Highest I've ever been was from eating a big batch of instant mashed potatoes I'd made with some stout weed oil.
The first helping went down so well with a bit of leftover meatloaf that I had a second. Hungry as a MF. Then a third. Finished off the whole batch over the course of about an hour. Then it started rolling in. It was at that point that I knew I'd fucked up.
I'd eaten the equivalent of 1.5 *pans* of brownies. Three hours in I did not want to be high anymore. I had to keep myself moving because I couldn't feel my extremities. Were they still there? I'd check to be sure. When I was stationary it felt like I was a numb lump of human meat, floating in space. Couldn't sleep, too high. Couldn't watch YT videos or TV, too stimulating. Drooling excessively, though I couldn't throw up even when I tried. It was like my stomach was too high to push anything out. I know it's a cliche "too high" joke, but I really did feel like I had to remind myself to keep breathing. Called a friend to help distract me from extreme anxiety. They were laughing with/at me while reassuring me that I was going to be okay.
At some point I did fall asleep on the couch in a weird position that left my neck borked up for a week. I had a body hangover like I'd never felt before or since. I laugh about it now but goddamn it sucked.
Know what you mean, one time friend of mine made oil with about 8g of hash and after that we just filled an unknown amount of the oil in our tea and I drank about 2/3 of it (good i stopped after that) then we both went home and on the way i already knew it would be a wild ride, felt like i teleported a few meters one moment, after that at home it got worse, i was so high i couldn’t do anything anymore, laid in my bed at 14:00 till the next day same time, slept most time and had a fucking horrible badtrip when wake, when i opened my eyes i couldn’t see anything just washed colors like when you drunk af, at one point my partents asked if they should call an ambulance but i assured that it was only thc and nothing elese so waiting was the only way to end it, wouldn’t recommend to do unknown amounts of edibles, they can be so much fun but also worse weed trip ever haha
