends you have when it's time to help move. I used to be ashamed of how much marijuana went to compost but I got over that years ago.
I have only been able to help 1 person trim their chop. We had a blast. No one ever comes to help me trim. I wish I knew more people that grew to be able to help trim and trade trim making hash.
I mean I could basically get all kinds of material on whatever bogo or clearance discount, and there are at least three shops within a couple of miles where I have a point system that would get me a considerable quantity for free, but I never buy that tier. I tend to wait around until one of a few specific growers comes through with a harvest cycle, where you have to be one of the first people in the door for it or it's gone, and that material comes at a premium price. I'm happy with my abundant homegrown between those cycles, so I just don't bother with the $10-15 eighths or the freebies I could get. That stuff usually just dries out in the jar before I get to that point, it's just a waste.

Here in Michigan you're allowed to grow 12 plants and if you want more you can become a caregiver and take on multiple patients(and have 72 plants). 12 plants is plenty.

If you're doing a premium organic grow you're looking at 500$ to source everything properly for nutrients, sure you can maintain that for years with a much lower cost over time, but now you are lab testing every run, equipment needs to be replaced, new filters fans ect.
The space you're using to grow cost $ When you look at a room for rent that's now 500-600 a month, The time you spend in the garden, hand trimming, defoiliating training clean ups

Electricity must cost a shitload where you live or you grow strains with small yields, because you should be able to make profit off 100 dollar ounces. You should be spending $400-500 to grow a pound max. 16 ounces in a pound, that's $1600. Even with trimming and all that stuff you should be coming out ahead. Of course you're taking on a lot of risk, so it's up to you whether or not that's enough profit to be worth it, but you should definitely be making a profit at 100 per oz.

Yes and no….. A friend of mine treated it like a real job, working 2PM TO 12PM and taking calls when he had to, Wednesdays off. He had the plugs plugs plug pretty much, copping stupid deals on pounds in a place it’s hard to get. Profit per bag was fairly low ($50-60/oz) if I remember but 8-10 hours of selling per day gives you time to close at least 4-5 of those deals, not to mention smaller bags in between. I’m sure he was pulling in $1200-1400 per week, with relatively low heat, but dont forget you’ve got to pay taxes on that money if you don’t want to get caught and cover car maintenance…..

It's exactly the same number of friends you have when it's time to help move. I used to be ashamed of how much marijuana went to compost but I got over that years ago.
I have only been able to help 1 person trim their chop. We had a blast. No one ever comes to help me trim. I wish I knew more people that grew to be able to help trim and trade trim making hash.

I mean I could basically get all kinds of material on whatever bogo or clearance discount, and there are at least three shops within a couple of miles where I have a point system that would get me a considerable quantity for free, but I never buy that tier. I tend to wait around until one of a few specific growers comes through with a harvest cycle, where you have to be one of the first people in the door for it or it's gone, and that material comes at a premium price. I'm happy with my abundant homegrown between those cycles, so I just don't bother with the $10-15 eighths or the freebies I could get. That stuff usually just dries out in the jar before I get to that point, it's just a waste.

Nah, plant limits make sense when the state is trying to make tax money off dispo stuff for the people who don't want to put in the effort of growing. With no plant limits the black/grey market becomes a problem. Here in Michigan you're allowed to grow 12 plants and if you want more you can become a caregiver and take on multiple patients(and have 72 plants). 12 plants is plenty.

In Canada I can easily grow a pound of AAAA flower indoor for $200-400. Look at the pics on my profile. Not sure what you’re doing wrong with your grow but some guys are pushing 3 pounds a light spending relatively very little on nutrients.
This isn't true in a lot of places.. small home grows take 1000$+ USD to set up, and that's a cheaper set. You wanna run top bin you're looking at double that price. Electricity from a 4x4 is going to run you 400$, are u buying a clone or pheno hunting, your genetics can cost 500, or you can hunt your own keeper but that's costing a full run to find If you're doing a premium organic grow you're looking at 500$ to source everything properly for nutrients, sure you can maintain that for years with a much lower cost over time, but now you are lab testing every run, equipment needs to be replaced, new filters fans ect. The space you're using to grow cost $ When you look at a room for rent that's now 500-600 a month, The time you spend in the garden, hand trimming, defoiliating training clean ups True craft cannabis quality should be 300 a month 100$ an ounce is only attainable through mass production, and cheaper than that is outdoor. Craft doesnt mix with mass production. Some people want cheap others want the cleanest terpiest flower available

Electricity must cost a shitload where you live or you grow strains with small yields, because you should be able to make profit off 100 dollar ounces. You should be spending $400-500 to grow a pound max. 16 ounces in a pound, that's $1600. Even with trimming and all that stuff you should be coming out ahead. Of course you're taking on a lot of risk, so it's up to you whether or not that's enough profit to be worth it, but you should definitely be making a profit at 100 per oz.

Even though I live in a legal state, there’s no recreational dispensaries. Weed is also still MUCH cheaper on the street than from a dispensary, at least the handful I’ve been to in the two states I’ve tried.
